Description

The invention relates to an electrical transport conductor for high voltage overhead line.

It relates more specifically to a conductor comprising at least one central composite rod consisting of continuous fibers impregnated with a thermosetting resin matrix and around which are arranged conductive son of aluminum or aluminum alloy.

According to this document of the prior art, the composite rod consists of organic or inorganic fibers, for example aramid, silicon carbide or carbon, impregnated with a synthetic resin, preferably an epoxy resin. This ring can be coated with a polyimide resin or wrapped with a polyimide film, forming an insulating layer. Aluminum conductor wires are wrapped around such a ring or a set of such rods to form an electrical transport conductor.

In particular, the polyimide coating has the function of avoiding corrosion problems at the interface between the conductive wires and the rod comprising carbon fibers.

Given the non-zero resistivity of the carbon fibers, part of the main stream is derived from the conductive layers of aluminum or aluminum alloy son through the capacity formed by the combination of these conductive son, the insulating layer and carbon fibers. A potential difference therefore appears at the terminals of this insulating layer. This difference in potential gives rise to a potentially unacceptable electric field for the insulating layer, whatever the nature of the matrix of thermosetting material, whatever the nature and the implementation of the insulating layer and whatever the number of layers of conductive wires.

By calculation, it can be observed that the electrical voltage induced in this insulating layer is a function of the length of the conductor, the intensity of the electric current conveyed and is independent of the voltage between phases.

Since these conductors are intended to convey an electrical current of intensity that may be twice the corresponding intensity of a conventional equivalent cable, the voltage induced in the insulating coating may cause damage to it in the short or medium term.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes an electrical transport conductor in particular for overhead electrical lines and comprising at least one central composite rod consisting of continuous fibers impregnated with a thermosetting resin matrix, this rod being coated with at least one layer of insulating material and aluminum or aluminum alloy conductor wires being wound around this ring, characterized in that it comprises a device for short-circuiting said fibers and said conductive wires.

According to a preferred embodiment, said device is arranged at at least one end of the conductor.

And advantageously, said short-circuiting device is made during the manufacture of anchor sleeves or during the manufacture of in-line junctions.

By anchoring sleeve is understood the sleeve disposed on a pylon and supporting one end of the conductor. By line junction is meant a terminal junction of conductors between two pylons.

Ladite matière isolante peut être un poly-éther-éther-cétone.Said insulating material may be a polyether-ether-ketone.

Said insulating material may consist of at least one tape placed on said rod.

And preferably, the nature of said insulating material is fiberglass.

Said conductive son may be wound in at least one layer covering said rod coated with said insulating material.

And preferably, the conductor comprises a plurality of composite rods of which at least one is coated with a said layer of insulating material.

The conductor may comprise a plurality of composite rods contained in a said layer of insulating material.

Said conductive son diposées in layers may consist of round, trapezoidal son or Z. The shape of these conductive son may vary depending on the layer.

Lesdites fibres sont en carbone.Said fibers are made of carbon.

The invention is described below in more detail with the aid of figures representing only preferred embodiments of the invention.

The figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of an electrical transport conductor according to the invention.

The FIGS. 2A to 2C illustrate a first embodiment of the invention.

  • the maximum temperature allowed during a short circuit.

These conductors are such that the maximum permissible temperature is in the three aforementioned cases greater than or equal to 200 ° C, said temperature further operating temperature.
