Der Aufwand zur Realisierung eines einwandfreien Sitzes des bekannten Namensschildes ist bei alledem vergleichsweise hoch. Bekannt ist schließlich aus der DE 28 40 49 A eine durch einen Biegevorgang am Rand eines aus Karton bestehenden Etiketts anbringbare Metallklemme mit einem Klemmschenkel, dessen Klemmwirkung durch eine gegen seine Rückseite drückende Zunge erhöht wird. Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Namensschild der in Betracht gezogenen Art zu schaffen, dessen einwandfreier Sitz an einem Kleidungsstück sich auf einfachere Weise als beim bekannten Namensschild realisieren läßt. Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe erfindungsgemäß dadurch, daß der Klemmschenkel der Befestigungsvorrichtung des Namensschildes einen Schlitz aufweist, in den ein zur Erhöhung der Klemmwirkung dienendes Widerlager ragt. Bei dem er- findungsgemäßen Namensschild wird der Stoff des Kleidungsstückes, an dem es befestigt wird, nicht primär vom Klemmschenkel gegen eine Anlagefläche gedrückt, sondern in den Spalten zwischen dem Widerlager und den Rändern des Schlitzes des Klemmschenkels eingeklemmt. Der Stoff wird dabei im Bereich der Befestigungsvorrichtung leicht U-förmig verformt.
