Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a container for separately storing and mixing at least two components, as well as the use of the container.
  • a two-component container described which consists of two containers which are interconnected.
  • a container is sealed with a film and the other container has a plug as a separator.
  • the plug penetrates the film and thus opens the one container.
  • the plug is pushed out of its position.
  • a disadvantage of this two-component container is that the plug is free to move in the second container after the ejection and thus can cause a blockage.
  • a multi-chamber output container for separate storage of at least two components proposed.
  • the two chambers are separated by a disc.
  • the disc is in an inclined position and can be turned out of this oblique position by pressure on the container from the outside, whereby the two chambers are connected to each other.
  • the disc is over a peripheral zone with the Connected container wall which holds the disc after its actuation in place in the container.
  • a disadvantage of this container is that the disc serves only for the separation of the two substances and the release of an opening for connection of the two chambers. Another function can not perform this disc.
  • the object of the present invention is thus to provide a container for the separate storage and mixing of components, with which a reliable separation of the components during storage and a simple mixing can be realized.
  • the invention is based on the finding that this object can be achieved by providing an opening mechanism which is part of a storage chamber and can be operated from the outside.
  • the object is achieved by a container for separate storage and mixing of at least two components, wherein the container has at least two chambers and at least one chamber has a boundary wall which faces at least one further chamber and which is rotatably mounted in the container.
  • the container is characterized in that the container has an operating lever, which is connected to the boundary wall and extends over a side wall of the container to the outside.
  • the components may be, for example, solid, liquid, gaseous or gelatinous components.
  • the components may be, for example, foods, chemicals, such as lacquers or other reagents or substances.
  • the boundary wall Due to the rotatable mounting of the boundary wall, it can be moved in the container and thus make the interior of a chamber accessible, that is, open this chamber.
  • a connection between the adjacent chambers is provided, which is an exchange of Components of the respective chambers or at least allowed entry of the component of a chamber in the adjacent chamber.
  • the container also has an operating lever which is connected to the boundary wall and extends outwardly beyond a side wall of the container. This allows the operation of the boundary wall from the outside. In a boundary wall, in which the axis of rotation is perpendicular to the main direction of extension of the chamber, this operating lever will lie in the axis of rotation. In this way, the design effort of the container is minimized and the operation of the container is simplified. But it is also possible to align the operating lever, which extends beyond the side wall of the container to the outside, perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the boundary wall. In this case, a guide for the operating lever is provided in the container wall. Thus, for example, a perforation may be introduced into the container wall, which is opened upon movement of the operating lever and rotating the boundary wall about the axis of rotation.
  • the axis of rotation of the boundary wall is preferably perpendicular to the main extension direction of at least one of the chambers and extends through the center of the chamber.
  • the main extension direction is preferably the height of the chamber.
  • the axis of rotation is thus in the radial direction and extends through the center of the cross section.
  • the axis of rotation of the boundary wall can also run parallel to the main extension direction of the chamber. Also in this case the axis of rotation lies in the middle of the cross section of the chamber.
  • the boundary wall is constructed in several parts and consists in particular of fins which extend from the edge of the chamber to the center and beyond and overlap each other.
  • the boundary wall in this case has the structure of an iris diaphragm.
  • the boundary wall is adjacent to a sealing wall which seals another chamber.
  • the boundary wall is assigned exclusively to a chamber.
  • the other adjacent chamber is protected by the sealing wall against leakage of the component contained therein.
  • This has the advantage that a separation of the chambers from each other, for example, for transport or storage is possible. Since the boundary wall is adjacent to the sealing wall, the boundary wall can penetrate by the rotational movement in the sealing wall, thus opening the adjacent chamber. Separate opening of the two chambers is eliminated.
  • the boundary wall has projections on one side over at least part of its surface.
  • This embodiment is particularly advantageous for containers in which an adjacent chamber is closed by a sealing wall.
  • the projections can thereby simplify the penetration of the boundary wall in the sealing wall. If the sealing wall is detached from the chamber by rotation of the boundary wall, then the projections can serve as a holder for the severed sealing wall.
  • This embodiment is particularly advantageous for containers in which the chambers are detachable from each other. By separating the sealing wall by rotating the boundary wall and holding the sealing wall to the boundary wall by means of the projections, the sealing wall can be completely detached from the chamber on which it was provided and removed together with the chamber having the boundary wall.
  • the removal of the sealing wall by rotation of the boundary wall is also possible with a boundary wall on which no projections are provided.
  • the penetration of the boundary wall into the sealing wall and the removal of the sealing wall is caused only by the rotational movement of the boundary wall.
  • the edge of the boundary wall may have a seal.
  • This has the advantage that a component which is held in the chamber, can not escape and the seal is also moved when moving the boundary wall, so that no obstruction of the exit of the component occurs when opening the chamber.
  • a seal independently of the boundary wall on the chamber having the boundary wall.
  • a sealing wall may be provided adjacent to the boundary wall on the chamber having the boundary wall. This additional sealing wall can be removed during the rotation of the boundary wall.
  • a sealing wall for example in the form of a foil or a sheet represents a smaller design effort than the fixing of a sealing ring.
  • the chamber which has the boundary wall, designed so that the boundary wall always rests against the chamber wall during rotation at least with half of its edge.
  • the chamber may thus have the shape of a hemisphere. If the boundary wall is rectangular, the chamber has the shape of a half-cylinder.
  • a sealing ring optionally provided on the boundary wall may be used to scrape off the component from the chamber wall. If no sealing ring is provided on the boundary wall, then the edge of the boundary wall can serve to remove a component from the chamber wall in which it was stored.
  • the at least two chambers are preferably detachably connected to each other. These chambers can be connected to each other by screw or plug connection or placed on each other without entering into a positive connection or adhesion with each other. Due to the solubility of the two chambers from each other they can be stored separately from each other and connected only to mix the components contained in the respective chambers. Separate storage, for example, allows the components to be subject to different storage conditions. For example, one chamber may be stored at low temperatures while the other chamber is stored at room temperature or even higher temperatures. To mix the two components, the two chambers can be attached to each other or at least brought into contact with each other. The chambers are then opened by the rotational movement of the boundary wall and allows entry of the component of a chamber in the other chamber.
  • the boundary wall can represent the bottom of one of the at least two chambers. Thus, during mixing, the contents of the chamber having the boundary wall are transferred to the other chamber.
  • a first chamber having a sealing wall may be connected to a second chamber having a boundary wall.
  • the second chamber may also have a sealing wall on the side facing away from the boundary wall.
  • a third chamber, which has a boundary wall, can thus be placed on this second chamber.
  • An embodiment in which the chambers of the container are permanently connected to one another is advantageous, for example, for highly volatile components.
  • the chambers each form a closed space. Due to the rotation of the boundary wall, in this embodiment, only the interiors of the two chambers are opened to one another or a sealing wall provided between the chambers is opened and optionally transported or disposed of in one of the chambers. However, the total space formed by the rotation and possibly thereby caused opening or severing of a sealing wall can still be completed with respect to the environment.
  • the invention can be used, for example, for the mixing of food immediately before consumption. Furthermore, the invention can also be used for the preparation of a paint, lacquer or adhesive mixture or for the mixture of chemicals, for example for triggering a reaction. Furthermore, the present invention can be used in the field of microbiology. In particular, anaerobic cultivation systems can be created. A mixing of substances that may not be exposed to light is possible with the container according to the invention. If the two chambers are made of an opaque material, the substances stored therein can be mixed with each other with the exclusion of light.
  • the invention thus also relates to the use of the container for different areas.
  • the invention relates to the use of the container for food.
  • the ingredients for iced coffee, cocktails, muesli and the like can be stored in the different chambers of the container and stored according to their nature.
  • the storage of salad in one chamber and the salad dressing in another chamber or the storage of ingredients for a salad dressing in different chambers is possible with the container according to the invention. Only upon actuation of the boundary wall and the opening of the chambers, these components are then mixed together. This type of mixing complies with the high demands placed on hygiene in the food industry.
  • the container according to the invention can thus be used separately for foods, in particular for drinks and other foods, or in combination with one another.
  • the container may be used for alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages or a combination.
  • a non-alcoholic beverage in one of the chambers of the container and to store another non-alcoholic beverage or alcoholic beverage for mixing with the beverage in the first chamber in a second chamber.
  • the drinks can then be mixed together before serving or before consumption.
  • non-alcoholic beverages such as dairy products
  • other beverages or foods with the container according to the invention.
  • dry, liquid, gelatinous or solid food can be stored in at least one of the chambers of the container according to the invention and mixed with a component which is stored separately in a further chamber of the container according to the invention.
  • the further component may be a drink or another foodstuff.
  • the container according to the invention can be used to store components or constituents of the most varied types and also in the different states of aggregation in separate chambers and, if necessary, to bring them into contact and mix.
  • the invention relates to the use of the container for medical purposes.
  • the container according to the invention an accurate dosage of individual components of a drug can be realized and the individual components are stored separately.
  • the invention relates to the use of the container for chemical substances.
  • the chemical substances may be, for example, paints or lacquers or their components.
  • the container according to the invention for example, the portioning of individual components can be reliably maintained and so, for example, a desired shade can be achieved.
  • the container according to the invention also ensures a simple mixing of the components.
  • Chemical substances which can be ideally mixed with the container according to the invention are, for example, substances which, upon contact, perform a fluorescence reaction.
  • the container according to the invention is made in this case of transparent material and can serve as a lamp.
  • FIG. 1 a first embodiment of a container 1 according to the invention is shown.
  • this has two chambers 10 and 11 which are permanently connected to each other.
  • the container 1 has a cylindrical shape in the illustrated embodiment.
  • the height of the chambers 10 and 11 corresponds to half the height of the container 1.
  • the chambers 10, 11 are separated by a boundary wall 12 from each other.
  • This boundary wall 12 is rotatably mounted about a rotation axis 13.
  • the axis of rotation 13 is perpendicular to the height of the container 1 and passes through the center of the cross section of the container 1. In the illustrated embodiment, the axis of rotation 13 is thus diametrically.
  • an operating lever 15 is provided, which is connected to the boundary wall 12 and over which the boundary wall 12 can be moved.
  • a seal for example in the form of a sealing ring 14, may be provided on the edge of the boundary wall 12.
  • the boundary wall 12 is the only separation between the chambers 10, 11 represents.
  • the two chambers 10 and 11 are separate components of the container 1.
  • the chambers 10 and 11 each have a cylindrical construction.
  • the chambers 10 and 11 consist essentially of a vessel which comprises an end face and the lateral surface of the respective chamber 11, 10.
  • a sealing wall 16 is arranged, which prevents leakage of the component 10 provided in the chamber.
  • This sealing wall 16 may be a film, for example made of plastic, paper, aluminum or a sheet. In particular, the abovementioned materials can also be used coated.
  • the bottom of the vessel is closed by a boundary wall 12.
  • the opposite end face, that is, the lid of the second chamber 11 is also closed and is preferably integrally formed with the lateral surface of the chamber 11.
  • the boundary wall 12 is rotatably mounted about the rotation axis 13. By the rotation of the boundary wall 12 thus the chamber 11 can be opened.
  • the axis of rotation 13 is perpendicular to the height of the chamber 11 and through the center of the cross section of the chamber 11.
  • this has at its periphery projections 17, which in the figures are indicated as teeth on.
  • the projections 17 are provided in the illustrated embodiment only on one half of the circumference, but may also be present over the entire circumference.
  • the projections 17 of the boundary wall 12 can engage with the sealing wall. But it is also possible to arrange the boundary wall 12 at a small distance to the bottom of the chamber 11, so that when placing the chamber 11 on the lower chamber 10, the projections 17 still have no contact with the sealing wall 16 of the lower chamber 10. This can be particularly advantageous in chambers 10, 11, which are connected to one another via a screw connection. For this purpose, in each case a thread can be provided on the outside of the one and inside of the other chamber 10, 11. But it is also possible to connect the two chambers 10, 11 via a latching connection, for example by latching lugs and locking recesses with each other.
  • the sealing wall 16 is held on the boundary wall 12 and is at a rotation of the boundary wall 12 by a total angle of 360 ° at the top of the boundary wall 12 before. From this position, the separated sealing wall 16 can be removed or the entire chamber 11 can be removed.
  • FIG. 5 is indicated by the dashed semicircle an alternative form of the upper chamber 11.
  • the boundary wall 12 sweeps along the inside of the chamber 11 throughout its rotation, thereby ensuring complete removal of the component from the chamber 11.
  • a chamber 10 pre-brewed coffee is stored. This can be heated in a microwave.
  • ice cream can be stored. This is stored in the freezer. If an iced coffee is now to be made, the two chambers 10, 11 can be attached to one another or at least placed on one another. At the chamber 11, is stored in the ice cream, the bottom is formed by the rotatable boundary wall 12.
  • the chamber 10 in which the coffee is stored, the lid or the sealing wall 16 is formed by an aluminum foil.
  • the boundary wall 12 is rotated about its axis of rotation 13, the ice cream can penetrate into the lower chamber 10 with the coffee via the semicircular opening in the sealing wall 16. If the shape of the upper chamber 11 chosen so that it forms a hemisphere, at the bottom of the boundary wall 12 is provided, the edge of the boundary wall 12 is guided on the chamber wall of the chamber 11 along. The ice cream is thus pushed by the boundary wall 12. When rotated by 360 °, the chamber 11 is completely empty and the sealing wall 16, which had completed the lower chamber 10, is located in the upper chamber eleventh
  • the upper chamber 11 can be removed and the lower chamber 10 has the mixture of the two components, coffee and ice cream.
  • the shape of the chambers may differ from the illustrated shape.
  • the chambers may have a height varying over the cross section.
  • the chambers can rejuvenate or expand. It is also possible to use chambers with a rectangular or other cross-section.
  • the chambers, which are releasably connected to each other, may have different shapes. Only the cross section at the contact surface, at which the two chambers are brought into contact, agrees here.
