Fig. 1 zeigt schematisch einen Querschnitt durch eine erfindungsgemäße Störungsanzeigevorrichtung. Dadurch wird die federwärts gewandte Seite des Kolbens 4 mit Unterdruck beaufschlagt. Die Störungsanzeigevorrichtung ist so am Staubsauger angeordnet, dass Sichtfenster und Kunststofflinse nach Außen hin sichtbar sind und die eine Seite des Kolbengehäuses mit der Luft der Atmosphäre in Verbindung steht, während die andere Seite des Kolbengehäuses 1 mit einem Staubsaugerraum in Verbindung steht, in dem während der Inbetriebnahme des Staubsaugers Unterdruck herrscht. Durch diese Anordnung im Staubsauger wird der Kolben 4 mit einer Druckdifferenz beaufschlagt, welche ihn im Kolbengehäuse in Richtung der Schraubenfeder drückt. Durch den stark erhöhten Unterdruck wird der Kolben 4 gegen die Schraubenfeder 5 in Richtung des Sichtfensters 2 verschoben. Dagegen steigt die Noppe 6 auf der dem Kolben 4 abgewandten Seite sehr flach bis zu ihrer endgültigen Höhe an. Der glatte Abfall des kolbenseitigen Endes der Noppe 6 dient dazu, den Kolben im Inneren des Kolbengehäuses zu fixieren. Er kann des Weiteren als Abdichtung des Kolbens dienen. Der flache Anstieg der dem Kolben 4 abgewandten Seite der Noppe 6 gewährleistet, dass der Kolben bei der Montage der Störungsanzeigevorrichtung über die Noppe in das Kolbengehäuse eingeführt werden kann, ohne die Noppe 6 dabei zu beschädigen. Die Seiten des Kolbengehäuses 1 sind so verlängert, dass sie über den Kolben 4 hinausragen und somit als zusätzliche Dichtflächen 8 dienen.
