Die Zeichnung zeigt in den verschiedenen Figuren jeweils einen Bürostuhl 20 mit einem Sitz 21 und einer Rückenlehne 22. Wie Fig. 1 zeigt, weist der Bürostuhl 20 eine Stuhlsäule 23 auf, an deren unterem Ende ein hier nicht dargestelltes Fußkreuz mit Laufrollen angeordnet sein kann. Am oberen Ende der Stuhlsäule 23 ist ein Basisträger 4 befestigt. An diesem ist ein Rückenlehnenträger 3 gelenkig gelagert. Der Sitz 21 ruht auf einem Sitzträger 1, der mit dem Rückenlehnenträger 3 über zwei Hebel 7 und 6 gelenkig verbunden ist. Der Basisträger 4 und der Hebel 7 weisen jeweils eine Verzahnung 4.1 und 7.1 auf, die ineinander greifen. Die Verzahnungen 4.1 und 7.1 liegen jeweils auf Kreisbogen, sodass der Hebel 7 mit seiner Verzahnung 4.1 auf der Verzahnung 4.1 des Basisträgers 4 wie das Zahnrad eines Planetengetriebes abrollen kann, wenn er verschwenkt wird. Über die Verzahnungen 4.1 und 7.1 ist somit der Hebel 7 und damit die gesamte aus dem Rückenlehnenträger 3, dem Sitzträger 1 und den beiden Hebel in 6, 7 bestehende Synchronmechanik für Sitz 21 und Rückenlehne 22 zwangsgeführt.The drawing shows in the various figures each an

Je weiter oben sich der Anlenkpunkt 9 befindet, umso stärker ist das Federelement 8 vorgespannt, d. h. umso stärker ist die Kraft, die benötigt wird, die Rückenlehne 22 nach hinten abzusenken. Für leichtere Personen ist es daher zweckmäßig, den Anlenkpunkt 9 gegenüber der in Fig. 1 gezeigten Position nach unten zu verschieben. Damit sich die einmal gewählte Positionen des Anlenkpunkts 9 bezüglich des Hebels 7 nicht mehr verschiebt, wenn der Hebel 7 durch Absenken der Rückenlehne 22 verschwenkt wird, ist ein Klemmhebel 5 mit einer Kulissenführung 5.1 vorgesehen. Der Klemmhebel 5 weist ebenfalls eine Verzahnung auf, in die das Zahnrad des Anlenkpunkts 9 eingreift. In die Kulissenführung 5.1 ragt ein Bolzen oder dergleichen des Rückenlehnenträgers 3 hinein. Dadurch wird der Hebel 5 parallel zum Hebel 7 mit verschwenkt, wenn die Rückenlehne 22 abgesenkt wird, und klemmt den Anlenkpunkt 9 in seiner Position fest.Fig. 1 shows the
