Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a carton blank for a container for receiving and transporting fast food, in particular a doner bag.

The term "carton blank" also includes materials other than cardboard as well as plastic-coated materials.

Such a container made of cardboard is known from utility model 201 18 553.9.

However, this container has the disadvantage that it is delivered in finished form, so it takes away a lot of space in the offices of the kebab seller. In addition, the known container is formed in two parts, namely a lower and a lid part.

A coming closer to the invention carton blank is from the WO 96/38342 A known.

However, this carton blank is designed and intended for a particular product and for a single use.

Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a carton blank that can be folded in a simple manner before packaging the food (doner) to a stable container, the lid is part of the blank and thus also in simple way to close the container is used and can be created by the multiple container variants without changing the blank.

Such a configuration has the advantage that on the basis of a single blank more container variants can be created.

A third alternative of this blank is that partial triangles are folded out of the triangular sections on both sides of the rectangular front wall, such that the outline of the front wall likewise becomes trapezoidal as the rear wall. In this case, the alternative folded edge is folded inward in the respective triangular section, so that an approximately funnel-shaped container is formed.

As stated above, the lid can be fixed by means of a tab which is inserted between the inside of the front wall and the folded-in partial triangles.

According to claim 2, however, it is provided that a lug is provided at the front edge of the cover part arranged on the tab, which is insertable into a Einsteckschlitz in the front walls connected to the side walls.

In this embodiment, the tab is pushed over the outside of the front wall, and inserted the insertion lug in the slot provided in the front wall.

In the rear wall (7) two obliquely extending slots (16) are provided in the nose-shaped ends (17) of the free edges of the side walls (5) arranged to folding edges (18) hinged tabs (19) can be inserted.

First, the side walls (5) from the bottom part (2) are folded towards each other. The triangular sections (9) are folded around the bisecting line (10) or the folded edge (11) located therein inwards towards the bottom part (2), so that two congruent sub-triangles lie on top of each other. The nose-shaped ends (17) on the tabs (19) are inserted into the slots (16). Thus, the receptacle is already completed.

Now, the lid part (14) is folded over the container opening, and the flap (15) arranged thereon is inserted between the inside of the front wall (6) and the folded-on partial triangles of the triangular sections (9), so that the container is closed.

The front wall (6) is rectangular.

In the triangular sections (9) folding edges (11 ', 11 ") are folded symmetrically about the perpendicular bisector (10) upwards out of the plane of the paper, and a folded edge (20) is provided opposite the folding direction of the folded edges (11', 11 ") is foldable.

The cover part (14) is trapezoidal in this case.

This blank can be assembled in several ways.

On the one hand, by normal insertion of the nose-shaped ends in the slots (16) creates a container whose Front wall (6) rectangular and the rear wall (7) is trapezoidal in shape, so that the side walls (5) taper from the rear wall to the front wall. This results in a trapezoidal opening, which can be closed by the trapezoidal lid (14). In this case, the folded edge (20) is not used and only in each case the folded edge (11 '') folded inwards.

The second possibility is not to put the nose-shaped ends (17) in the slots (16) but to push each other towards one another or to push them into the widened slots (16) to form a somewhat smaller container with a rectangular upper opening, the folded edges (20) are also not used and only the folded edge (11 '') is folded inwards.

In this embodiment, both the trapezoidal rear wall (7) and the trapezoidal cover part (14) is laterally over. Such a container is closed as in the just described example by inserting the tab (15) into the intermediate space between the inside of the front wall (6) and the folded-on partial triangles of the triangular sections (9).

A third possibility of mating is that now the folding edges (20) are used to make in this way the front wall (6) to the trapezoid.

Now the folded edge (11 ') is used and folded inwards, thus creating a container whose front wall (6) and the rear wall (7) are both trapezoidal, so that a funnel-shaped configuration is formed.

Not shown in the drawing is the possibility that on the tab (15) a lug is provided which is inserted after folding the tab on the front of the front wall (6) in a slot which is located in this front wall (6).

Claims (2)

1. Carton blank (1) for a container for holding and transporting fast food, in particular, a kebab carton with a rectangular base part (2), from which four wall parts capable of being folded towards one another in pairs about folding edges (3, 4), namely two side walls (5), one front wall (6) and one rear wall (7), extend,
   wherein at least the side walls (5) extending from the narrow sides of the rectangular base part (2) widen in the shape of a trapeze towards their outer edge (8),
   the front wall (6) extends from the long side of the base part (2) and is connected via approximately-triangular portions (9) to the side walls (5), wherein at least one folding edge (11', 11") is provided symmetrically to the bisecting line (10) of the respective triangle or along this bisecting line, which can be folded against the folding direction of the folding edges (12) of the sides of the triangle,
   the rear wall (7) extends from the long side of the base part (2), on the upper edge (13) facing away from the base part (2) of which a lid part (14) is arranged in a manner capable of being folded in the direction towards the base part (2),
   and the lid part (14) merges into a flap (19) also capable of being folded towards the base part (2),
   characterised in that
   in the rear wall (7), two slots (16) are provided, into which nose-shaped ends (17) of flaps (19) disposed on the free side-wall edges and capable of being folded about folding edges (18) can be inserted,
   and the front wall (6), which is disposed opposite to the trapeze-shaped rear wall (7) provided with slots (16), is designed in a rectangular manner, wherein, in the triangular portions (9), in each case, two additional folding edges (11', 11" , 20) are provided, in such a manner that, by a corresponding folding of these edges (11', 11" , 20), the front wall (6) receives a rectangular or trapeze-shaped outline corresponding to the rear wall (7), wherein two of the folding edges (11', 11") extend symmetrically to the bisecting line (10) of the respective triangular portion (9).
2. The carton blank according to claim 1,
   characterised in that,
   on the front edge of the flap (15) disposed on the lid part (14), an insertion nose is provided, which can be inserted into an insertion slot in the front wall (6) connected to the side walls (5).
