Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for retaining and adjusting in longitudinal position of a binding on a snowboard on snow such as a ski or the like.
  • the boot of the skier in the case of a so-called alpine type ski, is held on the ski so as to be triggerable, by its front end, by a front safety fastener commonly called a “stop” and, its rear end, and in particular its heel, thanks to a rear safety fastener commonly called “heel”.
  • the boot must, in a position of restraint on the ski, be in a precise and precise longitudinal position on the ski, to allow proper skiing practice.
  • the manufacturers affix in the manufacture of skis to make a marking, which must correspond to the middle of the sole of the shoe, when it is retained on the ski.
  • ski boot manufacturers indicate by marking the middle of the shoe.
  • the front and rear bindings must be fixed to the ski in determined longitudinal positions, so that the middle of the shoe matches the marking made on the ski.
  • the manufacturers have developed adjustment means, particularly for the rental market, allowing the merchant to adjust the position of the fastener or fasteners, with ease, and without requiring special tools. These devices are often such that the operating member for adjustment is placed at the front end of the base of the fastener,
  • this type of device has a number of disadvantages, including being in a position that allows inadvertent unlocking, such as during a shock caused by the ski, or any other object.
  • a device for retaining and adjusting in longitudinal position of a binding on a ski comprises an ejectable wedge interposed between a bearing surface and a portion of the latch so as to normally hold the latch in its unlocked position in which its tooth is spaced apart from the locking notches and to allow locking of the latch by engagement of his tooth in one of the notches following the ejection of the hold.
  • the adjustment means disclosed by this document has the disadvantage of not being able to replace the shim after removing it. Indeed, this device has no means for the wedge to be reintroduced for unlocking the lock.
  • the present invention aims to solve the disadvantages of adjustment devices known to date by providing a particularly simple and reliable device, which allows to easily separate the binding of the ski, and store it independently of the ski.
  • the tool required for adjustment being removable and being a simple rod. Which is particularly interesting for the rental market.

  • the central part of the support part constituting the sliding slide for fixing comprises a longitudinal central cut, which comprises a vertical toothing intended to cooperate with a corresponding toothing of a movable latch mounted on the base of the corresponding attachment.
  • the latch comprises an upwardly extending retaining projection comprising the transverse locking hole for receiving the transverse rod of the locking tool, while the base of the attachment comprises at least one bearing zone. on which the rod of the removable tool is supported in the position of the lock according to which the fastener is unlocked from the support piece.
  • the transverse locking hole of the latch is partly hidden by the bearing zones and partly unobstructed allowing the introduction of the tool shank with its tapered end, in other words, the lower part of the latch locking transverse hole is located below the horizontal plane of the support zones, while the upper part of the latch locking transverse hole is located above the horizontal plane of the support zones, and this to leave free a passage for the introduction of the tool .
  • the support piece is a piece which extends longitudinally to form a slide for the base of the fastener, the lower part is of complementary shape.
  • the figure 1 is a side view of a ski equipped with the retaining fasteners of the front and rear shoe, comprising the device of the invention, the shoe being in the ski practice of holding position.
