Claims (19)

  1. Device (1) for packaging a product including an external shell (3), a container (2) forming at least one housing adapted to receive the product, this container being retained inside the external shell, and a closure member (4) adapted to be retained on the container to close the latter, the external shell including a through-window (13) formed through a neck (28) of the external shell, characterized in that a lateral exterior step (12) on the container is engaged in the through window (13) so as to retain the container in the external shell.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the step (12) is annular and the neck (28) defines a recessed internal surface outside the annular area in which the window (13) is formed.
  3. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the neck is configured so that the closure member (4) includes a skirt (8) masking said window (13) in position when assembled onto the container (2).
  4. Device according to Claim 3, characterized in that the neck (28) includes at least two radially opposed windows (13).
  5. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the external shell (3) is obtained by moulding.
  6. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the container (2) is obtained by moulding.
  7. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the external shell (3) is produced in a transparent material.
  8. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the step (12) includes a radially upstanding face (17) at the exterior perimeter of the container and a second face (19) forming a slope configured to facilitate insertion of the container (2) into the external shell (3) and respectively to facilitate placement of the step (12) in the window (13).
  9. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that outside the area in which the window (13) is formed, the radial thickness (31) of the neck (28) is less than the difference between the radial thickness (29) of the neck in the region of the window and the radial thickness (30) of the step.
  10. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the neck (28) upstands on a portion (32) of the lateral wall of the external shell (3) so that the radial thickness of that lateral wall is of the order of the sum of the radial thickness of the neck (28) and the radial thickness of the skirt (8) of the closure member (4).
  11. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the skirt (8) of the closure member (4) is defined by a generatrix identical to that of the lateral exterior perimeter (21) of the external shell (3).
  12. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    - the step (12) projects radially beyond the exterior perimeter of the container by 0.4 mm,
    - the neck (28) has a radial thickness (29) of 1 mm in the region of the window (13) and a radial thickness (31) of 0.6 mm outside the area in which the window is formed, and in that
    - the skirt (8) of the closure member (4) has a radial thickness of 1 mm.
  13. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the closure member (4) includes a sealing lip (38) pressed against the interior perimeter of the container (2) when it is mounted on the container.
  14. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the closure member (4) is pressed onto the neck (28) when it is mounted on the container (2).
  15. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the closure member (4) is retained by stretching it onto the exterior perimeter of the container (2).
  16. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that cooperative means (60, 61) are provided between the external shell (3) and the closure member (4) to immobilize them against rotation relative to each other when the closure member (4) is permanently mounted on the container (2).
  17. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the closure member (4) is retained by screwing it onto the exterior perimeter of the container (2).
  18. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the closure member (4) is equipped with means (39) for dispensing the product contained in the container (2).
  19. Device according to Claim 18, characterized in that the dispensing means (39) consist of a pump with no air inlet and in that the container (2) is equipped with a piston (41).
