Abstract
Laserzündvorrichtung für eine Brennkraftmaschine (1) mit einer Laserlichterzeugungsvorrichtung (3) und einem Brennraumfenster (7, 7'), durch das Laserlicht (5) zur Zündung eines brennbaren Gemisches in einen Brennraum (11) der Brennkraftmaschine (1) einbringbar ist, wobei die Laserlichterzeugungsvorrichtung (3) dazu geeignet ist, Laserlicht mit einer Intensität (1) von höchstens 0,15 mJ/mm2 oder von mindestens 3 mJ/mm2 in den Brennraum (11) einzubringen, wobei die Intensität (I) auf einer dem Brennraum (11) zugewandten Seite des sauberen Brennraumfensters (7, 7') erzielbar ist. Laser ignition device for an internal combustion engine (1) with a laser light generating device (3) and a combustion chamber window (7, 7 ') through which the laser light (5) for igniting a combustible mixture in a combustion chamber (11) of the internal combustion engine (1) can be introduced, the Laser light generating device (3) is adapted to introduce laser light having an intensity (1) of at most 0.15 mJ / mm 2 or at least 3 mJ / mm 2 in the combustion chamber (11), wherein the intensity (I) on a combustion chamber (11) facing side of the clean combustion chamber window (7, 7 ') can be achieved.
