Abstract

Laserzündvorrichtung für eine Brennkraftmaschine (1) mit einer Laserlichterzeugungsvorrichtung (3) und einem Brennraumfenster (7, 7'), durch das Laserlicht (5) zur Zündung eines brennbaren Gemisches in einen Brennraum (11) der Brennkraftmaschine (1) einbringbar ist, wobei die Laserlichterzeugungsvorrichtung (3) dazu geeignet ist, Laserlicht mit einer Intensität (1) von höchstens 0,15 mJ/mm2 oder von mindestens 3 mJ/mm2 in den Brennraum (11) einzubringen, wobei die Intensität (I) auf einer dem Brennraum (11) zugewandten Seite des sauberen Brennraumfensters (7, 7') erzielbar ist.
