- the ampoule in particular contains a pharmaceutical composition, such as a medicine.
- 10 denotes the label as a whole.
- This label comprises a top sheet 11 and a bottom sheet 12 located beneath it.
- a carrier web 13 also referred to as backing sheet 13, extends beneath the bottom sheet 12.
- a carrier web 13 of this type is a long strip on which a plurality of labels 10 are provided.

- a release layer 32 is located between the top sheet 11 and the bottom sheet 12.
- the top sheet 11 is stuck to the release layer 32 by means of its bottom surface via a self-adhesive layer 33.
- This release layer 32 is in turn fixed, over its entire underside, to the top surface 14 of the bottom sheet 12.
- the release layer 32 is in this case permanently, i.e. in normal use of the label substantially undetachably, attached to the bottom sheet 12, for example by an adhesive layer or in some other way.
- an identical or similar adhesive can be used for both the self-adhesive layer 16 and the self-adhesive layer 33.
- an identical or similar adhesive can be used for both the self-adhesive layer 16 and the self-adhesive layer 33.
- the label 10 has an extent in the width direction which is denoted by double arrow W and also an extent in the height direction, denoted by double arrow H.
- two tear lines 19 and 20 are provided in the top sheet 11. These tear lines extend over the entire height direction H. These tear lines 19 and 20 are composed of perforations which extend through the top sheet 11 in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the drawing of Figure 2.
- the top sheet is also provided with a lip 23. That part 21 of the top sheet which is located between the tear lines 19 and 20 can be removed by means of this lip. This part 21 is referred to by the term "removable part 21".
- FIG. 5 shows a label 10, 40 (the label 40 is described in more detail below, but the difference is not visible in Figure 5).
- the label 10, 40 has been stuck to a cylindrical object 70 with a diameter D of preferably at most 25 mm, such as at most 15 mm.
- the removable part 21 or 51 is in this case shown in a state in which it has been detached from the remainder of the label, i.e. is located separately next to the cylindrical container 70.
- this removable part 21 can immediately - i.e. without a release layer also having to be removed - be stuck to another object, such as a patient's notes or a syringe.
- Figures 3 and 4 show another embodiment of a label according to the invention.
- the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2 and the embodiment shown in Figures 3 and 4 differ substantially at two points.
- the tear lines 19, 20 in Figures 1 and 2 are designed differently from the corresponding tear lines 49 and 50 in Figures 3 and 4.
- the release layer 32 in Figures 1 and 2 is designed differently from the release layer 52 in Figures 3 and 4.
- the tear lines 49 and 50 of label 40 can also be used for the label 10 shown in Figures 1 and 2 without any further changes being made to this label 10; and that the tear lines 19 and 20 of label 10 can also be used for the label 40 shown in Figures 3 and 4 without further changes to this label 40.
- the release layer 52 shown in Figures 3 and 4 forms a particularly preferred embodiment of the label according to the invention.
- the release layer 32 is a separate sheet located between the top sheet 11 and the bottom sheet 12. Consequently, the label 10 is noticeably thicker in the central zone 36. This noticeable increased thickness is made clear in Figure 1.
- the release layer 52 is not a sheet, but rather is a coating of a suitable release material provided on the bottom sheet 42. A coating of this type is much thinner and will result in little if any difference in thickness at the location of the central zone 66. This is illustrated in Figure 3 by the top sheet 41 being depicted as a straight line.
- top sheet 41 will be adhesively bonded to the bottom sheet 42 in the edge zones 65, preferably by means of the same adhesive layer 63 as used in the central zone 66. In the edge zones, however, there is no release material provided on the bottom sheet 42, and consequently the top sheet 41 here will remain permanently bonded to the bottom sheet 42.
- the release layer 52 in the form of a coating can easily be realized by being applied by means of a printing technique as if it were a layer of ink, with a silicone-like or silicone-containing material then being used as the ink.
- tear lines 49 and 50 shown in Figures 3 and 4 likewise form a particularly preferred embodiment of the label according to the invention. As has already been stated, this particular embodiment can also be designed with a different release layer from the one which has just been described with reference to Figures 3 and 4.
- first and second tear lines are designed as tear lines comprising a series of J-shaped perforations 54 in the case of the first tear line 50 and a series of S-shaped perforations 55 in the case of the second tear line 49.
- each J-shaped perforation comprises a first straight segment 56 extending in the tear line direction, with a first bend segment 57 located at one of its ends.
- This first bend segment 57 is of curved design and bends in towards the removable part 51.
- This first bend segment is provided at that end of the straight segment 56 which faces towards the edge 52 of the label 40.
- This edge 52 is also the edge from which the lip 53 projects.
- the bend segment 57 is provided at that end of the straight segment 56 which is located closest to the lip 53.
- the second tear line 49 is composed of a series of S-shaped perforations 55.
- Each S-shaped perforation comprises a second straight segment 58 with a second bend segment 59, which bends towards the removable part (i.e. bends into the removable part 51), located at that end of said straight segment 58 which faces towards the lip 53.
- the second straight segment has a third bend segment which bends away from the removable part 51.
- one edge of the lip 53 precisely adjoins the second tear line 49.
- this edge of the lip 53 is straight, but it could also, like the other edge, have an inclined profile or even a curved profile.
- the perforation 67 which adjoins the lip 53 is a J-shaped perforation with a straight segment which adjoins the lip 53 at the top end and has a bend segment 68 bending away from the removable part 51 at the bottom end.
- the first tear line 50 has a straight perforation 69 as its top perforation.
- the top part 51 When the lip 53 is then pulled, the top part 51 will start to tear off along the first J-shaped perforation 67 of the second tear line 49.
- the way in which this perforation 67 adjoins the lip 53 is important with a view to preventing the removable part from becoming torn. Since the lip 53 is located at the edge of the removable part 51, when the latter is being torn off a force exerted on the tear lines will not extend precisely in the tear line direction, but rather obliquely with respect thereto. As a result, the perforations tend to tear at the transitions between the perforations.
- a similar but slightly different phenomenon occurs at the other side, i.e. at the first tear line 50.
- the removable part is in each case prone to tearing at a transition from one perforation to another.
- This tearing of the removable part is now prevented by deliberately initiating it at the top, inwardly bent bend segment 57 of each subsequent perforation.
- the top bend segment 57 bends into the straight segment 56 of the associated perforation, the tearing of the removable part, which will initially be oblique, is diverted along the desired straight tear line by the perforation itself.
- the top perforation 59 may likewise be designed as a J-shaped perforation in the same way as the perforation 54. It should also be noted that the top perforation 67 of the second tear line 49 may also be designed as an S-shaped perforation like the perforation 55.
- the bend segments 57, 59, 60 and 68 run along a continuously curved line prevents sharp transitions, which could initiate crack formation. It is also preferable for the directional coefficient of the bend segments, at the free end thereof, to extend at a tear line angle a with respect to the respective tear line, which is in the range from 35 to 55°, preferably in the range from 40 to 50°. In the example shown in Figure 4, the angle ⁇ is 45°.
- the top sheet is in particular made from polypropylene. This material is very good at preventing the removable part from tearing if J-shaped and S-shaped perforations are used.

Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to a label according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- More particularly, the present invention relates to what is known as a flag label. Flag labels are used inter alia in the pharmaceutical industry for the purpose of labelling medicines. A flag label is a self-adhesive label from which, after the label has been stuck to a product, the "flag" part can easily be removed for further use. The "flag" part is often of self-adhesive design, so that the "flag" part can be used elsewhere as a self-adhesive label after it has been removed. The flag label may be provided, for example, on an ampoule. When the ampoule is broken open, the "flag" part can then be removed in order to be stuck, for example, to a syringe or a patient's notes. In this way, the medicine which has been used remains apparent and is easier to trace and administer.
- Labels according to the preamble of Claim 1 are known, for example from the Applicant's
EP 1 195 735 . This label has a bottom sheet 5 and a top sheet 3 stuck to it. On the underside, the bottom sheet is provided with a self-adhesive layer, by means of which it can be stuck to a substrate, such as a container 29. The top sheet has atear strip 12, which is delimited by twotear lines 13 and can be torn off by means of a lip. After the tear strip has been torn off, the removable part initially remains attached to the label and therefore secured to the container. The removable part can be removed from (the remainder of) the label by being torn off the top sheet along yet another tear line 7. Then, the removable part is detached from the top sheet together with a backing sheet provided between the bottom sheet and top sheet. The removable part is releasably bonded to the backing sheet, which acts as a release sheet, by means of a self-adhesive layer, in order that it can then be removed from the backing sheet and stuck to a further object. - It must be possible for the removable part, which forms the flag part, to be quickly, easily and reliably removed from the label. For example, if a label of this type is being used for medicaments in a hospital environment, it will be clear that the physician or nursing staff are primarily paying attention to the patient, and need minimum possible diversion through actions carried out on a label.
- One drawback of the label according to
EP 1 195 735 is that it requires a relatively large number of actions before the removable part is detached from (the remainder of) the label and can be stuck elsewhere. - Therefore, the object of the invention is to provide an improved label with a removable part which can be removed quickly, easily and reliably and then stuck elsewhere.
- According to the invention, this object is achieved by providing a label, comprising a top sheet and a bottom sheet, wherein the label extends along a width direction and a height direction running transversely to the width direction; wherein the bottom sheet has a bottom surface and a top surface; wherein the bottom surface of the bottom sheet is provided with a self-adhesive layer for sticking to a substrate; wherein the top sheet has a bottom surface and a top surface; wherein the top sheet is adhesively bonded to the bottom sheet with the bottom surface of the top sheet facing towards the top surface of the bottom sheet; wherein the top sheet comprises a first tear line and a second tear line, which lie at a distance from one another in the width direction and extend over the height of the label; wherein that part of the top sheet which is located between said tear lines is a removable part which can be torn off the top sheet by tearing along the tear lines and can thereby be removed from the label; wherein a release layer is located between the removable part and the bottom sheet, to which release layer the removable part is releasably bonded by a self-adhesive layer which is provided on the bottom surface of the removable part, characterized in that the release layer is permanently attached to the bottom sheet. Then, after it has been torn off, the removable part is immediately available as a self-adhesive label for further use. In this way, the removable part can be stuck to another object immediately after it has been torn out of the top sheet, without a release layer first having to be removed. This is because the release layer has remained behind on the bottom sheet. The term "permanently attached to the bottom sheet" is therefore to be understood as meaning that during normal use of the label said release layer remains fixed to the bottom sheet.
- According to the invention, it is advantageous if the release layer is a coating applied to the bottom sheet. A coating of this type is significantly thinner than a release sheet and results in a label with a completely flat top sheet. This facilitates automatic processing of the label, for example its use for the automated labelling of products.
- In connection with the release properties, it is in this context advantageous for the coating to comprise a silicone-like material, in particular a silicone material.
- According to the invention, it is also advantageous if the coating is applied using a printing technique in a similar way to a layer of ink. Printing techniques of this type are already available for the production of labels and are eminently suitable for the application of a coating with release properties.
- To further prevent the removable part from tearing, according to the invention it is also advantageous if the top sheet is made from a plastics material. According to the invention, it is in this case also advantageous if the plastics material is a polypropylene or a polyester. These plastics materials, among which in particular polypropylene is preferred, have good tearing properties.
- With a view to making it easy to tear off the removable part, according to the invention it is advantageous if the top sheet is at most 75 µm thick, for example at most 50 µm.
- With a view to allowing the removable part to be torn off quickly while preventing the removable part itself from tearing when it is being torn off, according to the invention it is advantageous if the removable part, at a first edge extending in the width direction of the label, comprises a lip which projects in the height direction of the label and is provided at, in particular adjacent to, the second tear line; if the first tear line comprises a series of J-shaped perforations; and wherein the second tear line comprises a series of S-shaped perforations; if the J-shaped perforations in each case comprise a first straight segment extending in the tear line direction with a first bend segment, which bends into the removable part, at that end of said first straight segment which faces towards said first edge; if the S-shaped perforations in each case comprise a second straight segment extending in the tear line direction and having:
- a second bend segment, which bends towards the removable part, at that end of said second straight segment which faces towards said first edge; and
- a third bend segment, which bends away from the removable part, at that end of said second straight segment which faces away from said first edge.
- According to an advantageous further embodiment of the invention, as seen in the width direction of the label, the third bend segments in each case at least partially overlap second bend segments of adjacent S-shaped perforations in the series of S-shaped perforations. This overlap minimizes the risk of the removable part being torn at the location of the unperforated web between two perforations. Should any such tearing be initiated at the location of such a web, the tear will begin from the third bend segment and will stop as soon as it reaches the overlapping second bend segment, which is located at a lower position as seen in the tearing direction.
- According to the invention, it is also advantageous if the length of the first straight segment of the first J-shaped perforation, as seen in the tearing direction, is shorter than the length of the first straight segment of the second J-shaped perforation, as seen in the tearing direction; and/or the length of the second straight segment of the first S-shaped perforation, as seen in the tearing direction, is shorter than the length of the second straight segment of the second S-shaped perforation, as seen in the tearing direction. The advantage of both measures is that this facilitates the start of the tearing-off action. It is preferable to use both these measures at the same time.
- To counteract initiation of tearing of the removable part of the bend segments, according to the invention it is advantageous if the instantaneous tangent on the free end of the first and/or second and/or third bend segment in each case runs at a tear line angle with respect to the respective tear line, which tear line angle is in the range from 35° to 55°, preferably in the range from 40° to 50°. According to the present invention, this tear line angle is preferably about 45°.
- To achieve a removed part that is of neat appearance and is easy to handle, according to the invention it is also advantageous if the first tear line and second tear line run parallel to one another.
- To make the removed part, when the label has been torn off, easy to handle, according to the invention it is advantageous if, as seen in the width direction of the label, the distance between the first tear line and second tear line is at least 10 mm. A removed part with a width of this type can easily be manipulated using two fingers. With a view to providing sufficient space to place information on the removed part and with a view to facilitating manipulation, this distance between the tear lines is at least 15 mm, more preferably at least 20 mm.
- To ensure that the removable part can be torn off easily and reliably, according to the invention it is also advantageous if, as seen in the width direction of the label, the distance between the first tear line and second tear line is at most 30 mm, preferably at most 25 mm.
- To allow the label according to the invention to be kept in stock, it is advantageous if the label also comprises a backing sheet made from release material, to which the bottom surface of the bottom sheet is releasably bonded.
- A further aspect of the present invention relates to an assembly comprising a label according to the invention and a container, such as an ampoule, with a diameter of less than 25 mm, for example less than 15 mm. The ampoule in particular contains a pharmaceutical composition, such as a medicine.
- The present invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to examples which are illustrated highly schematically in the drawing, in which:
- Figure 1 shows a schematic cross-sectional view through a first embodiment of a label according to the invention;
- Figure 2 shows a plan view of the label from Figure 1 in the direction indicated by arrow II;
- Figure 3 shows a schematic cross-sectional view through a second embodiment of a label according to the invention;
- Figure 4 shows a plan view of the label from Figure 3 in the direction indicated by arrow IV;
- Figure 5 shows a schematic, perspective view of a label according to the invention, applied to a cylindrical object, with the removable part removed and illustrated separately.
- First of all, a number of comments referring to Figures 1-4:
- In Figures 3 and 4, identical reference numerals plus 30 are used for components corresponding to those shown in Figures 1 and 2. Therefore,
reference numeral 41 in Figures 3 and 4 denotes substantially the same component asreference numeral 11 in Figures 1 and 2, etc. - The oblique hatching in each case represents a self-adhesive layer, by means of which in each case the part of a sheet located on top is releasably bonded to the (part of a) sheet located underneath, in such a manner that the top (part of the said) sheet can be removed from the bottom (part of said) sheet, in order for said top (part of said) sheet then to be adhesively bonded to another object by means of said self-adhesive layer.
- In Figure 1, 10 denotes the label as a whole. This label comprises a
top sheet 11 and abottom sheet 12 located beneath it. Then, acarrier web 13, also referred to asbacking sheet 13, extends beneath thebottom sheet 12. In practice, acarrier web 13 of this type is a long strip on which a plurality oflabels 10 are provided. Thebottom surface 15 of thebottom sheet 12 is attached to the backing sheet/carrier web 13 by means of a self-adhesive layer 16. Thelabel 10, which is therefore a self-adhesive layer, can be removed, including the self-adhesive layer 16, from the backing sheet/carrier web 13, in order to be stuck to an object. Per se, this is no different from a standard label or sticker. - The
top sheet 11 has abottom surface 17 and atop surface 18. Thetop surface 18 is in this case the visible surface and may be printed on. Thebottom surface 17 of thetop sheet 11 faces towards thetop surface 14 of thebottom sheet 12. Thetop sheet 11 is in this case attached to thebottom sheet 12, in particular by adhesive bonding, in theedge zones 35 marked by curly brackets. - Between the
edge zones 35 there is acentral zone 36, likewise marked by means of curly brackets. In thecentral zone 36, arelease layer 32 is located between thetop sheet 11 and thebottom sheet 12. In thecentral zone 36, thetop sheet 11 is stuck to therelease layer 32 by means of its bottom surface via a self-adhesive layer 33. Thisrelease layer 32 is in turn fixed, over its entire underside, to thetop surface 14 of thebottom sheet 12. Therelease layer 32 is in this case permanently, i.e. in normal use of the label substantially undetachably, attached to thebottom sheet 12, for example by an adhesive layer or in some other way. - As such, an identical or similar adhesive can be used for both the self-
adhesive layer 16 and the self-adhesive layer 33. Likewise, to join thetop sheet 11 to thebottom sheet 12 in theedge zones 35 and in thecentral zone 36 to produce the join between therelease layer 32 and thebottom sheet 12, it is possible to use the same adhesive as adhesive layer as was used inadhesive layers edge zones 35, the adhesive bond between thetop sheet 11 and thebottom sheet 12 and, on the other hand, in thecentral zone 36, the adhesive bond between therelease layer 32 and thebottom sheet 12, is designed in such a manner that said adhesive bond can be broken and then the top part can be stuck to another component by means of the adhesive layer, whereas this is the intention for the adhesive bonds produced via the releasable, self-adhesive layers - As indicated in Figure 2, the
label 10 has an extent in the width direction which is denoted by double arrow W and also an extent in the height direction, denoted by double arrow H. - As can also be seen in Figure 2, two
tear lines top sheet 11. These tear lines extend over the entire height direction H. These tear lines 19 and 20 are composed of perforations which extend through thetop sheet 11 in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the drawing of Figure 2. The top sheet is also provided with alip 23. Thatpart 21 of the top sheet which is located between the tear lines 19 and 20 can be removed by means of this lip. Thispart 21 is referred to by the term "removable part 21". - On account of the fact that the
removable part 21 is attached to arelease layer 32 by means of a self-adhesive layer 33 and thisrelease layer 32 is fixedly joined to thebottom sheet 12 beneath it, theremovable part 21, after it has been torn off along the tear lines 19 and 20, can be stuck to another object. This is diagrammatically indicated in Figure 5. Figure 5 shows alabel 10, 40 (thelabel 40 is described in more detail below, but the difference is not visible in Figure 5). Thelabel cylindrical object 70 with a diameter D of preferably at most 25 mm, such as at most 15 mm. Theremovable part cylindrical container 70. Since therelease layer 32 has remained on thecontainer 70 together with the remainder of the label, thisremovable part 21 can immediately - i.e. without a release layer also having to be removed - be stuck to another object, such as a patient's notes or a syringe. - Figures 3 and 4 show another embodiment of a label according to the invention. The embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2 and the embodiment shown in Figures 3 and 4 differ substantially at two points. The tear lines 19, 20 in Figures 1 and 2 are designed differently from the
corresponding tear lines release layer 32 in Figures 1 and 2 is designed differently from therelease layer 52 in Figures 3 and 4. Before these differences are discussed further, it is pointed out that the tear lines 49 and 50 oflabel 40 can also be used for thelabel 10 shown in Figures 1 and 2 without any further changes being made to thislabel 10; and that the tear lines 19 and 20 oflabel 10 can also be used for thelabel 40 shown in Figures 3 and 4 without further changes to thislabel 40. - The
release layer 52 shown in Figures 3 and 4 forms a particularly preferred embodiment of the label according to the invention. In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2, therelease layer 32 is a separate sheet located between thetop sheet 11 and thebottom sheet 12. Consequently, thelabel 10 is noticeably thicker in thecentral zone 36. This noticeable increased thickness is made clear in Figure 1. In the embodiment shown in Figures 3 and 4, therelease layer 52 is not a sheet, but rather is a coating of a suitable release material provided on thebottom sheet 42. A coating of this type is much thinner and will result in little if any difference in thickness at the location of thecentral zone 66. This is illustrated in Figure 3 by thetop sheet 41 being depicted as a straight line. It will be clear that the thickness of the adhesive layers illustrated in Figures 1 and 3 has been exaggerated in the drawing. Furthermore, in Figure 3 thetop sheet 41 will be adhesively bonded to thebottom sheet 42 in theedge zones 65, preferably by means of thesame adhesive layer 63 as used in thecentral zone 66. In the edge zones, however, there is no release material provided on thebottom sheet 42, and consequently thetop sheet 41 here will remain permanently bonded to thebottom sheet 42. - The
release layer 52 in the form of a coating can easily be realized by being applied by means of a printing technique as if it were a layer of ink, with a silicone-like or silicone-containing material then being used as the ink. - The tear lines 49 and 50 shown in Figures 3 and 4 likewise form a particularly preferred embodiment of the label according to the invention. As has already been stated, this particular embodiment can also be designed with a different release layer from the one which has just been described with reference to Figures 3 and 4.
- In accordance with Figures 3 and 4, the first and second tear lines are designed as tear lines comprising a series of J-shaped
perforations 54 in the case of thefirst tear line 50 and a series of S-shapedperforations 55 in the case of thesecond tear line 49. - In the case of the
first tear line 50, each J-shaped perforation comprises a firststraight segment 56 extending in the tear line direction, with afirst bend segment 57 located at one of its ends. Thisfirst bend segment 57 is of curved design and bends in towards theremovable part 51. This first bend segment is provided at that end of thestraight segment 56 which faces towards theedge 52 of thelabel 40. Thisedge 52 is also the edge from which thelip 53 projects. In other words, thebend segment 57 is provided at that end of thestraight segment 56 which is located closest to thelip 53. - The
second tear line 49 is composed of a series of S-shapedperforations 55. Each S-shaped perforation comprises a secondstraight segment 58 with asecond bend segment 59, which bends towards the removable part (i.e. bends into the removable part 51), located at that end of saidstraight segment 58 which faces towards thelip 53. At the end which faces away from thelip 53, the second straight segment has a third bend segment which bends away from theremovable part 51. - As can be seen in Figure 4, one edge of the
lip 53 precisely adjoins thesecond tear line 49. In the case shown in Figure 4, this edge of thelip 53 is straight, but it could also, like the other edge, have an inclined profile or even a curved profile. - It should also be noted that at the
second tear line 49 the perforation 67 which adjoins thelip 53 is a J-shaped perforation with a straight segment which adjoins thelip 53 at the top end and has a bend segment 68 bending away from theremovable part 51 at the bottom end. It should also be pointed out that thefirst tear line 50 has astraight perforation 69 as its top perforation. - When the
lip 53 is then pulled, thetop part 51 will start to tear off along the first J-shaped perforation 67 of thesecond tear line 49. The way in which this perforation 67 adjoins thelip 53 is important with a view to preventing the removable part from becoming torn. Since thelip 53 is located at the edge of theremovable part 51, when the latter is being torn off a force exerted on the tear lines will not extend precisely in the tear line direction, but rather obliquely with respect thereto. As a result, the perforations tend to tear at the transitions between the perforations. On account of the fact that the bend segment 68 bending away from theremovable part 51 at the bottom of the first perforation 67, as seen in the width direction W, overlaps the top, inwardly bendingbend segment 59 of the next S-shapedperforation 55, tearing of the removable part which is initiated at the bottom end of the perforation 67 will be stopped as soon as thetop bend segment 59 of the following S-shapedperforation 55 is reached. This phenomenon is repeated at each transition to the next S-shapedperforation 55. - A similar but slightly different phenomenon occurs at the other side, i.e. at the
first tear line 50. There too, the removable part is in each case prone to tearing at a transition from one perforation to another. This tearing of the removable part is now prevented by deliberately initiating it at the top, inwardlybent bend segment 57 of each subsequent perforation. On account of the fact that thetop bend segment 57 bends into thestraight segment 56 of the associated perforation, the tearing of the removable part, which will initially be oblique, is diverted along the desired straight tear line by the perforation itself. - It should be noted that at the
first tear line 50 thetop perforation 59 may likewise be designed as a J-shaped perforation in the same way as theperforation 54. It should also be noted that the top perforation 67 of thesecond tear line 49 may also be designed as an S-shaped perforation like theperforation 55. - The fact that the
bend segments - It can also be seen in Figure 4 that the lengths L of the
perforations sides 52 of theremovable part 51 on which thelip 53 is provided. This makes it easier to start the operation of tearing off the removable part. It should be noted that this difference in length applies in particular to the second and third perforations, as seen in the tearing direction S along the tear line. - In the case of the J-shaped and S-shaped perforations, the top sheet is in particular made from polypropylene. This material is very good at preventing the removable part from tearing if J-shaped and S-shaped perforations are used.
