Description
The present invention relates to a method for joining release sheets.
A large number of adhesive sheets are attached to the release surface of a continuous release sheet at predetermined intervals and wound into a roll. The adhesive sheet roll is attached to a labeling machine, and the release sheet is continuously fed to peel off the labeling machine. It is widely practiced to peel the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet from the release sheet at the plate portion and stick the peeled pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet to a continuously fed product.
There are two types of pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets, one having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one side of the substrate and the other having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on both sides. In particular, in the latter case, a double-sided release sheet in which a release agent layer is provided on both sides of a substrate may be used as the release sheet.
In the process of manufacturing the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet roll, it is necessary to connect the release sheets on a daily basis by removing the defective portion due to the breakage of the release sheets or the mixing of foreign substances. When connecting the release sheets, it is necessary to select a connecting tape and a connecting method, but if these selections are inappropriate, the connecting tape will be peeled off during processing on the labeling machine, and the connecting part will be cut. The tether tape that has been loosened or peeled off may stick to the labeling machine or other parts of the roll, causing unexpected problems. Therefore, when connecting, an appropriate connecting tape and an appropriate connecting method are required.
As a method for joining roll paper, a method has been proposed in which a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is attached to the leading end of the roll paper, and the paper is attached to the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (see Patent Document 1).
However, since the connecting tape used in this method is a type that does not have a surface base material, there is a problem that the connecting tape peels off or slips when tension is applied to the released release sheet, as in processing with a labeling machine. It was.
Therefore, it is performed that the release sheet to be connected is butted between the end portions of the release sheet, and a connection tape having an adhesive layer provided on one side of the base material is attached to the part. However, in this method, when using a flexible tape such as a thin tape compared with the flexibility of the release sheet, especially when processing with an intermittent labeling machine, the side of the surface where the connecting tape is attached is the connecting part. The phenomenon of bending inside tends to occur. Along with this, the connecting tape is peeled off from the release sheet, the adhesive layer surface of the connecting tape is exposed and sticks to the device, or the bent part is caught in an undesired part of the device, often causing trouble. .
On the other hand, in order to prevent them, when using a low-flexible tie tape such as a thick tape, it will be difficult for the fold to occur, but the tie tape will not be able to follow the folded portion of the peel plate as it passes through the peel plate. A new problem will occur. In addition, there is a method of attaching a thin connecting tape to both the front and back sides of the butt portion of the release sheet, but the operation itself is complicated and the type of the adhesive sheet and the double-sided release sheet have an adhesive layer on both sides. When is used, the adhesive surface and the base material surface of the connecting tape stick to each other, so that troubles that cannot be fed out from the roll easily occur. Therefore, there is a demand for a connection method that does not cause the above trouble.
In particular, the present invention attaches a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet roll continuously wound at a predetermined interval to a release agent surface of a continuous release sheet and wound up in a roll shape, and attaches the release sheet to a labeling machine. When the adhesive sheet is attached to a product that is continuously fed out and peeled off at the peel plate part of the labeling machine, and the sticky sheet is stuck on the product that is continuously fed out, the peeling tape does not peel off at the peel plate part, and It is an object of the present invention to provide a joining method of a release sheet that can prevent bending at a position and entrainment associated therewith, and an adhesive tape for joining that can be used in a joining method of the release sheet.
The present inventor has conducted extensive studies to solve the above problems, when connecting the release sheet, as connecting adhesive tape, the silicone flexibility adhesive tape to have a silicone adhesive layer on one side of the substrate Reinforcing adhesive tape is bonded to the surface opposite to the system adhesive layer, with a 1 to 5 mm interval in the delivery direction from the leading edge in the delivery direction of the release sheet of the flexible adhesive tape , When connecting release sheets having a release agent layer on at least one side of a base material sheet using a bonding adhesive tape in which the thickness of the tip portion in the delivery direction of the release sheet is thinner than the thickness of the central portion, each release sheet The end portions of the release sheets are butted or overlapped so that the surfaces of the release agent layers face in the same direction, and the release agent layers of the release sheets straddling the butted ends or the overlapped ends.
