Claims (28)

  1. Vorrichtung zur Befestigung an einem Patientenunterstützungsrahmen zum Unterstützen des Kopfes eines Patienten, der während einer Operation in einer Bauchlage auf dem Rahmen liegt, wobei die Vorrichtung eine Basis (110, 452, 552, 702), die ausgebildet ist, um an dem Rahmen angebracht zu werden, einen Pfosten (112, 454, 554, 704), der an die Basis (110, 452, 552, 702) gekoppelt ist und sich davon nach oben erstreckt, eine Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) zum Unterstützen des Kopfes eines Patienten, der in einer Bauchlage auf dem Rahmen liegt, und ein verriegelbares Gelenk (456, 556) umfasst, das an den Pfosten (112, 454, 554, 704) gekoppelt ist und an die Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, , 562) gekoppelt ist, um die Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) über der Basis (110, 452, 552, 702) anzuordnen,
    wobei das verriegelbare Gelenk (456, 556), wenn es verriegelt ist, die Bewegung der Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) in Bezug zum Pfosten (112, 454, 554, 704) um eine Vielzahl Achsen verhindert und das verriegelbare Gelenk (456, 556), wenn es nicht verriegelt ist, die Bewegung der Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) in Bezug zum Pfosten (112, 454, 554, 704) um die Vielzahl Achsen zulässt,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das verriegelbare Gelenk (456, 556), wenn es verriegelt ist, die Bewegung der Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) entlang des Pfostens (112, 454, 554, 704) verhindert, und wenn es nicht verriegelt ist, die Bewegung der Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) entlang des Pfostens (112, 454, 554, 704) zulässt, und dadurch, dass das verriegelbare Gelenk (456, 556) ein Gehäuse (232), das entlang des Pfostens (112, 454, 554, 704) beweglich ist, und einen Griff (284, 457, 576) einschließt, der an das Gehäuse (232) gekoppelt ist und ausgebildet ist, um das Gehäuse (232) in einer gewählten Längsposition entlang des Pfostens (112, 454, 554, 704) zu verriegeln und das verriegelbare Gelenk (456, 556) gegen eine Bewegung um die Vielzahl Achsen zu verriegeln, wobei der Griff (284, 457, 576) zwischen einer ersten Position, in der das verriegelbare Gelenk (456, 556) verriegelt ist, und einer zweiten Position beweglich ist, in der das verriegelbare Gelenk (456, 556) nicht verriegelt ist.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei mindestens die Basis (110, 452, 552, 702) und die Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) aus strahlendurchlässigem Material gebildet sind.
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, wobei der Griff (284, 457, 576) abnehmbar an das Gehäuse (232) gekoppelt ist.
  4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, wobei das verriegelbare Gelenk (116) ein Halteseil (286) zum Unterstützen des Griffs (284) einschließt, wenn der Griff (284) nicht an das Gehäuse (232) gekoppelt ist.
  5. Vorrichtung nach irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das verriegelbare Gelenk (456, 556) ein Kugelgelenk umfasst.
  6. Vorrichtung nacht irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das verriegelbare Gelenk (456) eine modulare Unterstützung (458) umfasst, die ausgebildet ist, um an jede von einer Vielzahl Kopfstützen gekoppelt zu sein.
  7. Vorrichtung nach irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Basis (110, 452, 552, 702) ein Paar von sich in Längsrichtung erstreckenden und quer beabstandeten Seitenabschnitten (130, 132, 460, 570) und einen Querabschnitt (134, 462, 572) einschließt, der sich in Querrichtung zwischen den Seitenabschnitten (130, 132, 460, 570) erstreckt.
  8. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Seitenabschnitte (130, 132, 460, 570) einen Raum unterhalb der Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) definieren, der im Wesentlichen frei von irgendeiner Struktur ist, welche die Pflegekraft behindern würde, die über einen relativ uneingeschränkten Zugang zum Mund, zur Nase und zu den Augen eines Patienten verfügt, der in einer Bauchlage auf dem Rahmen liegt, wobei der Kopf des Patienten durch die Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) unterstützt wird.
  9. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7 oder Anspruch 8, die ferner einen Spiegel (122, 464, 724) umfasst, der an den Querabschnitt (134, 462, 572) unter der Kopfstütze (114, 470, 472, 490, 560, 562) zur Bewegung zwischen einer von dem Gesicht eines Patienten entfernten Lagerungsposition und einer dem Gesicht des Patienten benachbarten Verwendungsposition gekoppelt ist.
  10. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, die einen Reibungsmechanismus (350) umfasst, der an den Spiegel (122) gekoppelt ist und an den Querabschnitt (134) der Basis (110) gekoppelt ist und betriebsfähig ist, um den Spiegel (122) in einer gewählten Winkelposition zu halten.
  11. Vorrichtung nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 7 bis 10, wobei der Rahmen ein Paar von sich in Längsrichtung erstreckenden und quer beabstandeten Seitenschienen (40) einschließt und jeder der Seitenabschnitte (130, 132, 460, 570) der Basis (110, 452, 552, 702) ein nach unten offenes Profil (374, 466, 574, 768) zum Aufnehmen einer zugehörigen Seitenschiene einschließt.
  12. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 11, die ferner mindestens eine Klemmvorrichtung (320, 322) umfasst, die an einen Seitenabschnitt (130, 132, 460, 570) der Basis gekoppelt ist und betriebsfähig ist, um den Seitenabschnitt an einer zugehörigen Seitenschiene des Rahmens zu befestigen.
  13. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 11 oder Anspruch 12, wobei die Seitenschienen (40) einen allgemein rechteckigen Querschnitt aufweisen und die nach unten gerichteten Profile in Seitenabschnitten einen ergänzenden allgemein rechteckigen Querschnitt aufweisen.
  14. Vorrichtung nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 7 bis 13, die ferner ein zweites verriegelbares Gelenk (118) umfasst, das an den Querabschnitt (134) gekoppelt ist und an den Pfosten (112) gekoppelt ist, wobei das zweite verriegelbare Gelenk (118), wenn es verriegelt ist, die seitliche Bewegung des Pfostens (112) entlang des Querabschnitts (134) verhindert, und das zweite verriegelbare Gelenk (134), wenn es nicht verriegelt ist, die seitliche Bewegung des Pfostens (112) entlang des Querabschnitts (134) zulässt.
  15. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 14, wobei das zweite verriegelbare Gelenk (118) einen Anbaublock (360) einschließt, der ein nach unten gerichtetes Profil (374) aufweist, das bemessen ist, um den Querabschnitt (134) und einen Griff (362) aufzunehmen, der an den Anbaublock (360) gekoppelt ist und ausgebildet ist, um den Anbaublock (360) in einer gewählten Querposition entlang des Querabschnitts (134) zu verriegeln.
  16. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 15, wobei der Griff (362) zwischen einer ersten Position, in der das verriegelbare zweite Gelenk (118) verriegelt ist, und einer zweiten Position beweglich ist, in der das zweite verriegelbare Gelenk (118) nicht verriegelt ist.
  17. Vorrichtung nach irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Kopfstütze eine Schale (140) umfasst, die eine nach oben gerichtete konkave Innenfläche (142), die bemessen ist, um die Gesichtsstruktur eines Patienten, der in einer Bauchlage auf dem Rahmen ruht, aufzunehmen, und eine Kinnstütze (144) aufweist, die an ein Paar von seitlich beabstandeten Armen (146, 148) gekoppelt ist, die sich von einer nach unten gerichteten Fläche (150) der Schale nach außen erstrecken.
  18. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 17, wobei die Schale (140) einen Ausschnitt (160) umfasst, der mit einer Öffnung (170) verbunden ist, die durch die Kinnstütze (144) und die seitlich beabstandeten Arme (146, 148) gebildet ist.
  19. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 18, wobei der Ausschnitt (160) sich in einem Bereich befindet, der allgemein den Augen und der Nase eines Patienten entspricht, und die Öffnung (170) sich in einem Bereich befindet, der allgemein dem Mund eines Patienten entspricht.
  20. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 19, wobei der Ausschnitt (160) einen allgemein ovalen ersten Abschnitt (164) und einen kurzen allgemein sanduhrförmigen zweiten Abschnitt (166) aufweist.
  21. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 17 bis 20, wobei der Ausschnitt (160) und die Öffnung (170) ausgebildet sind um zuzulassen, dass einer oder mehrere Schläuche, beispielsweise ein Endotrachealschlauch, dort hindurch zur Nase und/oder zum Mund eines Patienten geführt wird/werden.
  22. Vorrichtung nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 17 bis 21, wobei die Arme (146, 148) sich unter der nach oben gerichteten Fläche (142) der Schale (140) befinden, um einen Raum über den Armen (146, 148) zu definieren, durch den einer oder mehrere Schläuche zur Nase und/oder zum Mund eines Patienten geführt werden kann/können.
  23. Vorrichtung nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 17 bis 22, wobei die Schale (140) aus einem Kunststoffmaterial geformt ist und wobei der Ausschnitt (160) einteilig damit geformt ist.
  24. Vorrichtung nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 16, wobei die Kopfstütze eine U-förmige Stirnstütze (470, 560) umfasst, die ausgebildet ist, um die Stirn eines Patienten zu unterstützen.
  25. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 24, wobei die Stirnstütze an einen Unterstützungsarm (474, 558) gekoppelt ist, der sich von dem verriegelbaren Gelenk (456, 556) aus nach außen erstreckt.
  26. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 25, die ferner ein Paar von quer beabstandeten Wangenkissen (472, 562) umfasst, die ausgebildet sind, um die Wangen eines Patienten zu unterstützen.
  27. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 26, wobei die Wangenkissen (472) an den Unterstützungsarm (474) gekoppelt sind.
  28. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 26, wobei die Wangenkissen (562) an die Stirnstütze (470) gekoppelt sind.
