Fig.1 zeigt eine Deckenleuchte 10, die unterhalb einer Decke 12 angebracht ist. Die Deckenleuchte 10 umfasst ein Aluminiumprofil 14 und eine Abdeckung aus Polycarbonat 16. Die Deckenleuchte 10 hat über ihre gesamte Länge den gleichen Querschnitt. Die Abdeckung 16 ist gekrümmt und hat die Form eines Ausschnitts eines Zylindermantels. Claims (8)

  1. Illumination assembly (10) for illuminating station platforms with a plurality of housing elements (14, 18) arranged in linear order, which are adapted to be at least partially installed along the station platform, wherein
    (a) the housing elements (18) are partially translucent,
    (b) lighting means (22) for illuminating the station platform and power supply units (24) are provided inside the housing elements essentially next to each other, and
    (c) continuous cavities (26) are provided for data-, signal- and/or supply lines (28),
    characterized in that
    (d) additional LED-lighting means are provided along one longitudinal side of the housing elements (14), and
    (e) control means are provided for controlling the LED-lighting means in such a way, that an incoming train is optically indicated, wherein
    (f) the LED-lighting means are controlled by the control means in such a way that they light up, have an increased intensity of illumination or start to blink with an incoming train.
  2. Illumination assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that LED-lighting means having a different color are provided.
  3. Illumination assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterized by integrated loud speakers.
  4. Illumination assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the LED-lighting means are installed on the side of the lighting means (22).
  5. Illumination assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the housing elements (14) are adapted to be integrated into a wall or the ceiling or to be provided at the ceiling in the form of a suspended lamp.
  6. Illumination assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the housing elements (14) are made of extruded aluminium profile with a transparent profile (18) made of Polycarbonate inserted therein.
  7. Illumination assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the extent of the housing elements projecting from the fixing plane in the direction perpendicular to the fixing plane is smaller than 112 mm, preferably smaller than 110 mm, wherein this portion is essentially transparent.
  8. Illumination assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the housing elements (14) provided at the ends are closed with end caps made of aluminium.
