Abstract

In einem einseitig offenen Hohlraum (20) eines Tragkörpers (1) für ein Geländer kann ein unterer Randabschnitt einer scheibenförmigen Füllung, insbesondere aus Glas, eingespannt werden. Der Hohlraum (20) ist seitlich von zwei im lichten Abstand zueinander parallelen hochkant feststehenden Stegen (2, 3) und unten von einem Distanzelement begrenzt. Damit der Tragkörper (1) leicht ausgebildet werden kann, einfach hergestellt und an den Einsatzzweck angepasst werden kann, ist der Tragkörper (1) ein Strangpressprofil, aus dem die beiden parallelen feststehenden Stege (2, 3) und zwischen diesen ein Distanzabschnitt (4) als Distanzelement einstückig ausgeformt sind. Aus dem Strangpressprofil ist seitlich eines der hochkant feststehenden Stege (2, 3) ein annähernd C-förmiger, nach außen offener Profilabschnitt (8) ausgeformt, der wenigstens eine hochkant stehende Lasche (12) aufnehmen kann, die mit einem Bauwerksteil (6) verbunden ist.
