Abstract

 外部駆動源のみにより駆動される第1圧縮機構および内蔵電動モータのみにより駆動される第2圧縮機構と、被圧縮ガスの第1圧縮機構への吸入通路と、第1圧縮機構側から電動モータ側吸入室へガスを吸入する連通路と、電動モータ側吸入室から第2圧縮機構側へガスを吸入する吸入路とを備えたハイブリッド圧縮機において、電動モータ側吸入室に連通路を介して吸入されてきたガスの少なくとも一部に対し、連通路の電動モータ側吸入室への開口である連通口から、吸入路の電動モータ側吸入室での開口であり前記連通口とは反対側に位置する吸入口へのガス流れが形成されるよう、連通路または/および吸入路の位置または/および数、または/および、連通口または/および吸入口の位置または/および数を制限したハイブリッド圧縮機。この構造により、内蔵電動モータ部を、吸入ガスによってより広い範囲にわたって適切に冷却でき、モータ部の温度上昇を適切に抑制できる。
