Description

The invention relates to a device for removing dog feces, wherein the device is formed by a gripping device and attachable to the gripping bag and the gripping device comprises two gripping elements which are about a common axis pharynized movable against each other and abut each other in non-use position, further one the two gripper elements is provided with a paddle-shaped portion which is determined during the removal process for resting on the ground and wherein the bag in the open position of the gripping elements with its bottom is inserted in advance in the space formed by the open gripping elements.

Die gewerblichen Schutzrechte GB 2 273 454 A , US 5,358,295 und US 6,059,333 beschreiben derartige Einrichtungen. In order to enable dog owners to remove their dogs' feces on roads, paths and squares, a variety of proposals and solutions have been developed in the past. Part of these solutions suggests the use of bags which are slipped over the gripping device so that neither the gripping device nor the hands are soiled during the removal process. The industrial property rights GB 2 273 454 A . US 5,358,295 and US 6,059,333 describe such devices. When using such devices, it is to be feared that it is not easy to lock the attached bag to the gripping device so that the removal process can be carried out easily and without difficulty. Two reasons cause this difficulty. The first reason is that you usually have only one hand available for the removal process, because the dog must usually yes stay on a leash, so that one is forced to keep the leash with the other hand. The second reason is often weather-related. Strong wind or rain, there is a risk that the bag section, which is plugged into the space formed by the open gripping elements, falls out of the room, so that the removal process much more difficult becomes. To avoid the latter, for example, by the protective right US 5,620,220 proposed to each of the two gripping elements to arrange a projection on which the bag with appropriately provided openings can be plugged. This solution has the disadvantage that special bags must be provided which are equipped with said openings.

In order for dog waste to be safely and adequately captured and lifted from the ground, it has also been proposed to provide the gripping elements at their bottom end with at least one blade-shaped portion to facilitate the removal operation. The US 5,358,295 uses such a blade-shaped portion which is fixedly arranged at right angles to one of the two gripping elements. This arrangement is not optimally adapted to the conditions resulting from uneven floors, so that even in this case, the Entfemungsvorgang either difficult or insufficiently executed.

Based on this prior art, the object of the invention is to develop a device of the present type so that the bag to be used between the two gripping elements is kept safe even in windy and / or rainy weather, without being equipped with separate fasteners and that the connection between the paddle-shaped portion and the gripping element carrying this portion is selected so that even on uneven terrain, the removal process is carried out quickly and without inconvenience.

The solution of the problem is that the common axis of the two gripping elements interrupted and the gripping elements are designed in the region of the broken axis so that an opening for receiving at least a portion of the bottom portion of the bag is formed and that the blade-shaped portion on one of the two Gripping elements is resiliently articulated so pivotable about a horizontal axis, that in the use position the two gripping elements of the blade-shaped portion facing the opposite gripping element has to form a support surface for the collected dog feces.

The first advantage of the solution found is that one must stuff the bag with the bottom ahead only in the opening formed by the gripping elements in order to effect a secure holding of the bag. The crumpled in the region of the opening bag is thus unable to dissolve by itself from the opening. The Entfemungsvorgang can therefore be easily and safely performed even in wind and / or bad weather.
The bag itself, to give the second advantage, therefore need not be equipped with separate attachment means, for example with openings, eyelets or the like, to be held securely by the gripping elements. The above-mentioned opening and the crumpled portion of the bag are sufficient to keep the bag safely so that bags of the simplest form can be used.
Finally, the third advantage is the appropriate connection between the paddle-shaped section and the corresponding gripper element. The fact that the blade-shaped portion is pivotally and correspondingly resiliently hinged to the gripping element, this snaps after the unfolding of the two gripping elements immediately in its position of use and adapts to the removal process by appropriate panning or yielding possible uneven ground. The dog excrement can be much easier and, above all, much cleaner to remove even from uneven ground. There are no leftovers that could be in a depression, for example.

Fig. 1 shows in a spatial representation of the gripping device 2 of a device 1 for removing dog feces. The gripping device 2 has two wall-like gripping elements 3, which are arranged roof-shaped in the position of use, as drawn. The gripper elements 3 are pivotally connected at their common connection region 4 via a common horizontal axis 7. The horizontal axis 7 can be constituted objectively by two axle pieces. It is also possible to form the horizontal axis 7 by two film hinge sections, provided that the two gripping elements 3 are made of plastic. The jaw-shaped mutually movable gripping elements 3 are equipped with known means that allow a secure gripping the gripping elements 3 in the process of removing dog feces. The common horizontal axis 7 is interrupted in the middle and the two gripping elements 3 are in the region 10 of the broken axis 7, designed approximately through recesses 8 so that an accessible from above and from below opening 9 is formed. At the lower end 11 of one of the two gripping elements 3, a blade-shaped portion 12 is pivotally arranged along a horizontal axis 13. There are not shown in detail, known in the art stop means provided, which allow a limited pivoting range of the blade-shaped portion 12. The paddle-shaped portion 12 is, for example, by using two small torsion springs, resiliently mounted on the gripping element 3, that this is from a non-use position, see Fig. 3 , in the spreading apart of the two gripping elements 3 by itself and immediately moved in an approximately horizontal position of use, in which it faces the opposite gripping element 3 and remains in this position. The blade-shaped portion 12 supporting gripping element 3 and the paddle-shaped portion 12 form in the position of use of the gripping device 2 an angle alpha less than 90 °. The paddle-shaped portion 12 forms the disposal process a support for the disposable dog feces. In this process, the dog excrement from the opposite gripping element 3 more or less pushed onto the paddle-shaped portion 12.

Fig. 2 shows the device formed by the gripping device 2 and by a bag 15 attachable to the gripper device 1. The gripping device 2 is in the position of use. The bag 15 is placed from below so on the gripping device 2, that the free open end 17 of the bag envelope 16 up above the gripping device 2 also protrudes and that from the bottom 18 of the bag 15 and the adjacent to the bottom 18 part the bag casing 16 formed bottom portion 19 is located in the space 21 formed by the open gripping elements 3. The opening 9 is now intended to receive at least a portion of the bottom portion 19 of the bag 15. This recording is done such that said part of the bottom portion 19 is pressed from below a bit far through the opening 9 therethrough, so that the resulting crumpled portion 20 of the bag 15 is held by the opening 9 and not from the gripping device 2 can solve. Accordingly, the two gripping elements 3 as well as the blade-shaped section 12 are encompassed by the bag 15. In this state, the disposal process, which is not described here in more detail, without the gripping device and the hand being soiled, can be performed simply and hygienically.

In Fig. 3 is viewed in side view, the gripping device 2 shown in non-use position. The two gripping elements 3 can be joined together about the common horizontal axis 7, wherein the resilient blade-shaped portion 12 is pressed by the opposite gripping member 3 in a non-use position in which the blade-shaped portion 12 facing upwards against the action of the spring force. In this so folded position, the gripping device 2 can be accommodated in a container, such as a small bag or in a roll-up Hundeleinenhalter.

Fig. 4 zeigt eine zweckmäßige Weiterbildung der Erfindung. Fig. 4 shows an expedient development of the invention. The drawing shows the unfolded gripping device 2 from above. One recognizes the common horizontal axis 7 as well as the opening 9 accessible from above and from below, see also Fig. 1 , At each gripping element 3, preferably at the inner wall 5, elastic means 14, such as two velcro-like bands are longitudinally arranged so that they partially overlap or cover the opening 9. The elastic means 14 then deviate to the side when the bag 15, as in Fig. 2 described, with the bottom 18 is pressed ahead through the opening 9 through a piece up. After completion of this process, the elastic means 14 jump back to their original position and narrow the opening 9. By this measure, the crumpled portion 20 located in the opening 9, see Fig. 2 further compressed, so that the bag 15 can not solve itself of the gripping device 2 by itself. The size of the cross section of the opening 9 is thus changed in a suitable manner by the elastic means 14.
