  • the gain controller 624 selects a corresponding RGB gain value from the look-up table 621 (step 730) to amplify the compensated image signal (R+ ⁇ ⁇ G+ ⁇ ⁇ B+ ⁇ ) in order to generate an adjusted image signal (step 740).
