Portable device for cleaning and massaging the skin

The present invention relates to a portable device used in particular for cleaning, massage and relaxation of the skin of a body part of a person, especially the face of this person.

Skin cleaning and massage devices are known comprising means for spraying a cleaning liquid on a part of a person's body, which are carried by fixed means arranged on or beside the person, or by manually manipulable means. These projection means are connected to water supply means by means of a pump for increasing the pressure of the water leaving the projection means.

These devices are used exclusively by health professionals or a specialized institute because they are bulky and expensive, and require the use of a source of energy.

The invention relates to a device for cleaning and massage of the skin which does not have these disadvantages and which is simple to use and economical.

It proposes for this purpose a portable device for cleaning and massage the skin, characterized in that it comprises means for fixing on a part of the body of a person, connection means to fluid supply means , such as a sanitary water distribution network, and fluid circulation means connected to the connection means and intended to extend around and / or along a part of the body of the person, at a short distance thereof, these circulation means comprising orifices and / or fluid spray nozzles on said part of the body of the person.

The fluid used may be water in liquid or vapor form, or a liquid or a suitable gas for treating the skin. The device according to the invention is portable and can be used by a health professional as by an individual, at home or on a trip. The fluid used is advantageously liquid water, the device being attached to the body part of the person to clean and massage and is directly connected to the sanitary water distribution network. In this case, it does not include a pump and operates without being connected to a source of electrical energy or other.

Optionally and especially in the case of professional use, this device can be connected to a pump to increase the pressure of the fluid output of the projection means.

The device according to the invention makes it possible to massage and relax the skin and the underlying tissues, and to improve the vascularization of the corresponding part of the body.

In a simple manner, the connection means comprise a housing having a first water passageway opening freely outside the housing, a second water passageway feeding the device, and selection means ensuring the opening the first lane and the closing of the second lane, or vice versa.

The connection means are advantageously connected to the mounting hole of a shower hose, provided on a mixer tap shower or bath, this hose then being connected to the outlet of the first water passageway of the housing . The opening of the first lane makes it possible to use the shower and the opening of the second lane makes it possible to use the device according to the invention.

The connection means preferably comprise means for receiving at least one active principle packaged in capsule, tablet, tablet or the like for the controlled release of this active ingredient in the water flowing in the first or second way.

The active ingredient may also be in the form of a liquid, a gel, a ball or the like and has a stimulating, restorative, relaxing or soothing property for the skin. For example, it is possible to use essential oils, plant extracts, surfactants, medicaments, etc., or a mixture of these. Advantageously, the active ingredient is packaged in a cartridge or a small bottle which is mounted in a compartment provided for this purpose of the aforementioned housing, this compartment comprising means for automatic opening of the cartridge or bottle and means ensuring controlled release. from the active ingredient to the passage of water.

The device can be used in a medical, aesthetic or cosmetological context, and can participate in a dermatological treatment such as, for example, the treatment of acne or the elimination or reduction of scars or wrinkles. The fluid circulation means provided in the device are advantageously adjustable in length and for example telescopic, deformable and / or articulated to fit the shapes of the body part of the person, at a short distance from it.

The device according to the invention thus adapts to the shapes of the person and can therefore be made in a single size.

These fluid circulation means comprise at least one duct equipped with means for projecting fluid over at least a part of its length, the fluid projection means comprising, for example, fixed nozzles and / or rotary nozzles for the projection of fluid. in scanning.

In one embodiment of the invention, the device is intended to be fixed on the head of a person and includes eye protection goggles, whose branches form fluid circulation conduits.

Other fluid circulation conduits, equipped with fluid projection means and connected to the branches of the glasses, are provided for the projection of fluid on the chin, the nose, the cheeks, the temples, the forehead, the skull and / or the person's neck.

The device 10 according to the invention shown in Figure 1 allows in particular to clean and massage the face of a person by spraying water on it. It is intended to be fixed on the head of this person and includes eye protection goggles 12 against splashing water.

These glasses 12 comprise a pair of transparent glasses 14 carried by a frame consisting of a front portion 16 extending around the lenses 14 and intended to bear against the skin around the eyes to limit the passage of water to those ci, and whose central portion 18 extending between the glasses 14 is a bridge intended to rest on the nose of the person, and two lateral branches 20 extending on each side of the head of the person, low distance thereof, and comprising rear ends 22 bent downwards and intended to be hooked on the ears of the person, for fixing the device 10.

A not shown elastic band can also be attached between the ends 22 of the branches to improve the attachment of the device 10 on the head of the person. The device 10 also comprises conduits 30, 32 for circulating water which are connected to the ducts 20 forming the branches of the spectacles 12 and which respectively extend in front of the person's forehead, and along his cheeks and his chin. and / or his nose.

The ducts 20, 30 and 32 of water circulation are equipped, on their faces opposite the skin on which they extend, orifices and / or water spray nozzles on the skin, which are schematically represented in FIGS. 3 to 7.

The conduits 20, 30 and 32 comprise longitudinal slots 34 (Figure 3), holes 36 (Figure 4), or nozzles 38 (Figure 7), or combinations thereof (Figures 5 to 7). The orifices 34, 36 and the nozzles 38 are regularly distributed over part or the entire length of the conduits 20, 30, 32, and formed along one or more longitudinal lines (FIG. 6). They are intended to project the water, in the form of jet, rain or drizzle, in a given direction and at a given pressure which does not exceed about 3 bars, and the nozzles 38 are preferably rotatable for the projection of water by scanning to increase the area of skin treated.

The water spray means may alternatively be irregularly distributed along the ducts 20, 30 and 32.

In the embodiment of Figure 1, the device 10 is intended to treat the skin of the forehead of the person through the front bar 30, the skin of the cheeks and chin through the chin 32 and the temples through the branches 20. The conduits 44, 46 surround at least a portion of the skull and the neck of the person and are preferably deformable to fit their shapes, at a short distance from them, and orientable about the axes 50 to facilitate their positioning. The conduits 44, 46 also include orifices 34, 36 and / or nozzles 38 for splashing water onto the skull and neck of the person.

As a variant, the means 40, 42 may be connected in pairs by means of a single duct 46, each end of which is housed and slides in leaktight manner in a duct 44. Means for connecting the device 10 to a sanitary water distribution point 28 are shown in FIGS. 8 and 9. The selection of the first channel 60 or the second channel 66 of water passage in the housing 52 is provided by a body 68 moved into a third compartment 70 extending between the aforementioned compartments 56, 62 and separated therefrom. by walls 72, 74, respectively.

The body 68 has an axial orifice 76 connected to the inlet 54 and to a transverse orifice 78 opening on each side of the body 68 in the direction of the compartments 56 and 62. The housing 52 comprises a fourth compartment 84 separated from the compartment 62 by a porous or perforated wall 88 for the passage of water from the compartment 62 to the compartment 84, and vice versa. The active ingredients used may for example be essential oils, plant extracts, drugs, surfactants, etc., and have energizing, restorative, relaxing, soothing properties, etc., for the skin. The device 10 is connected to the outlet 64 by means of the aforementioned pipes 24 and thus allows cleaning, massage, relax, and treat the skin by projecting thereon an active ingredient having predetermined properties. A shower hose is connected to output 58.

Alternatively, the fourth compartment 84 is separated from the compartment 62 by a wall 90 and connected thereto via a conduit 92 opening into the compartment 62 opposite the water outlet 64 and in the compartment 84 by a nozzle 94 projecting on a wall of the compartment 84.

The compartment 84 is intended to receive a cartridge 96 containing an active ingredient and which is, in the example shown, introduced into the compartment 84 through an orifice 98, until the head 100 of the cartridge comes to engage on the tip 94 for drilling to release the active ingredient in the conduit 92 and in the compartment 62.

The internal diameter of the conduit 92 and the viscosity of the active ingredient are determined for a controlled release of this active ingredient.

The cartridge containing the active ingredient can be made in any form allowing simple and rapid fixation on the casing 52, a controlled release of the active ingredient and the mixing of this active ingredient with the water circulating in the compartment 62. The other compartment 56 can also be associated with a compartment such as 84, intended to receive a conditioned active ingredient of appropriately, for its controlled release into the water passing through the shower hose.

The housing may also comprise means for homogenizing the mixture of water and active principle in compartment 62 and / or compartment 56.

The device 10 according to the invention may also comprise means not shown mounting by clipping on hot water and cold water supplying the mixing valve.

The temperature of the water delivered by the device 10 is regulated by means of the shower or bath mixer tap, a low temperature being preferred for toning the skin and a warm temperature being preferred to improve its cleaning.

The inlet 54 of the housing may alternatively be connected to means for supplying suitable gas or liquid for cleaning or treating the skin.

The device according to the invention can be used on any part of a person's body. It may for example be intended to treat the skin:

- a calf to relieve a contracture or cramp; - buttocks and thighs for the treatment of cellulite;

- back for the relief of rheumatism;

- hands for the relief of osteoarthritis;

- arms, legs or torso for the treatment of scars, for example burns; - the skull for the treatment of the scalp.

The device is intended to be used typically for a few minutes, possibly several tens of minutes.
