Abstract

A pole grip, especially for canes, trekking poles, downhill skiing poles, cross-county skiing poles, and Nordic walking poles. The pole grip includes a grip member and a hand-retaining device in the form of a hand strap or a glove. The hand-retaining device is equipped with a substantially band-shaped element which is provided with an end that is fixed inside the recess in the area of the top wall on the grip member. The pole grip includes a blocking element disposed which releases both the band section that penetrates into the grip member and the band section protruding from the grip member in the direction of the loose end while allowing the useful length to be adjusted when the hand-retaining device is oriented upward, the deflecting element blocks both the band section that penetrates into the grip member and the band section protruding from the grip member towards the loose end when the hand-retaining device is oriented downward, thus making it possible to provide a very reliable and simply designed adjustable hand-retaining device on a pole grip.

Description

TECHNISCHES GEBIETTECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to a pole grip, in particular for walking sticks, trekking poles, alpine ski poles, cross-country poles, Nordic walking poles, with a handle body and with a hand holding device in the form of a wrist strap or a glove, wherein the Handhaltevornchtung is adjustable in length.

STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART

Walking sticks, trekking poles, alpine skis, cross-country poles, as well as Nordic walking sticks usually have at their upper end a stick handle, which is grasped by the hand. In order to avoid accidental loss of the stick and to transfer the hand of the user to the stick, a hand strap is usually attached to this stick handle, through which the hand is passed before grasping the stick handle.

Such hand straps are usually adjustable to different hand sizes and use with or without gloves by their length can be varied. There are in this respect a variety of ways to attach hand loops on the pole handle variable.

On the one hand it is possible to fasten the strap of the hand strap with a screw in or on the pole handle, and different positions for tightening provided.

However, there are also constructions in which a fastening mechanism for the loop tape is provided, in which at a pull of the loop up its length can be changed, and which is fixed at a train of the loop down the loop in its length. Such fastening mechanisms have, inter alia, the advantage that, for example, in the event of a fall of the user and an occurring pull of the loop upwards, the wrist strap is loosened and hand injuries (for example skier thumbs) can be avoided.

Derartige Konstruktionen sind beispielsweise in der DE 19632718 C2 , sowie auch in der EP 1118362 A2 , der US 3,113,786 oder der DE 29906612 U1 beschrieben.Such constructions are for example in the DE 19632718 C2 , as well as in the EP 1118362 A2 , of the US 3,113,786 or the DE 29906612 U1 described.

The US 3,113,786 discloses an adjustable hand strap, wherein the first end of the loop is fixed in the handle and the second end in the desired length on the outside of the handle with a transversely aligned to the pole axis fastener can be attached, while the remaining part of the second loop end through the handle into the Cane tube is insertable.

DARSTELLUNG DER ERFINDUNGPRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The object of the invention is therefore to provide an alternative and, in particular, improved pole grip with a device for blocking and setting the length of use of the hand-held device. In particular, it is about the improvement of a stick handle, eg for walking sticks, trekking poles, alpine skis, cross-country poles, Nordic walking poles, with a handle body and with a hand-held device in the form of a wrist strap or a glove, the hand-held device with a device for blocking and Adjusting the length of use of the hand-held device is attached to the handle body, wherein the handle body has a recess, and wherein the hand-held device comprises a substantially band-shaped element. On the one hand, this band-shaped element has a grip body in the recess in the region of the upper wall (but not necessarily on this wall). attached end, and it enters the other hand, in the recess of the handle body, undergoes a deflection in the recess about a horizontally disposed deflecting element and comes down as a free end of the handle body out.

The solution to this problem is achieved in that means, as it were blocking means are arranged, which release the entering in the handle body band area and the free end of the handle body emerging band area with upwardly directed hand holding device, thus enabling adjustment of the length of use, and which, when the hand-held device is directed downwards, block both the band region entering the grip body and the band region emerging from the grip body towards the free end. The means correspondingly press the underlying band, respectively the two band portions below, at least indirectly against the lower bottom of the recess or specific elements provided there. In addition, the band region entering the grip body and the band region emerging from the grip body at the free end are arranged directly above one another and are pressed against one another in the blocking position by the means in a blocking manner. In this way, can be optimally ensured by the friction occurring between the two band areas, the blocking effect of the means in downwardly directed loop.

The core of the invention thus consists, inter alia, of blocking the band region entering the grip body as well as the band region emerging from the grip body by the means when the strap is directed downwards.

A first preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the band region emerging from the grip body at the free end is arranged below the band region entering the grip body. Thus, the adjustability of the loop or more generally of the hand-held device can be made most comfortable, in particular without disturbing free end between the two fixed loop areas which comprise the hand.

According to a further preferred embodiment, the deflection element is a pin, which is substantially horizontal in the recess is arranged, and is stored for example in the lateral walls of the recess in corresponding holes of the handle body. The pin can have a circular diameter, but it is also possible, for example, to increase the friction of the circulating belt, to provide a different diameter, for example, a square, rectangular or polygonal diameter. It is also possible to increase the ease with which the pin is provided with a tubular sleeve. Preferably, this pin is supported in holes, which are designed to be continuous at least on one side, so that the pin can be inserted from the outside and fixed in the handle body.

A very particularly preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the means is an elongated sheet metal element preferably in the direction of the recess, the plane of which is provided substantially horizontally in the recess and rotatably movable about a horizontal axis, and which extends beyond has down an angled portion which is pressed in the blocking position on the entering into the handle body band area and the underlying lying to the free end of the handle body emerging band area. Preferably, the axis of the rotatable movement of the sheet metal element is arranged in a rear region of the recess, and the angled region facing the front region of the recess.

Preferably, the band region entering the grip body is guided around a pin, which is arranged substantially horizontally in the recess and mounted in the lateral walls of the recess in corresponding bores of the grip body, and is led out of the grip body below as a free end. The sheet-metal element has a curved region which comes to rest on the outside at least over a gripping angle of 100 °, preferably at least over 120 °, around the region of the strip guided around the pin. In other words, the curved region of the sheet metal element at least partially surrounds the area of the band guided around the pin in the opening of the recess, and is thus rotatable in the recess around the pin movably mounted, without the sheet metal element can fall out of the recess at the different positions of the loop. Furthermore, the sheet-metal element has a straight region adjoining the curved region, at the end facing away from the pin (or, if appropriate, also slightly displaced relative to the pin) downwardly angled region is arranged. The angled region can be configured either on its edge lying underneath and to be fixed band with a straight edge, which is preferably so sharp that on the one hand it is able to fix the tape at laid down loop, but on the other hand, the band not damaged even with intensive use. The edge may alternatively or additionally have at least over parts of the edge provided teeth or the like, in order to be able to intervene optimally, for example, in a braided band can. Incidentally, it is generally also possible, for better fixation on the lower wall region of the recess, where the overlying band is pressed by the means, to provide additional aids for fixation when lowered loop. It may be on the bottom of the wall, in particular at its front edge provided ribs or webs, which increase the friction.

Preferably, the curved region of the sheet metal element engages around the belt running around the pin with a gripping angle of at least 150 °, in order to ensure that the sheet metal element is securely fixed to the opening of the recess.

Of course, the relative dimensions of this sheet metal element must be adapted to both the thickness and width of the band as well as the spatial conditions of the recess. The sheet metal element should in any case have a length of the straight section which is less than the distance between the hand-side opening of the recess and the pin, so that the angled portion at least indirectly presses the underlying band against the lower bottom of the recess. Thus, the straight portion and the angled portion should each have a length or height, that with downwardly directed loop strap the above-fastened out of the handle body loop strap the sheet metal element respectively its angled portion down to the entering into the handle body band area and the underlying free end of the handle body protruding band area presses, but at the same time with upward loop adjustability without excessive Resistance is guaranteed.

It proves to be advantageous to form the sheet metal element from a sheet metal, preferably from a steel sheet, a thickness in the range of 0.2 to 1.5 mm, and to provide a height of the angled region of about 2-3 mm. To ensure optimum fixation of the underlying band, the angled portion of the sheet metal element closes with the straight portion of the sheet metal element e.g. a right angle, preferably an angle in the range of 70-110 °.

At the attached end, the loop band can either be simply beaten to the upper wall of the recess via a screw, which can, for example, for better accessibility, the handle to top, but it is also possible to increase the loop band with a specially provided tear-out To secure the safety of falls on the handle body. It is also possible not to fix the loop band on the handle body directly, but, indirectly, by being fixed from above on the straight portion of the sheet metal element, for. B. via a rivet or a screw.

Typically, the sheet metal element has a width which is substantially adapted to the width of the loop. For example, the sheet metal element has a width in the range of 3-15 mm, in a loop tape, z. B. of a woven material, a width of 5-25 mm. The sheet metal element may well be slightly narrower than the loop tape.

A further preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the loop band emerging from the grip body is fastened to the wall which delimits the recess upwards, and in that the means are attached to the loop band as a downwardly directed web or are molded onto the loop band. Thus, in principle can be dispensed with an independently rotatable movable sheet metal element in the recess, since the means are attached directly to the loop tape.

An alternative preferred embodiment, however, characterized in that the emerging from the handle body loop tape is attached to the recess upwardly bounding wall, and that the means in the form of a Sheet metal element are provided, which is also fixed to the recess upwardly or rearwardly bounding wall below the outgoing from the handle body loop tape, and which has at the opening of the recess of the handle body side facing a downwardly angled region. Such a sheet metal element is correspondingly not rotatable about the pin but rather to its attachment point on the inner wall of the recess. Optionally advantageous is the possibility of biasing the sheet metal element. In principle, the means can be held in the blocking position by means of a preferably adjustable pretension, and only when the hand strap is deflected upward can it be adjusted.

Further preferred embodiments of the inventive pole handle are described in the further dependent claims.

WEGE ZUR AUSFÜHRUNG DER ERFINDUNGWAYS FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

Fig. 1 a) shows a stick handle 1 in a cut in the released position, ie in the adjustment position in which the hand strap can be adjusted. The FIGS. 1 b) and c) show supplementary views, wherein the same reference numerals have been used for the same elements. The FIGS. 2a ) and b) show the clamping position and the adjustment position in detail and here the same reference numerals have been used for the same elements.

The pole grip 1 comprises a grip body 3, which has a cavity 5 in the form of a recess from below, in which the pole tube 2 can be inserted. The handle 1 is ergonomically shaped, d. H. the contour line of the hand side 16 is different from the forward facing front.

In the upper region, the pole grip 1 has a somewhat horizontal recess 4 provided by the hand side 16. This recess typically has a height in the range of 10-20 mm, normally a height of 12-14 mm. The width is adjusted substantially to the width of the guided in this recess 4 band 8, and is for example in a cross-country, Nordic Walking, or alpine pole about 10-20 mm. At the upper wall of the recess 4, the end 9 of the hand strap 7 attached to the handle body is fastened with a fastening element 14. In the specific case, this involves a plastic bolt with radial projection (collar), which is guided in a bore 6 passing through the head in the vertical direction. The bore is e.g. covered with a cover stopper.

The loop band 8 emerges from the grip body as a protruding loop strap 22, forms the hand loop which wraps around the hand, and the other end, as a loop strap 11, again enters the recess 4 of the grip body 3. If it is not a circumferential wrist strap but a glove with corresponding tape means, so it is analogous to the loop tape 11 to the second band portion, which is attached to the glove.

The loop strip 11 entering the grip body 3, the width of which extends perpendicularly to the plane of the paper, is guided from above around a pin 13 fixed transversely to the belt direction in the recess, and, after the pin rotates downwards, emerges from the recess as a free end 10 again out of the handle body.

Without the provision of additional fixing means, a hand loop guided in this way in the grip body is freely adjustable in any position and is not fixed in its length. But now to ensure a fixation of the length of the wrist strap with downwardly directed hand strap 7, a fixing element 12 is provided in the recess. The fixing element is provided in the form of a plate 12, which has approximately the width of the band, and which has a somewhat J-shaped section. It has a curved area (see in particular Fig. 2 ), which surrounds the pin 13 and the belt running around the pin 13 from the outside. The diameter of the curved portion is adapted to the outer diameter of the band running around the pin 13. By this somewhat hook-shaped portion of the sheet metal element 12 on the one hand, this sheet metal element is movably mounted around the pin 13 and the belt running around it, and on the other hand caught in the recess 4 to some extent.

Furthermore, the sheet metal element 12 has a straight region 18, which adjoins the curved region and extends to the opening of the recess. At the end of this straight portion 18, an angled down to the underlying band sections 10, 11 region 19 is provided.

Will now, as in Fig. 1a ) respectively in detail in Fig. 2b ), the loop is held in a horizontal or upwardly directed position, the fixing element is easily pivotable and exerts no pressure on the underlying band sections 10 and 11. Accordingly, the length of the hand strap 7 can be adjusted in this position, in other words, the hand strap can be reduced by pulling on the free end 10, or be extended by pulling on the entering into the handle body loop tape 11.

In addition, the length of the hand strap can be increased in upward position of the hand strap in any case, which automatically gives a security in falls.

Will now, as in the Figures 1b ) such as Fig. 2a ) is shown in detail, the hand strap 7 directed downward, as is typically the case in use, so presses the portion of the emerging from the handle body loop strap 22 on the fixing. This is typically in the area of the front edge, ie where the straight area 18 and the angled area 19 abut one another. As a result, the angled region 19 of the fixing element 12 is pressed down on the band section 11 and thus also on the underlying second band section 10. The resulting friction fixes the loop in its length.

In Fig. 3 an alternative embodiment is shown, wherein in Fig. 3 a) the adjustment position is shown in a section, and in Fig. 3b ) the clamping position. The same reference numerals have been used for equivalent elements as in FIGS FIGS. 1 and 2 ,

In this embodiment, the end 9 of the hand strap 7 fastened to the handle body 3 is not fastened directly to the handle body but rather to the sheet metal element 12. In this case, it is attached to the straight section 18 with a fastening part 21, e.g. a rivet, struck from above.

From the FIGS. 3 a) and b) It will be seen that even when downwardly directed hand strap 7 of the top portion 22 of the protruding from the handle body loop tape presses the sheet metal element 12 down so that the angled portion 19 fix the underlying portions 11 and 10 of the loop tape.

Finally shows Fig. 4 basically different but still covered by the inventive idea possibilities of the clamping device. In Fig. 4a ) is shown the possibility to fix the fixing element 12 directly on the loop band of the wrist strap. The attached to the handle body end of the wrist strap 7 is connected to a fastening element 14 from below to the upper wall of the Recess 4 attached. At a suitable distance from this attachment, a web is either integrally formed on the loop band or attached to the band. It may be, for example, a web of sheet metal. In the clamping position, that is downwardly directed hand loop 7, the protruding from the handle body portion 22 of the loop tape press the fixing member 12 down to the underlying band sections 11 and 10 and to produce a similar effect, as already in the Figures 1-3 shown.

This solution is structurally particularly simple and accordingly not prone to low temperatures and icing.

Another possibility is in Fig. 4b ). Here, a sheet metal element 12 is provided instead of the sheet metal element with a curved portion, which is fixed at one end to the upper wall of the recess 4 with a fastening element 14. It has a straight portion which extends to the opening of the recess, and substantially at the end of this straight portion over an angled portion 19. Fulcrum in this fixing element 12 is to some extent the attachment point on the wall of the recess 4. Above this fixing element and something offset to the opening of the recess 4 towards the end attached to the handle body 9 of the hand strap is attached to the wall of the recess.

In the clamping position, ie downwardly directed hand strap 7, the loop strap 22 emerging from the grip body presses from above onto the fixing element 12, and the angled section 19 is pressed onto the two strap sections 11 and 10, which in turn produces a similar effect already in the Figures 1-3 was presented. This solution is also characterized by constructive simplicity. Furthermore, it is possible on the adjustment of the angle between the attachment and the straight portion of the sheet metal element a. For example, to produce bias down, so that only a targeted upward straightening of the loop actually leads to a loosening of the loop.

The mentioned embodiments serve only for the general illustration of inventive concept and should not be used to interpret the general main idea, as formulated in the patent claims, restrictive.
