Claims (19)
- Système pour un dispositif électronique (10), comprenant :un écran (14) pour afficher une image destinée à être éclairée par l'arrière ;un module (48G) d'ajustement d'éclairage par l'arrière pour calculer une intensité moyenne de ladite image sur une base de moyenne mobile à partir d'une valeur d'échelle de gris associée à ladite image corrigée d'après une courbe de gamma et pour déterminer un niveau d'éclairage par l'arrière pour ladite image en utilisant ladite intensité moyenne ; etun système (64) d'éclairage par l'arrière pour fournir un éclairage par l'arrière pour ledit écran (14), ledit système d'éclairage par l'arrière réagissant à des signaux de commande engendrés par ledit module d'ajustement d'éclairage par l'arrière, ce par quoi plus l'image est sombre, plus l'intensité d'éclairage par l'arrière est grande.
- Système selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ladite valeur d'échelle de gris est obtenue à partir d'un calcul pondéré dans lequel les valeurs de vert sont pondérées le plus lourdement.
- Système selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel ledit niveau d'éclairage par l'arrière est ajusté entre des niveaux minimal et maximal d'éclairage par l'arrière pour ledit écran (14) réglé, respectivement, pour une image complètement blanche et pour une image complètement noire.
- Système selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel ledit système est agencé pour faire un autre calcul pour une autre valeur d'intensité pour une autre image lorsque ladite image est remplacée sur ledit écran (14) par ladite autre image.
- Système selon la revendication 4, dans lequel ladite image et ladite autre image se rapportent à un signal vidéo.
- Système selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel on calcule la moyenne mobile en additionnant séquentiellement une valeur de pixel d'échelle de gris à un total en cours.
- Système selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel ledit niveau d'éclairage par l'arrière réagit en outre à un signal représentant une quantité de lumière ambiante détectée autour du dispositif, ce par quoi, lorsque la quantité de lumière ambiante augmente, le niveau d'éclairage par l'arrière augmente.
- Procédé d'ajustement d'un éclairage par l'arrière pour une image engendrée sur un écran (14) d'un dispositif électronique, comprenant :le calcul d'une intensité moyenne de ladite image sur une base de moyenne mobile à partir d'une valeur d'échelle de gris associée à ladite image corrigée d'après une courbe de gamma ;la détermination d'un niveau d'éclairage par l'arrière pour ladite image en se basant sur ledit niveau d'intensité ; etla fourniture dudit niveau d'éclairage par l'arrière à un système (64) d'éclairage par l'arrière pour un écran lorsque ladite image est engendrée sur ledit écran (14), ce par quoi plus l'image est sombre, plus l'intensité d'éclairage par l'arrière est grande.
- Procédé selon la revendication 9, dans lequel ladite valeur d'échelle de gris est obtenue à partir d'un calcul pondéré dans lequel les valeurs de vert sont pondérées le plus lourdement.
- Procédé selon la revendication 9 ou 10, dans lequel ledit niveau d'éclairage par l'arrière est ajusté entre des niveaux minimal et maximal d'éclairage par l'arrière, ledit écran étant réglé, respectivement, pour une image complètement blanche et pour une image complètement noire.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 11, dans lequel on fait un autre calcul pour une autre valeur d'intensité pour une autre image lorsque ladite image est remplacée sur ledit écran par ladite autre image.
- Procédé selon la revendication 12, dans lequel ledit autre calcul est fait pour une autre valeur d'intensité pour une autre image lorsque ladite image est remplacée sur ledit écran par ladite autre image et dans lequel ladite autre valeur d'intensité est calculée sur une section prédéfinie de ladite autre image.
- Procédé selon la revendication 13, dans lequel ledit écran affiche une image vidéo comprenant ladite image et ladite autre image ; et dans lequel on fait un autre calcul pour une autre valeur d'intensité pour une autre image montrée sur ledit écran (14) après ladite image.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 14, dans lequel on calcule la moyenne mobile en additionnant séquentiellement une valeur de pixel à un total en cours.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 15, dans lequel ledit niveau d'éclairage par l'arrière est en outre ajusté en utilisant une information d'état d'éclairage ambiant de sorte que lorsque la quantité de lumière ambiante augmente, le niveau d'éclairage par l'arrière augmente.
- Dispositif électronique comportant le système selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8.
- Produit de programme informatique destiné à ajuster un éclairage par l'arrière pour un écran pour un dispositif électronique, ledit produit de programme informatique comprenant un support lisible par ordinateur incorporant un moyen formant code de programme pour mettre en oeuvre dans un dispositif électronique le procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 17.
