Claims (19)
- System für eine elektronische Vorrichtung (10), mit:einer Anzeige (14) zum Anzeigen eines Bildes, das hintergrundbeleuchtet werden soll,einem Hintergrundbeleuchtungs-Anpassungsmodul (48G), um auf Grundlage eines gleitenden Durchschnittes aus einem Graustufenwert, der mit dem Bild assoziiert ist, das nach einer Gammakurve korrigiert ist, eine Durchschnittsintensität des Bildes zu berechnen und unter Verwendung der Durchschnittsintensität eine Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe für das Bild zu bestimmen, undeinem Hintergrundbeleuchtungs-System (64), um für die Anzeige (14) eine Hintergrundbeleuchtung bereitzustellen, wobei das Hintergrundbeleuchtungs-System auf Steuersignale reagiert, die vom Hintergrundbeleuchtungs-Anpassungsmodul erzeugt sind, wonach die Hintergrundbeleuchtungs-Intensität desto größer ist, je dunkler das Bild ist.
- System nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Graustufenwert von einer gewichteten Berechnung erhalten ist, in der Grünwerte am schwersten gewichtet sind.
- System nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe zwischen einer minimalen und einer maximalen Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe für das Display (14) angepasst ist, die jeweils für ein völlig weißes und ein völlig schwarzes Bild gesetzt sind.
- System nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei das System dazu eingerichtet ist, für einen weiteren Intensitätswert für ein weiteres Bild eine weitere Berechnung anzustellen, wenn auf der Anzeige (14) das Bild durch das weitere Bild ersetzt wird.
- System nach Anspruch 4, wobei das Bild und das weitere Bild sich auf ein Videosignal beziehen.
- System nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der gleitende Durchschnitt ausgerechnet wird, indem einer laufenden Summe nacheinander ein Graustufenpixelwert hinzugerechnet wird.
- System nach Anspruch 6, wobei der gleitende Durchschnitt nach der Gleichung
ausgerechnet ist, wobei AN ein neuer Durchschnitt ist, AN-1 ein vorhergehender Durchschnitt ist, X ein zum Durchschnitt hinzugezählter, neuer Graustufenwert ist und N die Anzahl der Werte ist, die bislang im Durchschnitt berücksichtigt sind. - System nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe ferner auf ein Signal reagiert, das eine Menge an um die Vorrichtung herum erfasstes Umgebungslicht darstellt, wonach die Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe steigt, wenn die Menge an Umgebungslicht steigt.
- Verfahren zum Anpassen einer Hintergrundbeleuchtung für ein auf einer Anzeige (14) einer elektronischen Vorrichtung erzeugtes Bild, wobei in dem Verfahren:auf Grundlage eines gleitenden Durchschnittes aus einem Graustufenwert, der mit dem Bild assoziiert ist, das nach einer Gammakurve korrigiert ist, eine Durchschnittsintensität des Bildes berechnet wird,auf Grundlage der Intensitätsstufe eine Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe für das Bild bestimmt wird; unddie Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe einem Hintergrundbeleuchtungs-System (64) für eine Anzeige zur Verfügung gestellt wird, wenn das Bild auf der Anzeige (14) erstellt wird, wonach die Hintergrundbeleuchtungs-Intensität desto größer ist, je dunkler das Bild ist.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei der Graustufenwert von einer gewichteten Berechnung erhalten wird, in der Grünwerte am schwersten gewichtet werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9 oder 10, wobei die Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe zwischen einer minimalen und einer maximalen
Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe angepasst wird, wobei die Anzeige jeweils für ein völlig weißes und ein völlig schwarzes Bild gesetzt ist. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 11, wobei für einen weiteren Intensitätswert für ein weiteres Bild eine weitere Berechnung angestellt wird, wenn auf der Anzeige das Bild durch das weitere Bild ersetzt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 12, wobei die weitere Berechnung für den weiteren Intensitätswert für das weitere Bild angestellt wird, wenn auf der Anzeige das Bild vom weiteren Bild ersetzt wird und der weitere Intensitätswert an einem vorbestimmten Abschnitt des weiteren Bildes berechnet wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 13, wobei die Anzeige ein Videobild mit dem Bild und einem weiteren Bild anzeigt und für einen weiteren Intensitätswert für ein weiteres Bild, das nach dem Bild auf der Anzeige (14) gezeigt wird, eine weitere Berechnung angestellt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 14, wobei der gleitende Durchschnitt ausgerechnet wird, indem zu einer laufenden Summe nacheinander ein Pixelwert hinzugerechnet wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 15, wobei der gleitende Durchschnitt nach der Gleichung
ausgerechnet wird, wobei AN ein neuer Durchschnitt ist, AN-1 ein vorhergehender Durchschnitt ist, X ein neuer dem Durchschnitt hinzugerechneter Wert ist und N die Anzahl der Werte ist, die bislang im Durchschnitt berücksichtigt sind. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 15, wobei unter Verwendung einer Umgebungslichtbedingungs-Information die Stufe der Hintergrundbeleuchtung weiter angepasst wird, so dass die Hintergrundbeleuchtungsstufe steigt, wenn die Menge an Umgebungslicht steigt.
- Elektronische Vorrichtung mit einem System nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8.
- Computerprogrammprodukt zum Anpassen einer Hintergrundbeleuchtung für eine Anzeige für eine elektronische Vorrichtung, wobei das Computerprogrammprodukt ein computerlesbares Medium mit einer Programmcode-Einrichtung zur Implementierung des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 17 in einer elektronischen Vorrichtung enthält.
