Abstract

Cette invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés permettant de programmer et/ou d'activer un dispositif adaptateur de terminal analogique (ATA) actionné par un module d'identification d'abonné (SIM), c'est-à-dire une carte SIM pour un adaptateur de terminal analogique, permettant à un téléphone fixe de se connecter à un réseau sans fil et d'utiliser les services de ce réseau. Selon le mode de réalisation décrit dans cette invention, un système peut activer et/ou programmer un module ATA actionné par carte une SIM. En outre, une station mobile est utilisée pour communiquer avec un réseau sans fil, de telle sorte que le composant d'activation/programmation permette la mise en marche du dispositif SIM-ATA par programmation et/ou activation du module activé par SIM via le réseau. Des composants séparés peuvent effectuer l'activation et la programmation du module SIM-ATA. Le dispositif SIM-ATA peut activer sa carte SIM, lorsque la carte SIM est préprogrammée, par envoi des données préprogrammées à un centre d'authentification. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, la station mobile reçoit un jeton depuis le réseau, lequel est transmis au dispositif SIM-ATA qui active ensuite la carte SIM après avoir vérifié la validité du jeton. Dans un mode de réalisation différent, une station mobile comprends plusieurs fiches SIM dans lesquelles un module SIM destiné à un dispositif SIM-ATA peut être introduit et activé via le réseau. Un autre mode de réalisation consiste à remplacer le SIM de la station mobile par le SIM du dispositif SIM-ATA puis à poursuivre l'activation.
