Definitions
- the invention relates to a profiled rail system for covering joints between floor and / or wall coverings to get smooth transitions, even if adjacent floor coverings have different heights.
- Such joint bridging is known from the prior art. Although such arrangements are already capable of being adapted to predetermined height tolerances, it is desirable to extend the adjustability even further in order to be able to serve even large joint depths or larger depth variations with a single product configuration. Such a requirement is made especially by the trade, so that not too many different types must be kept in stock. This is also required that the connection has good support and adaptable to all situations.
- a profile rail system is known in which in the base rail a profiled shaft is inserted with a holding head on which the cover rail is placed.
- the plug connection of a shaft in a longitudinal groove is lateral stable, in particular if the connection to the attached cover rail is pivotally held. It is also from the DE 20 2004 000 706 U1 a profile rail system for covering joints between floor coverings, which consists of a base rail and a cover rail, which are connected by an intermediate holding part, in which a groove is inserted from below, in which a formed on the base rail ridge ripened.
- the intermediate holding part is not a U-rail, but a hinge that can not be moved in height.
- the invention therefore has the task of creating a profiled rail system for covering joints, in which a firm and secure connection between the base and cover rail is given, which can be used both at low and at very large joint heights.
- the intermediate holding part Due to the high-strength fixed holding head on the web of the base rail, the intermediate holding part has a good hold despite the rotatable detection.
- the rotational mobility can be readily selected in the Winkelaustsch generous if the Klämmer and holding effect is formed sufficiently tight.
- Particularly advantageous is the U-rail-shaped design of insects verifferential pressure is applied, because inside the U-rail, the holding elements are protected and save space, the entire width of the U-rail can be used for the swivel range and the patch cover rail with its two webs to the Exterior walls of the U-rail is sufficient cling firmly.
- the altitude can be adjusted and adjusted here.
- Such a U-rail is compact and stable and easily withstands any tensile and compressive forces.
- the holding member can be rotatably supported on the base rail, the holding head of the web of the base rail in cross-section is circular. This rounded end extends over the entire length of the bridge. Such form can be produce excellent and inexpensive in the extrusion process. Due to the slim bridge and the large rounded end cap, the patch holding part can be pivoted on both sides over at least 10 °. It is also contemplated to provide the surface of the circular head with a structure or longitudinal groove to give the sensing member a better grip and find the central orientation for the cover rail. It is not necessary to mention that the holding part would have to have a corresponding elevation.
- the spring element is a created from an elastic and resilient material part which projects from the upper transverse wall into the interior of the U-rail and is supported with its outwardly bent ends on the side walls of the U-rail.
- the special shape and storage give the spring head a good and firm grip on the holding head of the web, the tension remains stable through the side support of the bent ends.
- the claimed strip material merely indicates that the spring element is thin-walled. For example, it could be made in one piece with the U-rail when both are made of the same material.
- the spring element is preferably made of sheet steel. But it would also be a plastic part conceivable, because there are plastic types, which have good spring properties.
- the spring element is a loose part, which is pressed into the interior of the U-rail and jammed becomes. The free, outward ends grip so firmly in the structure of the inner side walls that no independent release is to be feared. The desired tension is caused by the pressure of the spring heads against the upper transverse wall.
- the production of the rail system is made more versatile by the individual production of the springs. Above all, the spring elements can also be used individually at intervals, depending on the length of the U-rail or cover rail.
- the intermediate holding part is possible if the features of claim 6 are used.
- the molded webs exist preferably made of plastic as the U-rail itself.
- three distributed in the rounding webs are the cheapest. Their elasticity allows it to safely pick up the retaining head as a pivot bearing between them and the U-rail can be angled in the required range.
- a large angle freedom is achieved when two webs are arranged on one side at a small distance and the third web opposite the two. But there are also more webs for support possible.
- This U-rail with the molded webs can be produced quite inexpensively in the extrusion process.
- the holding pieces are used at a distance, it is necessary for an alternative that the features of claim 9 are used.
- the U-rail which serves as a holding part for the cover rail can consist of both plastic and metal.
- the two individual parts are first assembled into a single unit, it depends on the shape of the individual parts that they are well connected. The material is insignificant here. It only has to have the required properties of strength and elasticity. Because the parts are manufactured cheaply as mass parts, the whole profile rail system will be very inexpensive.
- the section is made of metal
- the U-rail is cut vertically in the side walls and formed a portion of the wall to the spring. Even cheaper, the pieces of plastic can be created in a mold. Both the spring element and the rail segment immediately has the desired shape with which they can fulfill their tasks. These parts are mass parts that are cheap to create in chill casting.
- Plastic parts are not subject to corrosion, and because both the base rail as well as the intermediate holding part are always completely covered, the visual impression of these parts is completely insignificant.
- the plastic has the required mechanical properties of strength, elasticity, resistance to breakage and resistance, so that its use only brings benefits. In addition, it can be processed inexpensively by injection molding or extrusion.
- the profiled rail system if the features of claim 12 are used. Due to the profiling, which may be a grain, a grooving or a series of saw teeth, the overarching webs have a good grip, especially if they themselves are still occupied by a corresponding structure. By a very slight angling of the webs they have a bias when they grip on the outer walls of the U-rail and the staple grip is a secure grip.
- Profiled rail system 1 shown consists of a base rail 2 and a cover rail 3, which are connected to an intermediate holding part 4.
- the Base rail 2 is fixed by gluing or by means not shown screws on the bottom 5 in a groove or joint 6, which is formed between two spaced apart floor coverings 7, 8.
- the fixed by means of the holding part 4 on the base rail 2 covering rail 3 bridges the groove 6 with its cover wings 9, 10 and is based on the ends of the floor coverings 7, 8, so that they are held down. If the floor coverings 7, 8, as in Fig. 1 shown, are equally strong, the cover rail 3 sits completely straight on the intermediate holding part 4. In many cases but two different strong floor coverings 7, 8 abut each other.
- the cover rail 3 In order to find a heelless transition in the case in which the top wings 9, 10 on the floor coverings 7, 8 aufmony on both sides, the cover rail 3 must be angled. Again Fig. 2 can be seen, the cover rail 3 can bring together with the intermediate holding part 4 in an inclined position in which it rotates on the holding head 13.
- FIG. 3 the rail system 1 shown as an exploded view.
- a base plate 11 in which a hole for the possible determination is indicated by means of screws.
- This web 12 has at its free end a circular cross-section reinforcement, which is designed as a holding head 13 for a holding part 4.
- This holding head 13 is preferably made hollow to save material. It extends over the entire length of the base rail. 2
- the holding part 4 which is designed as a downwardly open U-rail 14.
- the interior 15 of the U-rail 14 are holding elements in Form of webs 16 are provided, which are integrally formed on the inner side walls 17 of the U-rail 14.
- two webs 16 are provided at a distance on each side wall, which are directed to the center of the interior space 15. These webs 16 extend as far into the interior 15 that they have the holding head 13 of the base rail 2 between them in a firm grip with their free ends, while still remaining rotatable. Because the webs 16 are directed only from the side walls in the center, the necessary space remains from below to press the holding head 13 between the free ends of the webs 16, which have the required elasticity for this purpose.
- the U-rail 14 is made with the molded webs 16 made of plastic with a Shore hardness of 74 ° to 76 °.
- the holding head 13 is so strong from the outside that it can not jump out of storage by itself.
- the webs 16 extend over the full length of the U-rail 14. You have a solid, but rotatable handle on the holding head 13th
- the cover 3 is in Fig. 3 shown. It consists of the cover plate 18 with the side cover wings 9,10 which may be formed differently wide. It is also known to pull down the cover plate 18 on one side, if it is used as a lateral termination. From the underside of the cover plate 18, two integrally formed webs 19, 20, which are arranged at a distance from each other, which corresponds to the width of the U-rail 14 extend. These webs 19, 20 are provided on its inner side in the longitudinal direction with a grooving 21 in sawtooth shape, which cooperates with a groove 22 on the outer side wall leather U-rail 14, when the cover rail 3 is pressed onto the holding part 4. Any other surface structure would also be conceivable, for example a grain.
- the superimposed surfaces should find a good hold against possible slipping.
- a respective longitudinal notch 22, 23 are provided as a predetermined breaking point.
- the lower ends 24, 25 of the webs 19,20 are broken off at this notch 22, 23 when the floor covering 7, 8 has only low strength, and the webs 19,20 risk to sit on the base plate 11 of the base rail 3 before the deck wings 9, 10 on the floor covering 7, 8 press.
- the cover rail 3 is preferably made of a wood-plastic mixture. The material could also be wood, metal or even plastic.
- the fixing part 4 used for fixing the cover rail 3 to the base rail 2 may also be equipped only with three webs 16 in the interior 15 of the U-rail, as from Fig. 2 and 4
- Three webs 16 provide the necessary firm grip on the holding head 13 of the base rail 2. It is important that the 3-point bearing is adhered to the holding head 13. It is sufficient if two webs 16 at a distance from the one inner side wall 17 to the center of the interior 15 run and the third web 16 is directed from the other inner side wall 17 to the middle between the two webs 16, and the holding head 13 between the free ends of the webs 16 of the base rail 2 fits.
- the 3-point bearing of the U-rail 14 on the holder head 13 both the desired pivoting and the solid handle is guaranteed, as from Fig.
- FIG. 5 shows in another holding part, which is designed as a U-rail 14, another holding element is provided as Fig. 5 shows.
- This spring element 27 has a shaped as a circular arc of slightly more than 180 ° head 28, with which it presses on the inside against the upper transverse wall 29 of the U-rail 14. Both ends 30, 31 of the spring element 27 are bent obliquely outwardly to the head bow 28 and engage in a groove 32 of the inside of the side walls 17 of the U-rail 14.
- the spring element 27 is formed as a separate piece and is in the interior of the 15 U-rail 14 is pressed and anchored in the groove 32, wherein the pressure with the head 28 against the upper transverse wall 29 contributes to the necessary tension and thus the secure fixing is achieved.
- the spring elements 27 are preferably short pieces of sheet steel or plastic with a Shore hardness of 74 to 76 °, which are inserted in the U-rail at a distance. In a few cases, a continuous spring element 27 is used.
- Your head bow 28 corresponds to the holding head 13 of the base rail 2, to which the head 28 is placed in the assembled state and creates the rotatable connection between cover rail 3 and base rail 2.
- the inner surface of the head 28 may be provided with a fine structure and / or a small, narrow elevation in the longitudinal direction, which engages in a corresponding structure and or in a. Thin longitudinal groove on the holding head 13.
- Fig. 6 is another holding part 4 is shown, in which between two U-rail pieces a spring element 27 is interposed.
- This part can be made of metal.
- the side walls 17 and a part of the upper transverse wall 29 are cut, and the cut-away portion is bent to the spring element 27 with head bow 28 and outward ends 30, 31.
- the ends 30, 31 are then anchored laterally to the U-rail 14.
- these parts are also injected from plastic.
- the ends 30, 31 of the spring element 27 form a unit with the lower edge of the side walls 17.
- the head 28 of the spring element 27 serves as a rotatable connection between the holding part 4 and the base rail 2, wherein the connection between the holding part and the cover rail 3 is achieved with the webs 19, 20, which take over the U-rail 14 and the side walls 17th take.
- a U-rail 14 is shown as a holding part 4, in which a spring element 27 is formed in the interior 15, the side ends 30, 31 can be seen through the cut-out window 33 in the side walls 17.
- Both the inner and the outer sides of the side walls 17 are preferably occupied by a grooving 22 as sawtooth.
- This holding part 4 can be made of metal as well as plastic. It is preferably set as a short part at intervals on the holding head 13 of the base rail to serve as a connecting part to the cover rail 3, which is to be held pivotally.

Abstract
Description
The invention therefore has the task of creating a profiled rail system for covering joints, in which a firm and secure connection between the base and cover rail is given, which can be used both at low and at very large joint heights.
The object is achieved with the features of claim 1. Due to the high-strength fixed holding head on the web of the base rail, the intermediate holding part has a good hold despite the rotatable detection. The rotational mobility can be readily selected in the Winkelausschlag generous if the Klämmer and holding effect is formed sufficiently tight. Particularly advantageous is the U-rail-shaped design of Zwischenverfüten holding part, because inside the U-rail, the holding elements are protected and save space, the entire width of the U-rail can be used for the swivel range and the patch cover rail with its two webs to the Exterior walls of the U-rail is sufficient cling firmly. In a known manner, the altitude can be adjusted and adjusted here. Such a U-rail is compact and stable and easily withstands any tensile and compressive forces.
Thus, the holding member can be rotatably supported on the base rail, the holding head of the web of the base rail in cross-section is circular.
To set the holding part on the holding head to the base rail low, there are several options. Be very advantageous, the features of
Very advantageous would be a holding part with spring element, if it would be equipped with the features of
It has also proved to be very advantageous to equip the to be joined holding part with the features of
A further and advantageous definition of the intermediate holding part is possible if the features of
It requires no difficulty to extend the webs along the length of the U-rail, especially when the rail is produced by the extrusion process. It is thereby ensured that the holding part covers the base rail over its entire length.
It is also very advantageous if the features of
If the holding pieces are used at a distance, it is necessary for an alternative that the features of
When using sections, another variant is possible, to which the features of
In practice, it has proved to be beneficial if the features of
Finally, it is particularly advantageous for the profiled rail system if the features of

Finally, in FIG. 7, a U-rail 14 is shown as a holding
