Description

The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a dirt collecting container and a motor-filter unit, wherein the dirt collecting container with the engine-filter unit is releasably connectable.

Such vacuum cleaners are known in many embodiments of the prior art see for example EP 0 270 935 , In so-called wet / dry vacuums vacuum cleaners usually a dirt collecting container is used, which is formed bucket-like. On the dirt collector, a motor-filter unit can be placed and locked. During operation, a dirt-laden air stream is drawn into the dirt collector. The dirt settles in it and the air flow is blown off through the engine filter unit back into the environment. The arranged in the transition region between the dirt collector and the engine-filter unit air filter prevents dirt particles are blown into the environment. If the dirt collector is to be emptied, the engine filter unit must first be loosened and removed.

It is then placed on the floor so that the user has his hands free to empty the dirt collector. The filter usually stands on the floor and pollutes it. When the soil is wet, sometimes moisture gets to the filter. Then stick the adhering dirt particles and the functionality of the filter is impaired.

It is an object of the invention to provide a vacuum cleaner of the type mentioned, which is characterized by improved handling when emptying the dirt collector.

This object is achieved in that the motor-filter unit after releasing the connection with the dirt collecting container of this from the mounting position is tilted or pushed and can be brought into a separate parking position, and that the motor-filter unit in the parking position on positioning independently stands.

In such a vacuum cleaner, the engine-filter unit is released from the mounting position and spent in a defined parking position in which the contaminated area of the engine-filter unit is kept at a distance from the ground. The installation elements guarantee a secure footing so that the dirt collector can be emptied. Subsequently, the engine-filter unit can be re-cultivated on the dirt collector and the vacuum cleaner is ready for use.

According to a preferred embodiment variant of the invention, it is provided that the motor-filter unit has a support portion which carries the set-up elements, that the support portion carries a filter housing spaced from the erection elements, and that the filter housing in the parking position of the motor-filter unit is kept at a distance to the ground.

A simple structural design can be achieved in that the dirt collecting container has a collecting tank, the bucket-like design has an upper spout opening that the motor-filter unit holds in its position the filter housing at least partially above the pouring opening, and that the filter housing in the mounting position covers the spout opening at least partially. Characterized in that the filter housing is held above the pouring opening in the parking position, the dirt collector can be easily pushed under the engine filter unit, for example, deported from this.

A stable state of the engine-filter unit in the parking position can be achieved simply by the engine filter unit having a motor housing with a built-in motor, the motor housing projecting on the side facing away from the dirt container and that the engine due to its own weight Engine-filter unit stops in its parking position.

A preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the motor-filter unit has two spaced apart Aufstellelemente which stand up in the position on the ground and there define a pivot axis about which the engine-filter unit can be tilted, and that the engine Filter unit is supported by means of at least one other positioning element in the parking position. To disassemble the motor-filter unit, it must be placed on the first two set-up elements. Then it can be swiveled away from the dirt collector. This disassembly is easy to understand and easy and quick to carry out by the user. The pivoting movement is defined limited by means of the further Aufstellelementes. In this case, a secure footing is ensured in particular by the fact that the further positioning element is formed by a bracket.

The operation and handling is further simplified and made clear when it is provided that the motor-filter unit is supported with one or more support surfaces on associated support portions of the debris collection container, and that the support portions form a pivot bearing to which the engine filters Unit is tiltable with respect to the dirt collecting container. It may be provided that the support surfaces are formed by wheel covers that partially overlap wheels of the dirt collection in the mounting position. In this way, there is a large support width, which keeps the engine-filter unit reliably on the dirt collector.

Preferably, a vacuum cleaner according to the invention can be designed so that the motor-filter unit has on its side facing away from the dirt collecting receptacles for accessories, such as suction nozzles. In this arrangement, the accessories remain when emptying the dirt container on the engine-filter unit so that they are not hindering the emptying process.

The Fig. 1 shows a vacuum cleaner with a dirt collector 10 to which a backpack-like motor-filter unit 20 is grown.

As the Fig. 2 recognizes, the dirt collector 10 is formed like a bucket. He has a collecting tank 11, at the bottom of which two castors 12 are mounted on the front. On the back of the collecting tank 11, two arms are formed, each carrying a wheel 13. The arms each have a support portion 16. On the deck side, the collecting tank 11 is opened and thus forms a generous pouring opening, via which the collecting tank can be emptied.

The motor-filter unit 20 has a support section, which carries on the bottom side two mutually spaced installation elements 29.3. The positioning 29.3 are supported on the ground so that they form a pivot axis about which the motor-filter unit can be pivoted. As the Fig. 3 can be seen, the back of the motor-filter unit 20, a further set-up element 28 is formed, which is in the form of a bracket. In the in Fig. 3 shown positioning position, the motor-filter unit 20 is supported on the three positioning elements 29.3, 28 from the ground.

The Fig. 3 further shows that the support portion 29 has two laterally molded wheel covers 29.1. These are provided on the mutually facing sides with support surfaces 29.2. At the end facing away from the erection elements 29.3 and 28, a filter housing 21 is integrally formed on the support portion 29. This protrudes toward the front of the motor-filter unit 20 out. In the filter housing 21, an air guide and at least one interchangeable filter element are integrated. The entire electrical system is integrated in the engine filter unit 20. In particular, the power cord is to stow on the back of the motor-filter unit 20. Furthermore, the filter housing 21 holds at its top a power switch 22 and the front side a lug 24 with an air guide pipe 23. At the back of the motor-filter unit 20 is a motor housing 26 with a built-in motor, via the support section 29 before. The motor housing 26 is arranged so that the engine center of gravity, the engine filter unit 20 in the in Fig. 3 Safe position shown holds. On the deck side, a recess is formed in the motor housing 26, which serves as a tool rest 26.1. In the transition region between the motor and the filter housing 26 and 21, a handle 25 is arranged, on which the motor-filter unit 20 or the entire vacuum cleaner can be worn. Below the motor housing 26 plug receptacles are formed on which accessories 33, for example, suction nozzles, extensions, etc, can be set. As the Fig. 1 illustrated, can also attach the two sections 31, 32 of the divisible suction tube. The suction hose 30 may rest in the wound state on the motor housing 26. The sections 31, 32 of the suction tube thereby prevent slippage of the suction hose 30. The suction hose 30 is also supported on the positioning element 28.

Hereinafter, the procedure for disassembling the engine filter unit 20 from the dirt collector 10 will be described. First, the connection between the engine-filter unit 20 and the protective reservoir 10 by means of the two latches 27 is released. Then, the engine-filter unit 20 can be pivoted relative to the dirt collecting container 10. In this case, the support surfaces 29.2 slide on the support portions 16 until the erection elements 29.3 impinge on the ground. Then, in a further pivoting of the engine-filter unit 20, it is lifted off the dirt collecting container 10 until the wheel covers 29.1 release the wheels 13 so far that the dirt collecting container 10 can be rolled away. This position is in Fig. 3 shown. As can be seen from this illustration, the filter housing 21 is then dug out of the opening area of the collecting tank 11. The dirt collector 10 can then be emptied. Then it is pushed back to the motor-filter unit 20 until the Wheels 13 come to rest under the wheel covers 29.1. Then, the motor-filter unit 20 can be swung open until a circumferential sealing surface of the filter housing 21 rests on a seal 14 of the dirt collecting container 10. By means of the latches 27, the seal 14 is clamped and the motor-filter unit is mechanically locked to the dirt collecting 10.
