Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an acoustic absorbent fabric.
  • acoustic absorbent elements are often constituted by panels of mineral wool, or absorbent foam, positioned behind structural panels, such as metal ceiling slabs, wood structures, polyvinyl chloride, or perforated membranes of polychloride. of vinyl. These panels of absorbent material may also be arranged behind visual protection panels of road screens.
  • FR2329613 a sound damper and a sound absorbing method, usable to reduce noise levels and reverberations of noise in rooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, indoor stadiums, manufacturing facilities and the metro, and to mitigate noise. sounds in long sound paths such as ducts and corridors.
  • This document describes an acoustic absorbent fabric having the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • the mineral wool panels have disadvantages in terms of safety, insofar as they can lead to a significant emanation of fibers.
  • these mineral wool or absorbent foam panels are bulky, and can absorb moisture, when used outdoors. Finally these elements do not have a nice aesthetic, so it should be implemented behind a dressing support.
  • the object of the invention is to provide an acoustic absorbing element, which is simple in structure, quick to implement, which is aesthetic, which has all the guarantees of safety, and which can be stored and implemented under a weak volume.
  • the invention is an acoustic absorbent fabric, constituted by a glass fabric made from thermoplastic-coated glass fibers, with an opening factor of between 0.5 and 6% the diameter of the son of glass being between 150 and 600 microns and preferably between 270 and 400 microns.
  • the size and shape of the holes are determined to obtain a sound absorption coefficient ⁇ w sabine plenum of 10 cm between 0.3 and 0.8, depending on the frequency of sounds.
  • This shape and the opening factor of the holes can be obtained directly after weaving.
  • the fabric is advantageously subjected to a heat treatment, without stress, which makes it possible to block the threads. It is also possible to carry out a calendering operation, a higher aperture factor fabric, to reduce the aperture factor to the desired value.
  • the reduction of the opening factor can also be achieved by subjecting at least one of the faces of the fabric to a coating of a transparent or colored binder.
  • the title of the glass son alone is between 22 and 136 tex, preferably between 34 and 68 tex, and the title of the son coated with thermoplastic material is between 60 and 200 tex and preferably between 95 and 165 tex.
  • Example 1 Composition: 36% glass and 64% PVC (polyvinyl chloride) + coating or calendering Density: 22 X 20 threads / cm Reason: Natté 1x2 Thickness: 0.55 mm Tear resistant : - chain direction> 150 daN / 5cm - weft direction> 150 daN / 5cm Opening factor: 1 to 2% Fire classification: M1 Coefficient ⁇ w sabine: 0.6
  • Example 2 Composition: 36% glass and 64% PVC Density: 26X21 threads / cm Reason: Natté 1x2 Thickness : 0.55 mm Tear resistant : - chain direction> 150 daN / 5cm - weft direction> 150 daN / 5cm Opening factor: 1 to 2% Fire classification: M1 Coefficient ⁇ w sabine: 0.6
  • the invention brings a great improvement to the existing technique by providing an acoustic absorbent element of simple structure which can be used directly and not behind a decorative facade, since the absorbent fabric itself even decorative properties, low weight, low volume, and having all the conditions of safety and reliability, given the lack of degradation over time, even if the fabric is subjected to inclement weather.
