Description
The present invention relates to a suction device intended to be used on road vehicles, more particularly vehicles such as for example street sweepers.
Vehicles of this type consist, for the most part, of an articulated chassis or not, comprising at least two axles, associated with cleaning means such as brushes or brooms, suction means, a receptacle which is generally a tank, to receive the sucked residues, and if necessary a water tank of sufficient capacity, and a control station which is usually placed inside a cabin.
The chassis is composed of a front part which receives the suction means and a rear part which receives the tank as well as motorization elements. The suction means combine a suction turbine and elements to ensure the collection and transfer of waste sucked to the tank.
In known manner, the suction means consist of one or more ducts which are connected to one or more suction nozzles.
The waste is sucked to the ground thanks to a depression that is generated inside the tank. The suction ducts are directly connected by one of their ends to the front of the vehicle frame, via a nozzle which is arranged to allow the collection of waste on the front or on the sides, by means of a system of brushes. By their opposite end, the suction ducts join the receiving tank at the rear of the chassis of the vehicle.
These known methods have a certain number of disadvantages which limit or limit the reliability of the suction operations and the performance of the nozzles.
En effet, les buses, qui doivent à la fois assurer l'étanchéité et le maintien des conduits d'aspiration, subissent diverses contraintes en raison des mouvements des différents éléments montés sur le châssis du véhicule,Indeed, the nozzles, which must both seal and maintain the suction ducts, are subject to various constraints due to the movements of the various elements mounted on the chassis of the vehicle,
However, because of the conditions in which they are led to intervene, the road vehicles are very dependent on the configuration and congestion of the tracks. They can thus be made to make frequent and sudden turns and steering movements with a high amplitude, for example to avoid an obstacle or bypass a vehicle parked along the track.
As a result, the suction nozzles experience repeated shocks and stresses, which can shorten their life.
Various solutions have already been envisaged to overcome these disadvantages.
Thus, nozzles made of metal and covered with polyurethane inside are known. There are also nozzles integrally made of cast polyurethane, which requires tools and molds particularly complex and expensive.
This solution is not fully satisfactory, insofar as the nozzle does not fulfill here a dual function of sealing and stiffening of the lower part of the duct. The connection points between the rigid tubular elements and the bent portions constitute areas of weakness, with possible leakage losses.
In addition, the bent parts undergo a high abrasion due to sands and granular waste that are sucked, resulting in rapid wear.
The problem to be solved by the invention is to improve the sealing and the resistance of the suction nozzles used on the road vehicles.
The invention provides a suction device comprising a nozzle attached to the front axle of a vehicle and actuated by at least one jack and whose movement is limited by a guide rail, external stiffening elements may be provided.

figure 5 shows the suction nozzle of thefigure 4 in high position.
Une cuve (4) de réception des déchets aspirés est positionnée sur la partie arrière (2").The frame (2) comprises a front part (2 ') and a rear part (2' '), the suction means are arranged under the front part (2') and a tank (4) for receiving the sucked waste is positioned. on the back (2 ").
The suction device is composed of at least one suction nozzle (5) which is fixed on the front axle (6) of the vehicle and connected at its upper end to a duct (7) intended to convey the aspired waste. .
The nozzle (5) is actuated by means of at least one jack arm (8) having two axes of rotation (8 'and 8 ") and whose movement is limited by a guide rail (9).
Thanks to this mode, the nozzle can be mounted 200 mm with a virtually straight movement to press against the axle, while ensuring maximum ground clearance, the structure of the nozzle being fixed below the axle.
The cylinder (8) is fixed by one of its ends on the front axle (6) of the chassis (2) of the vehicle. The vehicle having suspensions variable trim, it is thus ensured that the nozzle (5) always remains in contact with the axle (6).
In the use phase, the operator must from the cabin (3) control the upward and downward movements of the suction assembly formed by the nozzle (5) and the duct (7), when said nozzle (5 ) is in contact with the ground to allow the aspiration of the waste and particles.
More precisely, the operator must, in the operating phase, actuate the duct (7) and the nozzle (5) to bring it down into the immediate vicinity of the ground so that the waste can be sucked up and then conveyed to the tank ( 4) through the conduit (7).
By cons, when the device is not in use cycle, the operator will reassemble the nozzle (5), both to prevent premature wear and prevent any risk of shock or snagging.
La buse (5) pourra être contrôlée par un clapet anti-retour (non représenté) prévu pour la maintenir en position haute en cas de chute de pression à l'intérieur du vérin (8).The nozzle (5) may be controlled by a non-return valve (not shown) provided to maintain it in the up position in case of pressure drop inside the cylinder (8).
The upward movement of the nozzle (5) is controlled by means of the available pressure of the booster pump (not shown) of the hydraulic circuit of the vehicle, or other sources of pressure, such as a pressure circuit of oil.
Indeed the vehicle having a hydrostatic progress, a constant pressure of 26 bar is available.
In the rest position, the pressure on the rod of the cylinder (8) is always maintained, and therefore the nozzle (5) is always pushed upwards. In case of stopping of the heat engine, and thus of falling of the pressure of feeding, the non-return valve will allow that the nozzle (5) remains in high position.
The suction nozzle (5) is made by polyurethane spraying. Thus, it is possible to separate the sealing and holding functions.
Plates around the nozzle (5) are placed around external structural elements forming a yoke that will provide the holding function to stiffen the device. These external structural elements may consist of one or more folded sheet metal parts disposed around the periphery of the nozzle (5), to form the yoke. In this case, the polyurethane will be directly projected into the yoke formed by the outer sheets and thus act as a lost mold.
In the normal mode of use, the nozzle (5) is directed downwards to suck up the waste on the ground.
The waste and particles are then conveyed by a conduit (7) extending the upper part of the nozzle (5) and joining the opposite tank (4) for collecting waste.
The nozzle (5) is mounted on rollers (14) which are arranged substantially in the extension of the axle (6) of the road vehicle.
The device being under a vehicle having an articulated direction, it is not necessary that the rollers (14) are movable, which limits the size of the assembly.
The front part of the nozzle (5) comprises a hatch (16) which is actuated by the obstacles encountered.
Thus, when the nozzle (5) encounters an obstacle on the ground, the hatch (16) opens, then closes once the obstacle past. The hatch (16) is formed in one piece.
The rear portion of the nozzle may be connected to a water supply (not shown) for moistening the interior of the nozzle (5) to facilitate the collection and transfer of waste to the tank (4).
Cette modalité permet d'éviter à la fois des écoulements d'eau vers le sol et un colmatage à terme de la buse (5).This modality makes it possible to avoid both water flows to the ground and a clogging of the nozzle (5).
Indeed, by moistening the waste inside the nozzle (5), and not in the conduit (7) ensures a permanent rinsing of the nozzle (5) and thus avoids the risk of clogging.
In addition, by placing the water supply behind the nozzle, it will avoid any water projection to the ground, since the plate receiving the valve is vertical.
