Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de paiement à base de bons, destiné à des services (2, 3, 4) fournis par l'intermédiaire de compteurs de prépaiement (8, 9) du type nécessitant l'introduction occasionnelle de jetons, chaque jeton déclenchant la prestation d'une quantité ou d'une valeur limitée du service correspondant, les jetons étant acquis en échange d'une valeur monétaire. Les jetons sont de type pouvant être transmis par l'intermédiaire d'éléments de communication radio ou terrestre. Le système de paiement selon l'invention comporte une pluralité de vendeurs de bons (11) capables de vendre des bons présentant une valeur prédéterminée ou choisie par le client, ainsi qu'un identifiant de bon identifiant le bon de façon individuelle. L'identifiant de bon peut également être transmis par transmission radio ou terrestre. Le système selon l'invention comporte au moins un centre de traitement de bons (1) capable de distribuer sélectivement à un client, par transmission radio ou terrestre, un jeton et/ou un code numérique (comme défini), en échange d'un identifiant de bon transmis par transmission radio ou terrestre.
