Abstract

Ein Drehschalter in einem Kraftfahrzeug umfaßt einen Mittelteil und einen Außenteil. Der Drehschalter umfaßt ferner einen Rastmechanismus, der zwei an den Mittelteil gekoppelte, radial nach außen vorgespannte Rastpins (26) und eine im Außenteil gebildete Innenkontur (34) umfaßt, die Raststellen für die Rastpins (26) definiert. Der Mittelteil ist feststehend und der Außenteil drehbar, wobei an den Außenteil ein Steuerteil gekoppelt ist, das die Drehbewegung des Außenteils direkt in eine Kontakteinheit (16) überträgt. Die Rastpins (26) sind an den beiden Enden einer Schraubenfeder (24) angeordnet, die in einer diametralen Führung (22) aufgenommen ist.

A rotary switch in a motor vehicle comprises a central part and an outer part. The rotary switch further comprises a latching mechanism comprising two radially outwardly biased locking pins (26) coupled to the central portion and an inner contour (34) formed in the outer portion defining latching locations for the latching pins (26). The middle part is stationary and the outer part is rotatable, wherein a control part is coupled to the outer part, which transmits the rotational movement of the outer part directly into a contact unit (16). The locking pins (26) are arranged at the two ends of a coil spring (24) which is received in a diametrical guide (22).
