Light poles are commonly used to illuminate streets and squares from a height. When designing these streets and squares, the functionality of the light poles is of great importance alongside the aesthetic impression. So light masts serve not only to hold the lighting arrangement, but also the attachment of signs, wastebaskets, flags and dergleiche.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Clamps are often used to attach such components. However, these may damage the mast and lead to corrosion. Furthermore, clamps can only be attached to masts with a circular cross-section.

From the DE 3511693 C2 Light poles are known, on which projections are provided, which serve the attachment of various components. The projections are provided at regular intervals in height and along the circumference. The mounting height of the components is limited in this arrangement to the predetermined by the projections heights.

The EP 1 479 968 A2 also discloses an extruded aluminum mast with a profile in which fasteners can be attached at any height.

Offenbarung der ErfindungDisclosure of the invention

It is an object of the invention to provide a light pole of the type mentioned with increased freedom of design. According to the invention the object is achieved in that along the connecting points in each case a rail is provided, in which further components can be fastened. The use of a rail allows the attachment of components at any height. Furthermore, in contrast to clamps, the rail allows the use of metal sheets which can be assembled into cross sections with virtually any shape. The rail stabilizes the arrangement. The position and number of attached to the rail components is arbitrary.

In one embodiment of the invention, two identical mast plates and two opposite rails are provided at the connection points. The arrangement is then symmetrical. When using identical mast sheets, the production cost is reduced. It is understood that more identical mast plates can be used with more connecting rails, which then cover a smaller angular range of the circumference.

Preferably, the rails have a substantially rectangular profile, which is open on the outside of the mast except for two edges. Such rails are sold for example under the term "Halfen rail" commercially. At a such an approximately C-shaped profile, a component can be attached by means of a hammer screw without much effort.

The mast plates preferably have a profile in which they overlap at least partially around the rail in overlapping fashion. The sheets can then be connected to the rail and / or each other. Depending on the material, in particular rivet welding or screw connections are suitable, which engage through the rail and the sheets lying thereon.

In one embodiment of the invention, in each case one mast side is completely formed by a mast plate, the mast plates are arranged opposite one another and the rails are provided on the intermediate mast sides. In this case, the mast can have a rectangular cross section over the entire height and the rails can be arranged centrally on opposite sides of the mast, wherein the mast plates run around the rail in such a way that the outer edges of the rail lie in the plane of the mast side. In this shaping of the mast sheets, a particularly aesthetic and homogeneous appearance is produced. All four sides are formed by surfaces that are interrupted only by the interior of the rails. Accordingly, there is little attack surface for vandalism. The surfaces are easy to clean and it prevents that debris gets into cracks, protrusions, grooves or other irregularities.

In one embodiment of the invention, the width of the mast increases towards the top. The depth of the mast can decrease towards the top. This means that the side surfaces are inclined relative to the vertical. As a result, the light of the lighting arrangement arranged at the top of the mast is reflected at the front and rear sides. The mast is visible from afar.

A lighting arrangement with a holder for attachment to such a light pole may preferably have downwardly projecting projections on the holder, with which engages the illumination assembly in the rails of the light pole. This allows a stable modular design. Different lighting arrangements can be mounted on the mast.

As components for attachment to the mast in particular lights, decorations, flags, bike racks, wastebaskets, trash can and fastening means for barriers may be provided which have fastening means for attachment to the rail of the light pole. Such a fastening means is for example a hammer head screw.

Embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims. Beschreibung der AusführungsbeispieleDescription of the embodiments

In Fig. 1 is a generally designated 10 light mast shown. On the light pole 10 sits a lighting arrangement 12. The light pole is anchored with a base 14 and a foundation (not shown) in the ground. The light pole 10 comprises two plates 16 and 18 which extend over the entire height. On the sides of rails 20 are provided, which also extend over the entire height.

It can be seen that the width 22 of the mast 10 increases towards the top. The depth 24 of the mast decreases towards the top. As a result, the mast is constructed asymmetrically.

In Fig.2 is explained in more detail with reference to the plan view, as the sheets 16 and 18 and the rails 20 and 26 are connected together. Due to the upward slope of the side surfaces 28 and 30, these are partially visible in plan view from the outside. The side surfaces 32 and 34 are inclined upwardly outward. Accordingly, these side surfaces can be seen from the inside. Both plates 16 and 18 in the assembled state have a substantially rectangular cross-section. The corners are slightly rounded. Each of the sheets 16 and 18 completely comprises one side 28 and 30, respectively, forming part of the sides 32 and 24 adjacent thereto. At their ends they are bent twice. The first bend 36 takes place towards the inside of the mast. The second bend 38 is in the direction parallel to the side 32. The distance between the first bend 36 and the second bend 38 is slightly less at one end 40 of the sheet than at the other end 42. Both sheets can then be assembled so that the ends overlap each other. In the recess thus formed, a respective rail 20 or 26 is used. The inside 44 of the rail 20 and 26 is riveted to the ends 46 and 48 of the sheets 16 and 18. The rivets are distributed at regular intervals over the entire height of the mast 10.

In Figure 3 a and b, a mast 10 is shown with a lighting assembly 12 having a different socket shape 50. The base 50 is provided at the lower end of the mast 10. However, it can be seen in the illustration that the mast 10 is sunk with a piece 52 below the earth line 54. At the recessed end a plate 56 is connected to the mast. The rail 20 protrudes up to this plate. In 3a is also an opening flap 58 in the mast 10 to see, which is provided at a height reachable for people. About this flap the electrical system of the lighting arrangement is accessible.

In Fig. 4 a and b is a symmetrically formed mast 10 with vertically extending side surfaces 58 and rails 60 shown. This mast has no pedestal.

The following figures show which possibilities of use the rail 20 offers. In Figure 5 a flag 62 is attached to the mast 10 at a comparatively great height. The flag 62 hangs on an elongated rod 66, which is secured by means of a hammer head screw in the rail 20. Here only one screw 64 was used for attachment.

Another use is the attachment of signs 68, as shown in Fig. 6 is shown. The shield 68 is slightly smaller than the one in Fig. 5 shown flag and therefore hangs something deeper to achieve optimal visibility. For the shield 68 two attachment points 70 and 72 are provided. The use of a rail allows both the variation of the size of the shield, as well as the variation of the height.

In Figure 7 It has been shown that temporary furniture can also be attached to the poles for decorative purposes. In the example of Figure 7 a lit poinsettia 74 is attached to an attachment point 76. The easy way of mounting these devices can be quickly assembled and disassembled. No special precautions need to be taken.

In Fig. 8 It is shown that additional lighting elements can be attached to the mast. In the present embodiment, a radiator 80 is provided on a holder 78. Both the angle of the radiator 80, as well as the height can be varied, so that an optimal illumination of the illuminated object is possible.

In Figure 9 At the lower end of the mast 10, a bicycle holder 82 for a bicycle 84 is provided. The bicycle holder 82 is attached to two attachment points 86 and 88. As a result, the holder is particularly firmly connected to the mast. This allows the safe connection of a bicycle 84. It is understood that the bicycle holder 82 can also be provided in addition to the other facilities on a mast. The same applies to a wastebasket 90, as in Fig. 10 is shown or a trash can 92, as in Fig. 11 is shown. It is also possible to attach one of the elements shown on one side of the mast and another on the other side of the mast.

In Figure 12 It is shown that the mast 94 can also be used without a lighting arrangement. In the present example, a mast 94 with other masts, not shown, serves as a bollard. The bollard 94 locks on both sides by means of a rope or a chain 96 from a range. It can serve at designated locations, a light pole 10 for attaching the chain 96 at its lower end 98. The chain 96 is secured to opposite sides 100, 102 of the bollard.

In Fig.13 and Fig.14 the attachment of the elements is shown by means of a hammer head screw. A threaded plate 104 is inserted into the interior 106 of the rail 108. From the outside, an extension piece 110 is screwed by means of a screw 112 with the threaded plate 104. The rail 108 has two edges 114 and 116. These rims 114 and 116 are located between the outboard side of the threaded plate 104 and the inward side of the hub 110. Similarly, the threaded plate 104 and lug 110 clamp at the edges 114 and 116 when the screw 112 is tightened. The edges 114 and 116 are beveled inside. Furthermore, the threaded plate 104 and the extension piece 110 have a step-like projection, so that together they form a recess for the edges 114 and 116. With this arrangement, an element can be defined and strongly clamped.

On a mast 10 different lighting arrangements 12 can be placed in modular design.

A first lighting arrangement is in Fig.1 . 15 and 16 shown. This is a chassis 120 on which a transparent hollow body 122 with a cover 124 is attached. The transparent hollow body 122 has the shape of a prism. The chassis 120 is made of cast aluminum and is in Figure 16 shown separately again. The hollow body 122 is a transparent deep-drawn part, for example of polycarbonate. The hollow body has vertical side surfaces on the sides, in the plane of which the rail runs on the mast. The front and back sides 128 and 130 diverge from bottom to top. The hollow body 122 is arranged on the chassis and is held laterally by rectangular tubes 126. For this purpose, the hollow body is provided with bulges, in which the rectangular tubes extend at least partially. Above the hollow body 122 between the rectangular tubes 126, the lid 124 is arranged. The lid 124 is like the chassis 120 of cast aluminum. The rectangular tubes 126 are aligned with holding elements 132 and 134, which are laterally integrally formed on a cuboid chassis body 136. The holding elements 132 and 134 project down beyond the underside of the base 136. With these holding elements 132 and 134, the chassis 120 engages the rails 20 of the mast 10 when it is placed on top of the mast. The holding elements 132 and 134 are provided with threaded holes into which screws can be screwed. In this way, the chassis can be screwed by means of the holding elements 132 and 134 with the rail of the mast. Within the chassis 120, the power supply and control components for the lighting means of the lighting arrangement is provided. In the cover 124 then only the holder needs to be arranged. The lid 124 is provided at the bottom with a suitably curved reflector. Furthermore, it is also possible to provide antiglare agents as required.

Auch hier sitzen elektrische Bauteile innerhalb des Chassis 142.In FIGS. 17 and 18 an alternative lighting arrangement 12 is shown. In this lighting arrangement, a transparent, cylindrical hollow body 140 is used. A chassis 142 used for this hollow body 140 is shown in FIG Fig. 18 shown separately in detail. The chassis 142 will look like the chassis Fig. 16 mounted on the mast and fastened with screws. However, it is not cuboid, but forms a holder 144 with an annular groove 146 in which the hollow body sits. On the hollow body 14, a cover 148 is likewise arranged, which is provided with a reflector. Again, electrical components sit inside the chassis 142.

In FIGS. 19 and 20 a third illumination arrangement is shown. The lighting arrangement comprises a cast-iron carrier 150, which is fastened on the mast 10 in the manner described above as a chassis. The carrier has a hinge 152. A flat support member 154 is pivotable about this joint. This is represented by an arrow 156. On the underside of the flat support member 154, a plurality of LEDs are installed. By means of a small motor, hydraulically or pneumatically, the flat support member 154 in the direction of the arrow 156 can be pivoted up and down.

In Figure 21 a light pole 10 is shown, to which a traffic sign 103 is attached. In Fig. 22 a light pole 10 is shown, to which a street sign 105 is attached.
