Derartige Vorrichtungen zum seitlichen Ausrichten der in der Regel schuppenförmig einer Druckmaschine zugeführten Bogen sind allgemein bekannt und im Anlegtisch so angeordnet, dass die Saugeinrichtung bündig mit der Oberfläche des Anlegtischs abschließt. Bei der Verarbeitung schwerer oder spezieller Bedruckstoff, wie z. B. einseitig abgedeckten Wellkarton, ist es erforderlich, dass durch die Saugeinrichtung eine hohe Haltekraft realisiert wird. Das wird in der DE 4415 494 C2 dadurch erreicht, dass neben der Saugplatte ein Sauger vorgesehen ist, der auf der den Bogen zugewandten Seite mit Vertiefungen und Rillen versehen ist, die Ober eine Zentralbohrung mit Saugluft versorgt werden. Darüber hinaus ist zwischen dem Außenumfang des Saugers und der Saugeinrichtung ein Ringspalt vorgesehen, der zur Erhöhung der Haltekraft bei schweren Bedruckstoffen ebenfalls mit Unterdruck beaufschlagt wird. In der Fig. 1 ist eine Saugeinrichtung 1, die aus einer Saugplatte 2 und z. B. einem Doppelsauger 3 besteht, dargestellt. Die Saugeinrichtung 1 ist in einer Saugziehschiene 4 angeordnet, die durch nicht dargestellte Mittel quer zu einer Bogenförderrichtung 5 im Maschinentakt in Richtung eines ortsfest angeordneten Seitenanschlag 6 bewegt und von diesem zurückgeführt wird. Dazu ist die Saugziehschiene 4 verschiebbar in einem Anlegtisch 7 gelagert, wobei die Oberfläche des Anlegtischs 7 mit der Oberfläche der Saugziehschiene 4 eine Ebene bildet. In der Saugplatte 2 sind Saugbohrungen 8 vorgesehen, die über einen nicht dargestellten Saugkasten, der mit einer Unterdruckversorgung in Verbindung steht, mit Unterdruck beaufschlagt werden. Die Saugbohrungen 8 sind mit Saugöffnungen 8.1 versehen, die in einen Nutengrund 9.1 von Nuten 9 münden. Die Nuten 9 sind in der Saugziehschiene 4 bzw. in der Saugplatte 2 angeordnet und zum ausrichtenden Bogen hin geöffnet. Die Nuten 9 können in einer beliebigen Lage auf der Saugplatte 2 angeordnet sein. Sind die Nuten 9 quer zur Bogenförderrichtung 5 oder geringfügig geneigt dazu angeordnet, ist es vorteilhaft, um ein Verhaken der geförderten Bogen zu vermeiden, die in Bogenförderrichtung 5 vorn liegenden Nutwandungen 10 in Bogenförderrichtung 5 geneigt auszuführen, wobei sich ein Winkel α von etwa 60° als vorteilhaft erwiesen hat.
Die Bogen werden in bekannter Weise von einem Bändertisch schuppenförmig auf den Anlegtisch 7 gefördert und der jeweils vorderst Bogen des Bogenstroms mit der Vorderkante gegen am Anlegtisch 7 positionierten Vordermarken transportiert und so nach der Vorderkante ausgerichtet. Danach werden, wenn wie im Ausführungsbeispiel Doppelsauger 3 in der Saugziehschiene 4 angeordnet sind, diese und die Saugbohrungen 8 der Saugplatte 2 aktiviert, indem sie mit Unterdruck beaufschlagt werden. Durch die Maßnahme, die Saugöffnungen 8.1 statt an der Oberfläche der Saugplatte 2 im Nutgrund 9.1 der zum auszurichtenden Bogen hin geöffnete Nuten 9 anzuordnen, wird die wirksame Saugfläche der Saugplatte 2 vergrößert. Außerdem hat sich gezeigt, dass sich z. B. die Welle bei einseitig abgedeckten Wellenkarton oder das Material bei schweren Bedruckstoffen nach Beaufschlagung der Nuten 9 mit Unterdruck nicht nur gegen die Saugplatte 2 gezogen wird, sondern sich geringfügig elastisch verformend der Kontur der Nuten 9 anpasst. Damit wird ein Quasiformschluss zwischen dem auszurichtenden Bogen sowie den Nuten 9 der Saugpalette 2 realisiert und so eine hohe Ziehkraft ermöglicht, so dass auch schwere oder spezielle Bedruckstoffe sicher erfasst und ebenso mit der Seitenkante gegen den Seitenanschlag 6 geführt werden.
Danach wird in bekannter Weise die Saugluftzufuhr zum Doppelsauger 3 sowie zur Saugplatte 2 unterbrochen und der nach Vorder- und Seitenkante ausgerichtete Bogen durch nicht dargestellte Mittel in die nachgeordnete Maschine gefördert.
Da die Saugziehschiene 4 mit zum ausrichtenden Bogen hin geöffnete Nuten 9 nicht zum Ausrichten beliebiger Bedruckstoffe geeignet ist, kann diese ausgewechselt werden. Dazu sind in der Saugziehschiene 4 Bohrungen 11 vorgesehen, so dass die Saugzeihschiene 4 mit einem Schlitten verbunden werden kann, der im Anlegtisch 7 gelagert und quer zur Bogenförderrichtung 5 im Arbeitstakt verschoben werden kann. Es ist auch möglich, lediglich die Saugplatte 2 austauschbar zu gestalten und diese bei Bedarf zu wechseln.
