Description

The present invention relates to a sealing arrangement for a sliding door comprising a bottom seal which can be lowered by a mechanism,
  • wherein the mechanism comprises a shutter projecting on the front side of the door leaf, which is pressed when closing the sliding door against a spring force acting on the Absenkmechanismus the Absenkmechanismus,
  • wherein a closing mechanism for the sliding door is provided to counteract the opening tendency of the sliding door given by the spring-loaded trigger, and
  • wherein the closing mechanism comprises at least one magnetic element pulling the door leaf in the closing direction.

The DE 35 26 720 A1 describes a seal assembly for a sliding door of the type mentioned, in which the closing mechanism comprises a coupling element which has approximately a pin shape, with an abutment, a neck-shaped taper and a head. This coupling element is received by a bore in the end region of the sliding door, wherein a tensile connection between the coupling element and the sliding door can be produced via two radially displaceable balls. It is thus a mechanical connection similar to a locking connection, which is released by a corresponding tensile force when opening the sliding door again.

In a sliding door with a lowerable bottom seal, a locking mechanism is required because the trigger is spring loaded and thereby pushed sliding door of the trigger tries to relax, that is, from the frame member, against the sliding door is pushed to push away, creating an opening tendency of the sliding door. The wider the sliding door is, the greater the force that has to be expended in order to lower the floor seal into its closed position over the length of the sliding door. Accordingly, the opening tendency of the sliding door by the spring-loaded trigger increases with increasing width of the sliding door. In order to avoid an automatic opening of the sliding door, it has therefore been used in conventional sliding doors usually a locking mechanism that holds the sliding door in the closed position, but this has the disadvantage that then to open the sliding door first a manual unlocking be made got to. This means a simple sideways sliding movement is not enough when opening the sliding door. Such a requirement of unlocking reduces the ease of operation of operating the sliding door.

When from the above-mentioned DE 35 26 720 known sealing arrangement for a sliding door is disadvantageous that it requires a very accurate guidance of the sliding door so that the pin meets exactly in the corresponding recording of the sliding door. Such an exact guide for a sliding door can be realized in practice only with great effort, which is why the known from the prior art solution can not be implemented in an economically meaningful way.

A problem was thus to provide a sealing arrangement for a sliding door of the type mentioned above, in which the closing mechanism counteracts the opening tendency by the spring-loaded release is designed so that the sliding door can still be opened conveniently and easily.

From the European patent application with the publication number EP 0 354 505 A2 is a sliding wall with all-glass sliding sash known which have a lowerable via a mechanism bottom seal. The mechanism includes a trigger projecting on the front side of the all-glass sliding sash, which is pressed against a triggering spring force of the lowering mechanism when closing the sliding door. The all-glass sliding sash have a locking mechanism with a magnetic strip to counteract, inter alia, given by the spring-loaded release opening tendency of the sliding sash.

The magnetic strips extend over the vertical sections of the edge surround the all-glass sliding sash and ensure a tight abutment of the sliding sash in the closed state of the sliding wall. The counteracting the magnetic forces of the opening tendency of the sliding leaf due to the spring force on the trigger of the bottom seal is only a side effect of the magnetic strips. For the purpose of counteracting the opening tendency of the sliding sash because of the trigger, such large magnets in the form of magnetic strips would not be necessary .. In addition, the magnetic strips represent a significant limitation of the aesthetic design options in a sliding door with a bottom seal and require additional installation work.

Hier setzt die Erfindung an.This is where the invention starts.

The invention is based on the problem of designing a sealing arrangement of the type mentioned above so that the magnetic element or a counterpart of the magnetic element is integrated into the sealing arrangement in a simple and attractive manner.

The solution to this problem provides a seal assembly for a sliding door of the type mentioned above with the characterizing features of the main claim. According to the invention it is provided that the magnetic element or a counterpart for the magnetic element is attached to a fastening element, preferably on a mounting bracket, which serves for fastening the bottom seal on the door leaf.

The magnetic force can be adapted according to the invention to the release force of the bottom seal of the sliding door. For example, with a sliding door seal optimized in the release force, the release force is on the order of up to 20 N / m. In conventional automatically triggering bottom seals, the release forces are usually in the range of 20 to 60 N, depending on the width of the sliding door. The fact that in the solution according to the invention, the sliding door is pulled by means of the magnetic element in the closing direction, can be dispensed with a lock or a similar locking mechanism. However, the magnetic force should not be too strong, otherwise there will be too much force to open the sliding door. Ideally, therefore, the magnetic force is chosen so that the given by the acted upon by a spring trigger trigger tendency of the sliding door to open only slightly overcompensated. Parameters that influence the magnetic force are in particular the size of the magnetic element and / or the material of which the magnetic element is made. Vary the magnetic force acting in the closing direction of the sliding door but also on the size and / or material thickness of the counterpart. In this way, via the counterpart also a fine-tuning can be made. The magnetic forces are determined by the magnetic flux through the magnet on the one hand and the counterpart on the other hand. If more Magnetic force lines can flow through both parts, the magnetic force increases. The ideal ratio is approximately when the magnetic element and counterpart have approximately the same thickness. If the counterpart is chosen thinner, the magnetic force is reduced. Thus, one can adjust the required holding force of the magnet, for example, by simply exchanging differently strong, for example, approximately plate-shaped metallic counterparts.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, you can also use the plate used as a counterpart at the same time as an abutment for the trigger of the lowerable bottom seal.

The bottom seal may for example be attached via a mounting bracket on the door leaf. The counterpart is preferably attached to the frame or to the frame against which the sliding door closes. In principle, it is also possible to exchange the position of the magnetic element and counterpart, so that the magnetic element is located on the frame. A possible preferred structural variant provides, for example, that the magnetic element is at least partially embedded in a groove of the door leaf or the frame. In this case, the magnetic element may also be mounted axially resilient, for example via a spring element in such a groove of the door leaf or the frame. This makes it possible to slightly protrude the magnetic element relative to the door leaf or the frame and when closing the sliding door, the magnetic element then springs back slightly into the groove.

The magnetic element can be integrated on the door leaf in the fastening device. The magnetic element can be attached to the door leaf, for example via a screw or via an adhesive connection. The magnetic element can according to a preferred embodiment of the invention as disc-shaped or approximately annular, wherein the magnetic element, for example, approximately centrally punch and then attach with a mounting screw or a similar fastener together with the mounting bracket frontally on the door leaf.

A preferred embodiment of the task solution according to the invention provides that the magnetic element is integrated in a mounting bracket which serves for mounting the lowerable floor seal on the door leaf. This mounting bracket may for example also have a slot, so that it is possible to fix the mounting bracket in an angular position relative to the door leaf on this and thereby produce an inclined plane or compensate for a slightly wrong built door thereby. By such a slot in a mounting bracket you can also deliberately install the bottom seal for the sliding door something wrong.

Since the so-called Zargenluft, that is, the distance between the door leaf and the frame may vary or the door leaf is not always installed so that it is parallel to the plane of the frame, it is advantageous if the magnetic element is axially resiliently mounted.

A coarse adjustment of the magnetic force can for example be made by the manufacturer, depending on the length of the respective bottom seal, by the respective size of the magnetic element and the material from which this is selected accordingly. The fine tuning can then optionally be done on site by the installer, for example in the manner already mentioned on the respective selection of the size and the material thickness of the counterpart.

First, it will open Fig. 1 Referenced. The illustration shows a simplified perspective view of the lower portion of a door leaf 11, looking approximately at the front side of the door leaf. It can be seen that a lowerable bottom seal is present, which is designated overall by 16 and which is embedded in a groove 16a of the door leaf 11. This lowerable bottom seal 16 comprises a sealing profile 16b, which comes into abutment in the lowered position of the seal on the ground and thus seals the lower door gap. The lowering movement is triggered via the end face on the door leaf 11 protruding trigger 20, which is pressed when closing the door and then causes a not described here spring-operated lowering mechanism to lower in a conventional manner, the sealing profile 16b. Since the trigger 20 is acted upon by a spring force of the Absenkmechanismus and it is a sliding door, this causes the springs try to push the trigger 20 back to the starting position (see also Fig. 2 ), in which the trigger 20 protrudes a piece on the front side of the door leaf 11 and in which the springs of the lowering mechanism are relaxed. This leads to an opening tendency of the sliding door, which is why in the conventional sliding doors with bottom seal usually a lock is present, which prevents the sliding door opens automatically.

The embodiment according to Fig. 1 and 2 now provides that a magnetic element 12 is present, which is located in a groove 13 of the door leaf. At the door frame, not shown here is a corresponding counterpart (see reference numeral 21 in Fig. 4 ), so that the door leaf 11 is overcompensated by the magnetic force which overcompensates the spring force acting on the trigger 20, is moved to the closed position and remains in the closed position.

How to get out Fig. 1 detects, it is in the magnetic element 12 is an outline, for example, circular magnetic piece, which is approximately disc-shaped (see also Fig. 2 ). The magnetic element 12 is located above a mounting bracket 15, by means of which the lowerable floor seal 16 is attached to the door leaf 11.

Fig. 2 shows that the magnetic element 12 is partially received by the groove 13, with the door open but a piece opposite to the Door leaf 11 can protrude frontally. The magnetic element 12 is fastened to the door leaf, for example, by means of a screw 17. This screw 17 may extend through the disc-like magnetic element 12 therethrough. In the embodiment according to Fig. 2 In addition, a spring 14, for example, a coil spring is provided, which surrounds the screw 17 and is arranged in the groove 13 between the magnetic element 12 and groove bottom. As a result, the magnetic element 12 is resiliently mounted resiliently against the force of the spring 14. When the magnetic element 12 protrudes a little further than in the drawing Fig. 2 this is therefore irrelevant. It is therefore also possible to compensate for tolerances in the distance between the end face of the door leaf 11 and the door frame against which the sliding door closes. Due to the magnetic force, the magnetic element 12 is optionally pulled out against the spring force 14 from the groove 13 when it comes in the vicinity of the counterpart, so that you can bridge tolerances here. The mounting bracket 15 is screwed in this variant of the invention, for example, via a further screw 18 on the door leaf 11 to secure the bottom seal 16.

One of them slightly different constructive solution according to the invention shows the embodiment according to the 3 and 4 , In this variant, the magnetic element 12 is combined with the mounting bracket 15 to form a component. It can be characterized by only one fastening screw 17 which is screwed through the magnetic element 12 and the mounting bracket 15 (see Fig. 4 ) simultaneously fix the magnetic element 12 and the bottom seal 16. The disc-shaped magnetic element 12 with a central bore for the fastening screw 17 may be glued to the mounting bracket 15, for example.

Der Auslöser 20 befindet sich in seiner eingedrückten Betätigungsstellung, wie man gut durch Vergleich von Fig. 4 und Fig. 2 erkennen kann und die Bodendichtung 16 ist in die Schließstellung abgesenkt, in der sie zum Untergrund 23 hin abdichtet, Fig. 4 also shows the counterpart 21 in the form of a metal plate, which is located on the frame or the frame 22 for the sliding door. In Fig. 4 can also be seen well that in the closed position between the frame 22 and door leaf 11, a gap remains, which is bridged by the counterpart 21 and the slightly opposite the door leaf 11 projecting magnetic element 12. The trigger 20 is in its depressed operating position, as can be well by comparing Fig. 4 and Fig. 2 can recognize and the bottom seal 16 is lowered into the closed position in which it seals to the ground 23 out,

Hereinafter, a second embodiment of the invention according to the invention will be described. This embodiment is similar to that previously described with reference to FIGS 3 and 4 described variant. However, the mounting bracket 15 has a slot. This makes it possible, on the one hand, to fix the magnetic element 12 via the fastening screw 17 in different height positions and thus to vary the height of the magnetic element 12 relative to the fastening angle 15. It can be located on the door panel 11 a recess, so that the mounting bracket 15 can be mounted in slightly recessed position on the door panel 11. At the lower horizontal leg of the mounting bracket, the bottom seal 16 can be set.

The present at the mounting bracket 15 slot also offers the possibility, for example, the bottom seal 16 in relation to the horizontal and the door leaf 11 slightly inclined (slate) to install position, for example, if the lower door gap over the length of the sliding door is different widths. It may also be useful to about the mounting bracket 15 an inclined plane produce, for example, if the door leaf is installed somewhat obliquely, that is, the end face of the door leaf 11 is not exactly parallel to the frame of the sliding door. Also in this variant, the magnetic element 12 is disc-shaped with an approximately central bore, so that the fastening screw 17 can be screwed through this hole and the slot in the region of the recess 11 of the door panel.
