Abstract

The DE-OS 23 36 455 (Hugo Stefan Müller) shows a body brush with an electrically driven, rotating brush roller, which is arranged on a vertically extending guide means movable up and down, wherein above the brush roller and a holder for a shower head is attached to the movable part. During application of the device, the brush roller moves up and down, reaching all parts of the body. The guide device may comprise two vertical rods, which z. B. are attached by means of suction cups on a wall, the brush roller is preferably attached to one of the one to the other guide rod continuous wave. For this purpose, the brush roller is divided in a plane containing the longitudinal axis. It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a personal care brush which is simple in construction and which is easy to assemble and operate.

The solution of the problem is defined by the features of claim 1. The brush holder has a continuously adjustable transition piece along a sliding rail fastened to a wall, the brush is hollow and open at the bottom and can be turned over the drive unit in such a way that it is driven by the electric motor via a driver. The brush holder further comprises a bent tube, an open top bracket for a motor mount and a battery holder for receiving batteries for feeding the electric motor.

The body care brush has a correspondingly simple structure. The brush is also removable with a hand movement and put back.

A slight inclination of about 5 - 10 ° better reflects the anatomy of the back than with a vertical brush. The invention as a whole proves a great service in its simplicity to elderly and slightly disabled people and for all people a more comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable body care.

The body care brush is put into operation by pressure against the brush and switched off again by releasing the pressure. The device is thus switched on and off in a simple manner by leaning against the brush.

So that the body care brush driven by an electric motor fulfills its task, it is mounted in the shower or bath area near the shower head on the wall and can thus be used during the showering process. The length and mounting position of the slide can be selected according to individual needs. The inventive body care brush is basically adjustable with one hand in height.

Due to the height adjustment, this body care brush is not only intended for the back, but can also be used for the care of the hands, arms, shoulders, the décolleté, the legs or other parts of the body. Through various interchangeable brushes, the strength of the brush, thickness and number of bristles, can be selected individually and anyone can thus use his preferred brush.

In addition to easy operation, this body care brush is also easy to install. The slide is top and bottom with a continuously adjustable bracket, for example attached to a smooth surface such as Wandplättli by two suction cups or by two screws screwed to the wall. The infinitely adjustable holder makes it possible to attach the suction cups in the middle of the plate, resp. to place the screws clean in the platelets. Attaching the device by means of suction cups has the great advantage that, for example, rented apartments do not have to be drilled in the wall, that the entire unit can be removed for thorough cleaning of the shower / bathing area and that the brush can even be installed during the holidays and afterwards it can be removed without a trace.

In addition, a manual on / off switch can be mounted, which facilitates the replacement and cleaning of the brush. For this purpose, the hollow and bottom open brush is placed over the drive unit and connected to this by a driver. With a simple hand movement, the brush is lifted out of the driver and can be easily removed and replaced.

By means of a special attachment, in the form of a suitable brush or roller, which is provided on its outside with a suitable tissue ("painter's role"), or by means of a cloth which can be inverted over the existing brush, the brush can not only be used with soap and water, but then to the body cleansing for the application of body lotion.

Ways to carry out the invention

The rotatable brush 1 is mounted vertically adjustable via a brush holder 2-5 on a slide rail 8. The slide 8 must be constructed in a way or have the shape so that the brush holder 2-5 does not rotate on the rail. The slide 8 can be attached to the wall in the shower or bathing area, for example, with screws, with suction cups or by special adhesive material. In the embodiment, the quadrangular rail 8 (square tube) made of stainless steel via one mounted at the top and bottom of the slide rail 8, continuously adjustable bracket 9 is fastened with two screws on the wall. The brush holder 2-5 made of stainless steel is fixed to the slide rail 8 with a height-infinitely adjustable transition piece 5, which is pressed by means of a type-like wing nut to the slide rail. The brush holder 2-5 consists of this transition piece 5, a battery holder 4, a bent tube 2 and a cylindrical and open-topped console 3 for the motor mount 6, wherein the actual holder for the brush at the end of the console 3 about 5 - 10 ° obliquely is placed. By reference to the brush 1 is by means of a pressure contact, which is located within the mounted on the brush holder bracket 3, the motor is put into operation and driven by the shaft of the driver and consequently the brush. It would be advantageous if the motor 7 runs at about 60 to 80 min-1. As soon as the pressure on the brush 1 is released, the motor 7 stops and consequently the brush 1 stops rotating.

1. Bodycare brush having a brush retaining member (2-5) and a brush (1) which can be rotationally fitted to the brush retaining member (2-5), the brush retaining member (2-5) having a transition piece (5) which can be adjusted in a stepless manner along a sliding rail (8) which can be secured to a wall, and a drive unit in which an electric motor (7) for driving the brush (1) is mounted so as to be protected from water, the brush (1) being hollow and open at the bottom and being able to be positioned over the drive unit in such a manner that it is driven by means of a carrier by the electric motor (7), characterised in that the brush retaining member (2-5) further comprises a bent pipe (2), an upwardly open bracket (3) for a motor retaining member (6) and an accumulator retaining member (4) for receiving accumulators in order to supply the electric motor (7) with electrical power.
