Timepiece (10) including a case (12) containing a watch movement (18) and at least one striking mechanism (20), and including a control device (28) for actuating an element (22) releasing the striking mechanism (20), of the type wherein the control device (28) includes an external manipulation member (30), which controls the travel of a piston (32) inside the case (12) between a rest position (Pr) and an end of travel position (Pf), from upstream to downstream, of the type wherein the piston (32) drives a control surface (64) which abuts against the release element (22) to drive the release element towards a stop position (Pa) determined by the striking mechanism (20), and of the type wherein the piston (32) is fitted with a resilient return element (58) which abuts on the case (12) so as to draw the piston (32) resiliently towards its rest position (Pr),
    characterized in that a resilient transmission element (68) is arranged between the piston (32) and the release element (22) and in that the travel of the piston (32) includes an active travel, from the rest position (Pr) of the piston (32) to an intermediate position (Pi) corresponding to the stop position (Pa) of the release element (22), during which the travel of the piston (32) is connected to the travel of the release element (22) via the resilient transmission element (68), and a passive travel during which the piston (32) slides against the resilient transmission element (68).
  2. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the control surface (64) is carried by an intermediate shoulder (66) which is slidably mounted in relation to the piston (32), and in that the resilient transmission element (68) is inserted between the intermediate sliding block (66) and the piston (32), and in that, during the active travel of the piston (32), the intermediate sliding block (66) is slidably connected to the piston (32) by the resilient transmission element (68) and, during the passive travel, the piston (32) slides relative to the sliding block (66) against the resilient transmission element (68).
  3. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the resilient transmission element (68) draws the intermediate sliding block (66) against a shoulder (78) of the piston (32) oriented upstream.
  4. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the shoulder (78) is arranged on an upstream stud (72) which is fixed to the piston (32).
  5. Timepiece (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the resilient transmission element (68) is a compression spring.
  6. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim taken in combination with claim 4, characterized in that the intermediate sliding block (66) includes a body (80) which extends substantially parallel to the piston (32), which is delimited by an upstream lug (82) and by a downstream lug (84), and in that the upstream lug (82) is drawn in abutment against the shoulder (78) of the piston (32), and in that the resilient transmission element (68) is inserted between the upstream stud (72) and the downstream lug (74).
  7. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the control surface (64) is formed by a shoulder made in the body (80) of the intermediate sliding block (66).
  8. Timepiece (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that the control surface (64) is fixed to the piston (32), and in that the release element (22) includes a pivoting arm (26) which is drawn towards the control surface (64) of the piston (32) by the resilient transmission element (68).
  9. Timepiece (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the return element (58) is inserted between a downstream stud (60) fixed to the piston (32) and an associated support surface (62) of the case (12).
  10. Timepiece (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the case (12) includes a generally cylindrical peripheral wall (34) and in that the piston (32) extends overall in a circumferential sliding direction (D1), along the inner face (35) of the peripheral wall (34).
  11. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the piston (32) has the general shape of a stem of circular section which extends along the circumferential sliding direction (D1).
  12. Timepiece (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the release element (22) pivots and includes a rack.
