From the DE 199 07 025 A1 a hair removal device with a liquid transport system is known, which allows a position and motion-independent storage and delivery of liquid. The liquid transport system has a liquid container, a drivable pumping device having a pump inlet and a pump outlet and a liquid dispensing device for wetting a human skin and / or hair with liquid. The liquid dispensing device can be coupled to the pump inlet via a first fluid line and to the liquid container via a second fluid line and can have a contact element made of an open-pore material, with the aid of which the liquid is dispensed.

The known hair removal devices each have relatively complex means for storing the liquid in the hair removal device and for applying the liquid to the skin of the user, so that in comparison to hair removal devices that do not have such additional function, sometimes considerable structural changes must be made. In addition, it is necessary in each case to provide a considerable installation space for the required components in the hair removal device.

The invention is therefore the object of a hair removal device with the least possible effort in such a way that thus an application of a liquid to the skin is possible.

This object is achieved by the combination of features of claim 1.

The electric hair removal device according to the invention for partially or completely removing hair from the skin is designed as a razor and has a housing and an application element arranged outside the housing for applying a liquid to the skin. The peculiarity of the hair removal device according to the invention is that the application element is designed as a liquid storage, which receives the entire liquid supply of the hair removal device.

The invention has the advantage that compared to a conventional hair removal device without liquid application, only a small additional effort is required and thereby a similar effect, as in elaborate hair removal devices with liquid application can be achieved. It is particularly advantageous that the hair removal device according to the invention for the application element no infrastructure such as a reservoir, a pump, connecting lines, etc. is required. That's it possible to develop almost any hair removal device with a relatively low cost according to the invention. In addition, no space is required for the infrastructure, so that the hair removal device according to the invention can be formed handy and shapely.

The hair removal device according to the invention is preferably designed so that the application element can be filled with the liquid exclusively from outside the housing. In particular, the application element can be impregnated with the liquid. This facilitates the filling and allows a very simple structural design of the application element. For this purpose, the application element may comprise an absorbent material and be formed, for example, as a sponge or a wick. Furthermore, the hair removal device according to the invention can be designed so that the application element emits liquid on contact with the skin.

In a preferred embodiment of the hair removal device according to the invention, this has a shaving head, in which the application element is integrated. The application element is arranged, for example, laterally next to an upper blade of the shaving head. It is particularly advantageous if the application element is arranged in the region between two adjacently arranged upper blades of the shaving head. In this case, the application element can each extend over the entire width of the upper blade, so that liquid is applied to the skin over the entire range of action of the upper blade.

The invention further relates to a filling station for a razor of the type presented, wherein the razor has a housing and an application element arranged outside the housing for applying a liquid to the skin. The filling station according to the invention is characterized in that it has a filling element for filling the application element with the liquid by means of a contacting contact between the application element of the shaver and the filling element.

The filling station according to the invention has the advantage that it is simple in construction and enables rapid filling of the application element with liquid.

The filling element preferably consists of a liquid-permeable material and may be connected to a liquid reservoir. In this case, the filling station is in particular designed such that liquid can be conveyed from the liquid reservoir to the filling element. In According to a preferred embodiment of the filling station, the filling element is arranged in a receiving device for receiving the hair removal device in the region of the application element. The receiving device may be designed to be movable between a first and a second position. In particular, the receiving device can be moved by a mechanical action of the hair removal device from the first to the second position. By the movement of the receiving device from the first to the second position, liquid can be conveyed from the liquid reservoir to the filling element. It is advantageous if the receiving device is biased by an elastic element to the first position. With this design of the filling station according to the invention, the filling of the application element can be carried out very comfortably.

In a further development, the filling station according to the invention has a charging part for supplying the hair removal device with a charging current. Likewise, the filling station according to the invention may have a cleaning device for cleaning the hair removal device.

A replacement of the liquid dispensed successively during filling of the application element can be made possible in different ways. For example, the filling station can have a replaceable storage container for the liquid. Likewise, it is also possible that the filling station has a filling opening for refilling the liquid. According to a further variant, the filling station is designed as a disposable article.

In the inventive system with an electric hair removal device and a filling station, the hair removal device and / or the filling station are formed in the manner described above. In particular, the hair removal device can be picked up by the filling station so that the application element of the hair removal device touchingly touches the filling element of the filling station.

Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of an inventive electric shaver 1 in perspective view. The razor 1 has a housing 2 with two mutually spaced brackets 3, on which a shaving head 4 is pivotally suspended. On the housing 2, a long-hair trimmer 5 and a switch 6 for switching on and off of the shaver 1 and for extending the long-hair trimmer 5 are further arranged. The shaving head 4 has a removable removable frame 7, in the two shear sheets 8 are clamped arched. In the area between the two shaving foils 8, an application element 9 is arranged which extends over the entire width of the shear foils 8. With regard to its height, the application element 9 is aligned with the shear foils 8 or projects slightly beyond them. The application element 9 is made of an absorbent material, for example in the form of a sponge or a wick, which is able to store liquid.

Alternatively to the in Fig. 1 illustrated embodiment, in which the application element 9 replaces a middle cutter arranged between the two shaving foils 8, the application element 9 can also be arranged in a number of other positions. For example, the application element 9 can be arranged laterally next to the central cutter, so that the central cutter is still present. Likewise, it is also possible to arrange the application element 9 laterally on the shaving head 4 and thus pre-store one of the two shaving foils 8. In this case, two application elements 9 can be provided, one of which is preceded by one of the shear foil 8. In a further variant, the application element 9 is arranged in a position corresponding to the long-hair trimmer 5 and can be extended as required.

The application element 9 is used during application of the shaver 1 to apply the liquid stored in it to the skin of the user. For this purpose, the application element 9 is designed so that it emits liquid on contact with the skin. Depending on the design of the application element 9, there is a discharge of fluid even in the case of a pressureless skin contact or only when the application element 9 is pressed against the skin. A pump or a similar conveyor is not required for each. The liquid is also delivered against gravity, so that the shaver 1 can be handled in the usual way. If there is no skin contact, the liquid dispensing is omitted, even if the razor 1 is held by the user so that the shaving head 4 and thus also the application element 9 pointing downwards.

The liquid stored in the application element 9 serves to support the shaving process. For this purpose, for example, the liquid is composed to improve the sliding properties of the sheeting 8 on the skin and to give the user a feeling of freshness. Likewise, the liquid may also have a disinfecting effect. The liquid according to the invention need not necessarily be thin, but may also have a relatively high viscosity, such as a lotion.

Since no reservoir is provided in the housing 2 of the razor 1, only the amount of liquid stored in the application element 9 is available. Depending on the design of the application element 9, this quantity may be sufficient for a complete shaving operation, so that the application element 9 only has to be filled with liquid for the next shaving operation. Likewise, it is also possible that it is necessary during the shaving interim, to fill the application element 9 with liquid and then continue the shaving process. For filling the application element 9 with liquid, the device described below can be used.

Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of an inventively designed filling station 10 for filling the application element 9 of the razor 1 in a perspective view. The filling station 10 has a hollow cylindrical lower part 11, which is closed by an upper part 12. In the upper part 12, an insert 13 is integrated, which has a trough-shaped receiving trough 14 for receiving the shaving head 4 of the shaver 1. Furthermore, two holes 15 are located in the region of the upper part 12. In fact, only one hole 15 is needed. In the following, however, two embodiments of a mechanism for closing the perforations 15th described, wherein each one embodiment of the two perforations 15 is assigned.

Fig. 3 shows that in Fig. 2 illustrated embodiment of the filling station 10 in a sectional view. Another sectional view of the filling station 10, in which the sectional plane relative to Fig. 3 rotated 90 degrees around the vertical is in Fig. 4 shown. The lower part 11 of the filling station 10 has a conically shaped bottom 16 with a cylindrical central region 17, which forms the lowest point of the bottom 16. To the upper part 12, the lower part 11 is sealed by an O-ring 18 which is inserted into an annular circumferential radial groove 19 of an outer cylindrical portion 20 of the upper part 12. The upper part 12 has the shape of a multi-stage funnel, which opens into the central region 17 of the bottom 16 of the lower part 11. Together with the lower part 11, the upper part 12 encloses a liquid-filled lower chamber 21. Before the first filling of the application element 9, the lower chamber 21 is filled up to a filling level 22 with liquid. Together with the insert 13, the upper part 12 also encloses an upper chamber 23, which is arranged above the lower chamber 21. About a formed in the upper part 12 connecting channel 24, the lower chamber 21 and the upper chamber 23 are interconnected.

The insert 13 is slidably disposed in the upper part 12 and has for this purpose a cylindrical wall portion 25 which is slidable in a cylindrical receiving portion 26 of the upper part 12. The sliding movement runs in the case of the set up on a horizontal surface filling station 10 in the vertical direction. At the cylindrical receiving portion 26, two radially inwardly facing pins 27 are formed, which engage in corresponding slots 28 of the insert 13. As a result, the stroke of the sliding movement of the insert 13 is limited relative to the upper part 12 and the insert 13 captively fixed to the upper part 12. Furthermore, a rotation of the insert 13 relative to the upper part 12 is prevented. The insert 13 is supported parallel to the direction of displacement via a compression spring 29 on the upper part 12, so that for moving the insert 13 relative to the upper part 12 of the in the Fig. 3 and 4 shown position, the restoring force of the compression spring 29 must be overcome and the compression spring 29 pushes the insert 13 back to its original position when no external force acts on the insert 13.

The holes 15 in the insert 13 are each closed by means of a vent valve 30, wherein in Fig. 4 two embodiments of the ventilation valve 30 are shown. In a concrete realization of the filling station 10, only one perforation 15 is generally present, which is closed by means of a ventilation valve 30 according to one of these embodiments. In the exemplary embodiment of the ventilation valve 30 shown on the left, the perforation 15 is closed by a flap 31 resting against the inside of the insert 13. The flap 31 is made of an elastic material and is fixed in an area laterally adjacent to the perforation 15 in a manner not shown figuratively on the insert 13. At a negative pressure in the upper chamber 23 relative to the environment, the flap 31 partially lifts off from the insert 13 and thereby releases the perforation 15 in part, so that a pressure equalization can take place with the environment. Thereafter, the flap 31 closes the hole 15 again due to their elasticity. At an overpressure in the upper chamber 23 relative to the environment, the flap 31 is pressed against the insert 13 and thereby continues to close the perforation 15, so that over the perforation 15 can take place no pressure compensation. Thus, the flap 31 causes a negative pressure in the upper chamber 23 degrades, however, an overpressure is maintained. The same function is realized in the embodiment of the ventilation valve 30 shown on the right by means of a ball 32, which is pressed by a valve spring 33 against the inside of the insert 13 and thereby closes the hole 15. By a negative pressure in the upper chamber 23, the restoring force of the valve spring 33 can be overcome, so that the ball 32, the hole 15 releases. At an overpressure in the upper chamber 23, the ball 32 is pressed even more firmly against the insert 13, so that the perforation 15 remains closed.

At the bottom of the receiving trough 14 of the insert 13, a groove 34 is formed, in which a filling element 35 is inserted so that it protrudes partially from the groove 34. The filling element 35 is liquid-permeable, for example in the form of a wick or a porous material. As an alternative to the illustrated embodiment, the filling element 35 may have on its upper side a recess extending horizontally over the entire length, which recess is connected to a central through-hole running in the vertical direction. At the bottom of the channel 34 of the insert 13, an inlet opening 36 is formed centrally to the channel 34, via which a nozzle 37 opens into the channel 34. On the neck 37, a flexible hose 38 is wound up which extends within the upper part 12 into the vicinity of the central region 17 at the bottom 16 of the lower part 11 and is bevelled at its free end. The area of the nozzle 37 and the groove 34 is in Fig. 5 as an enlarged section of the Fig. 4 shown.

Das Befüllen des Applikationselements 9 des Rasierapparats 1 wird mit Hilfe der Füllstation 10 folgendermaßen durchgeführt:The filling of the application element 9 of the razor 1 is carried out with the aid of the filling station 10 as follows:

The shaver head 4 of the razor 1 is inserted into the receiving trough 14 of the filling station 10 until it rests against the bottom of the receiving trough 14, thereby producing a contacting contact between the application element 9 of the razor 1 and the filling element 35 of the filling station 10. Then, the insert 13 is moved by exerting a corresponding force on the razor 1, overcoming the restoring force of the compression spring 29 manually down until the insert 13 abuts in the region of the slots 28 to the pin 27 of the upper part 12. As a result, the volume of the upper chamber 23 of the filling station 10 is reduced. Since an escape of the air in the upper chamber 23 via the closed vent valve 30 is not possible, the reduction of the volume causes a pressure increase in the upper chamber 23. Via the connecting channel 24, there is a pressure equalization between the upper chamber 23 and the lower Chamber 21, so that in the lower chamber 21, an overpressure relative to the environment arises. The positive pressure in the lower chamber 21 has the consequence that liquid is displaced from the lower chamber 21 via the free end of the hose 38 into the hose 38, so that the liquid level in the hose 38 increases. Via the connecting piece 37 and the inlet opening 36, the liquid reaches the filling element 35, soaks it and emerges again, in particular on its surface.

A targeted liquid discharge at the top of the filling element 35 can be achieved, for example, in that the filling element 35 is made of a fibrous material in which the liquid transport is preferably carried out in a direction parallel to the fibers. The fibers extend from the bottom to the top of the filling element 35. Instead, or as an additional measure, it is also possible to provide the filling element 35 laterally with a coating which is not or only to a very small extent permeable to the liquid. Furthermore, the filling element 35 can be formed so that a liquid outlet takes place only where the application element 9 rests on the filling element 35. Also, the above-mentioned modification of the filling element 35, in which a recess and a through hole are provided, causes a liquid outlet at the top of the filling element 35th

The liquid emerging from the filling element 35 is received by the application element 9, which bears against the top side of the filling element 35. The blades 8 are not wetted with liquid. With the liquid outlet, a reduction of the pressure in the lower chamber 21 and the upper chamber 23 of the filling station 10 is connected. After the insert 13 is struck on the pin 27 and optionally remained in this position for a short time during which the application element 9 was filled with liquid, the force is exerted on the shaver 1 and the shaving head 4 from the receiving trough 14 of the filling station 10th away. This has the consequence that the insert 13 is moved back by the restoring force of the compression spring 29 to its original position. As a result, the volume of the upper chamber 23 increases and, in a corresponding manner, the pressure decreases. An optionally occurring in the upper chamber 23 negative pressure relative to the environment causes an opening of the vent valve 30, so that a pressure equalization is effected by the air flowing into the upper chamber 23 from the environment.

In order to enable a defined filling of the application element 9, the defined by the slots 28 of the insert 13 stroke can be matched to the application element 9, that the displaced by a single depression of the insert 13 amount of liquid sufficient to completely fill the application element 9. Likewise, it may also be provided to fill the application element 9 by repeatedly pressing down the insert 13, without temporarily removing the shaving head 4 of the razor 1 from the receiving trough 14.

In a modification of the procedure described, the compression spring 29, which moves the insert 13 back to its original position, dimensioned so that the shaver 1 for filling the application element 9 with liquid does not need to be actively depressed, but the weight of the shaver 1 is sufficient, the use 13 to move to its final position. In this case, the razor 1 is turned off only with the shaving head 4 ahead in the receiving trough 14 of the filling station 10. The insert 13 then shifts without manual intervention to the final position and thereby filled the application element 9 of the shaver 1 with liquid. Subsequently, the razor 1 is removed from the receiving trough 14 of the filling station 10 and the insert 13 moves driven by the compression spring 29 back to its original position.

After filling the application element 9 with liquid, shaving can be started or continued with the razor 1.

Due to the repeated filling of the application element 9 of the razor 1, the filling station 10 is gradually emptied. When the level 22 of the liquid in the lower chamber 21 has dropped so far that a further filling of the application element. 9 is no longer possible, depending on the design of the filling station 10 is different. According to a first variant, the filling station 10 is disposed of completely, and replaced by a new filling station 10 filled with liquid. According to a second variant, a replaceable reservoir for the liquid is removed from the filling station 10 and replaced by a new reservoir filled with liquid. The second variant requires some structural adjustments of the above-described embodiment of the filling station 10. In a third variant, the filling station 10 is filled with the aid of a refill bottle. For this purpose, a corresponding filling opening at the filling station 10 is required.

The filling station 10 can be developed so that it additionally has a loading part for the shaver 1. For this purpose, the filling station 10 may have in a region outside the insert 13 via a holding device for receiving the razor 1 with its shaving head 4 opposite end. There charging contacts are provided on the shaver 1, which are contacted by corresponding contacts of the charging part in the region of the holding device electrically.

Furthermore, the filling station 10 can also be combined with a cleaning station for the shaving head 4 of the shaver 1. It is possible to provide a single fluid circuit and to fill the application element 9 of the shaver 1 with the same liquid, which is also used for the cleaning of the shaving head 4. Alternatively, two liquid circuits may be provided so that the application element 9 of the razor 1 can be filled with a liquid other than the cleaning liquid.

The invention is not only suitable for a shaver 1, but can also be used for example in an epilator.
