Control panel for a household refrigeration appliance, with a base panel (1) provided for fastening to a housing of the household refrigeration appliance, a control circuit for the household refrigeration appliance arranged on a circuit board (3), and an adapter (2) which holds the control circuit in the base panel (1), characterised in that the adapter (2) has latching means (17) which engage on the circuit board (3), the circuit board (3) is accommodated in a depression (15) of the adapter (2), and the depression (15) is open towards a rear side of the adapter (2) that faces away from the visible side of the base panel (1),
    wherein the control panel has an inlay (4), wherein the control panel (1) is an elongated hollow body made of plastic, which on a visible side facing towards a user of the refrigeration appliance has a depression (5) which is dimensioned such that it accommodates the inlay (4) with a positive fit, so that the two together form a flush and closed visible side of the base panel (1),
    wherein formed in the depression (5) is an elongated cutout (6), which extends over the majority of the rear side of the inlay (4), and through which, when the control panel is fully assembled, transformers between buttons or rotary switches arranged at openings (10) of the inlay (4) extend through the adapter to corresponding switching elements (13) on the circuit board (3) of the control circuit,
    wherein the cutout (6) also forms a window, through which lighting display elements can be identified through a transparent or translucent window of the inlay (4) for a user standing in front of the refrigeration appliance.
  2. Control panel according to claim 1, characterised in that the control panel (1) has a visible side, to which control and/or display facilities are attached, and transformers (18) for coupling the control and/or display facilities to the control circuit are held in the adapter (2).
  3. Control panel according to claim 1, characterised in that the depression (15) is surrounded by a wall (11), the contour of which is adapted to the contour of the circuit board (3).
  4. Control panel according to claim 3, characterised in that the wall (11) is embodied as resiliently deformable and carries latching means (17), which hold the circuit board (3) in its correct position on the adapter (3).
  5. Control panel according to claim 4, characterised in that the circuit board (3) lies against supports (16) in its correct position.
