Abstract
The invention relates to a supporting structure in the form of a hollow profiled element of a driver's cab of a utility vehicle comprising an internal combustion engine. The aim of the invention is to save space and materials. To this end, the supporting structure is embodied in such a way as to take on the function of another functional part. One such supporting structure is characterised in that at least one section of the inner region of the hollow profiled element is used to guide intake air between an intake location facing the atmosphere and the intake region of the internal combustion engine, wherefore the hollow profiled element comprises corresponding supply and discharge openings (3, 2).

Bei DΞ-U 1 727 916 umfasst ein Fahrzeuglängsträger eines Personenwagens ein Rohr, das zur Führung von Heizungsluft verwendet wird. Aus DE 25 37 691 AI ist ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem Zentralrohr als tragendem Rahmenbauteil bekannt, wobei der Innenraum dieses Zentralrohres durch gasdichte Zwischenböden in mehrere, hintereinanderlie- gende Druckvorratsbehälter unterteilt ist. EP 0 360 428 Bl zeigt Längsträger als Tragelemente von Kraftfahrzeugen, deren Innenraum zur Unterbringung von verschiedenen Fahrzeugaggregateteilen eingesetzt wird. Bei DE-OS 2 248 219 sind in der Bodengruppe eines Kraftwagenaufbaus als Längsschweller dienende hohle Träger eingesetzt. In diesen Trägern sind Behälter als Vorratsbehälter für Saugluft angeordnet, wobei diese Behälter sich nahezu über die gesamte Länge der hohlen Träger erstrecken.
