Claims (15)
- A lock with a non-sliding bolt (26, 126, 226), such as a pull-turn bolt or a tilting bolt, with a tolerance compensating device, in particular for mounting in thin walls, such as sheet metal cabinets with a frame and door, wherein the lock has a case (18, 218) which axially displaceably and rotatably holds a pull-turn bolt (26, 226), or a case (118), which supports a tilting bolt (126), wherein the bolt (26, 126, 226) is provided near its free end with a bore (32, 132, 232), in which a rearward engagement device (68, 168, 268), when the lock is in the closed position, is held such that it can be displaced perpendicularly to the rearward engagement plane, characterised in that the rearward engagement device (68, 168, 268) has a spring (33, 133, 233) which, when the lock (10, 110, 210) is in the closed position, urges the rearward engagement device (68, 168, 268) towards the rearward engagement surface (36).
- The lock according to claim 1, characterised in that the rearward engagement device (68, 168, 268) is a head bolt (34,134, 234) which is displaceable in the bolt (26,126, 226) against spring tension (33, 133, 233).
- The lock according to claim 2, characterised in that the base of the head bolt (34, 134, 234) bears a retaining ring (66, 166, 266) which limits the movement of the head bolt due to the spring tension (33, 133, 233).
- The lock according to claim 2, characterised in that the head (68, 268) of the head bolt (34, 234) is crowned or rounded.
- The lock according to one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the bolt represents a pull-turn bolt (26) of a lock (10), in particular of a lock for mounting in thin walls, such as a door leaf (12) and a door frame (62), wherein the lock (10) includes a lock drive shaft (24) which is provided with an outer thread (22) and which axially adjustably holds the pull-turn bolt (26), characterised in that the pull-turn bolt (26) bears or forms an inner thread (38) for screwing-in the lock drive shaft (24) as well as one side of a coupling which functions in a form-fitting manner, such as a claw coupling (42) of which the other side is held by the lock drive shaft (24) in a non-rotating rigid manner.
- The lock according to one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the bolt represents a pull-turn bolt (226) of a lock (210), in particular of a lock (210) for mounting in thin walls, such as sheet metal cabinets with a frame (62) and a door (12), wherein the lock includes a lock drive shaft (224) which is provided with an outer thread (222) and which axially adjustably holds the pull-turn bolt (226), characterised in that the drive shaft (224) has a non-round cross-section, e.g. an axially running groove (284) or flat and the bolt (226) has an opening which fits this cross-section, and in that there are provided holding devices (254), which urge the bolt (226) outwards, and stop devices (284) which axially hold the bolt, such as a screw nut (284) which can be screwed onto the drive shaft.
- The lock according to claim 5, characterised in that the drive shaft (24) has a non-round cross-section, for example an axially running groove or flat (52, 74), and the claw coupling (42) part, which is non-rotating in respect of the drive shaft, has an opening (50) which fits this cross-section, and in that there are provided holding devices (54) which press the coupling parts (42, 40) or coupling sides onto one another.
- The lock according to claim 7, characterised in that the holding devices are formed by a spiral spring (54) pushed onto the shaft (24).
- The lock according to claim 8, characterised in that the coupling part (42) adjacent the spring (54) has a protruding edge or grip collar (56).
- The lock according to claim 7, characterised in that the holding devices are formed by a screw nut, such as a knurled nut, screwed onto the shaft (24).
- The lock according to one of claims 7 to 10, characterised in that the actuation shaft (24), which is non-round in cross-section, has at least one axially running flat (70, 72), and in that this flat bears an adjusting dial (74).
- The lock according to one of claims 7 to 11, characterised in that the claw coupling configured as a coupling disc (42) or locking disc has four claws or projections/recesses (44, 46) arranged at a spacing of 90 degrees.
- The lock according to claim 12, characterised in that the opening of the locking disc (42) and the cross-section of the shaft are formed, e.g. are provided with four chords or flats, such that four positions offset by 90 degrees between the locking disc (42) and the shaft, and thus a 90 degree locking, are possible.
- The lock according to one of claims 10 to 13, characterised in that the turning bolt configured as a tongue (226) has a toothed surface (56) which engages a toothed surface (58) of the knurled nut (284) such that this locks.
- The lock according to one of Claims 8 to 14, characterised in that the turning bolt configured as a tongue (226) has a counterboring (60) for receiving the compressed spring (254).
