Außerdem kann ein Bodenbelag an das Rinnenprofil angeschlossen werden, wenn für eine entsprechende Abstützung des Bodenbelages im Bereich des Rinnenprofils gesorgt und damit eine randseitige Überlastung des Bodenbelages vermieden wird. Zu diesem Zweck bilden die Rinnenprofile auf beiden Seiten der Rinnenöffnung einen Aufnahmeflansch für den Bodenbelag. Damit das Rinnenprofil im Randbereich der Rinnenöffnung eine zur Aufnahme der auftretenden Belastungen ausreichende Steifigkeit aufweist, sind die die Rinnenöffnung begrenzenden Profilwände mit nach außen abgewinkelten Randstegen versehen, an die sich ein gegen den Rinnenboden zurückgebogener Anschlußsteg mit dem von diesem Anschlußsteg ausgehenden Aufnahmeflansch anschließt. Der Bodenbelag, beispielsweise ein Belag aus Fliesen, kann somit bis an den Anschlagsteg des im Estrich eingebetteten Rinnenprofils verlegt werden, ohne einen Bruch der Fliesen im Bereich des Anschlußrandes befürchten zu müssen, weil die Belastung des Randbereiches der Fliesen über den einerseits am Estrich und anderseits am Anschlußsteg des Rinnenprofils abgestützten Aufnahmeflansch auf den Untergrund abgetragen werden kann. Nachteilig ist allerdings, daß der hinterschnittene Bereich zwischen den die Rinnenöffnung begrenzenden Profilwänden und den mit diesen Profilwänden über die Randstege verbundenen Anschlußstegen sorgfältig hinterfüllt werden muß und daß die Randstege beidseits der Rinnenöffnung die Schlitzrinne im Erscheindungsbild des Bodenbelages auffällig machen.So-called slot channels are characterized by a slot-like channel opening in the floor, opposite which the channel profile widens against the channel floor. Dazu kommt, daß der Fußbodenbelag aufgrund des Anliegens der Anschlußstege an der Außenseite der die Rinnenöffnung begrenzenden Profilwände bis unmittelbar an die Rinnenöffnung heranreichen kann. Dies stellt eine wesentliche Voraussetzung dafür dar, daß die Schlitzrinne im Erscheinungsbild des Fußbodenbelages in den Hintergrund treten kann. Die Rinnenöffnung wird ja lediglich als verbreiterte Fuge zwischen den an die Schlitzrinne anschließenden Abschnitten des Bodenbelages wahrgenommen.
