FIG. 3 shows details of the lamp vessel 1 and the pinch seal 11. The pinch seal 11 has two opposite broad sides 110 and two opposite narrow end faces 111. It is formed substantially cuboid. The molybdenum foils 112, 113 welded to the inner power supply lines 21, 22 and the power supply wires 23, 24 are embedded gas-tight in the presser foot 11. The angled ends 231, 241 of the power supply wires 23, 24 overlap with the molybdenum foils 112, 113, respectively, and are welded to the molybdenum foils 112, 113, respectively. In this overlapping region, the two tabs 32 abut against the broad sides 110 of the pinch seal 11, so that the pinch seal 11 is arranged between the two tabs 32 with a clamping fit. One of the two narrow end faces 111 of the pinch seal 11 is provided with a sawtooth-shaped profile which extends in the longitudinal direction of the lamp or the lamp vessel 1 and which consists of three notches 1110. This profile 1110 together with at least one of the three in the FIG. 4 illustrated locking tabs 33 which are integrally formed on the base sleeve 3 and extend into the interior of the base sleeve 3, a latching connection. After inserting the pinch seal 11 in the base sleeve 3 snap the locking tabs 33 behind the teeth of the sawtooth-shaped profile 1110 and prevent so that the pinch seal 11 can be pulled out of the base sleeve 3 again. The locking tabs 33 are resilient, so that the narrow end faces 111 of the pinch seal 11 are also arranged with a press fit in the base sleeve 3. Each of the two wide sides 110 of the pinch seal 11 is provided with an integrally formed pair of guide webs 114, 115 extending in the longitudinal direction of the lamp or the lamp vessel 1, which interact in each case with a pair of tabs 34, 35 formed on the base sleeve 3, to allow an exact alignment of the lamp vessel 1 relative to the base sleeve 3. The tabs 34, 35 are each formed on two opposite, extending in the longitudinal direction of the lamp edges of arranged in the region of the pinch seal 11 openings 30 of the base sleeve 3 and are located with a press fit on the wide sides 110 of the pinch seal 11. The guide webs 114, 115 serve the free ends of the tabs 34, 35 as a stop. Two pairs of nubs 116, 117 formed on the broad sides 110 of the pinch seal 11 cooperate with each guide tab 361 formed on the metallic base shell 3 and extending into the aperture 30 to provide accurate alignment and alignment To ensure leadership of the pinch seal 11 in the base sleeve 3.

Details of the base sleeve 3 are in the FIGS. 4 and 5 displayed. The base sleeve 3 has four more attachment tabs 362, which rest in the region of the apertures 30 with a press fit on the wide sides of the pinch seal 11. In addition, the base sleeve 3 has two integrally formed shielding plates 37 which shield the lamp base against the light emitted by the incandescent filament 2. The substantially cuboid base sleeve 3 has on two opposite sides in each case two recesses 38, which serve for welding the power supply wires 23, 24 with the contact lug 31 or the contact lug 5.
