Abstract

The clipper has a motor connected to a cutting guide via an endless screw. The guide is operated by a program stored in a microprocessor to provide manual and automatic modes to a user. A preset hair cutting length is selected by the user through up and down buttons and the guide is displaced towards a desired position, in the manual mode. An average hair cutting length e.g. short length, is selected, the guide is displaced towards a determined height and a zone of a cranium to be treated is displayed, in the automatic mode, where the cutting lengths are symbolized by pictograms.

  2. Hair clipper as in Claim 1, wherein said electronic device comprises a circuit with a transistor and/or a diode.
  3. Hair clipper as in Claim 1, wherein said clipper comprises pictograms showing the user the options for different haircuts.
  4. Hair clipper as in Claim 1, wherein said regulation device is incorporated into the housing of said hair clipper.
  5. Hair clipper as in Claim 1, wherein said device comprises a shaft connecting said cutting guide to the motor.
  6. Hair clipper as in Claim 5, wherein the shaft is a worm screw.
