Plaque de blindage composite (63) pour absorber et dissiper l'énergie cinétique de projectiles de perforation de blindage à grande vitesse, ainsi que de projectiles explosifs, ladite plaque comprenant une seule couche intérieure de pastilles qui sont bordées et retenues sous la forme d'une plaque par un matériau élastique, sensiblement intérieurement dans ledit matériau élastique, de telle manière que les pastilles sont bordées dans une pluralité de rangées et de colonnes fournissant un support latéral mutuel, lesdites pastilles étant faites de matériau céramique, dans laquelle une majorité de chacune desdites pastilles est sensiblement en contact avec au moins trois pastilles adjacentes et au moins une majorité desdites pastilles (68, 75) sont sensiblement de forme cylindrique avec au moins une face d'extrémité courbée convexement, dans laquelle des espaces (68) formés entre lesdites pastilles cylindriques adjacentes (66, 75) sont seulement en partie remplies avec un matériau pour empêcher l'écoulement du métal mou venant des projectiles d'impact à travers lesdits espaces, ledit matériau anti-écoulement étant sous la forme d'une pastille insérée qui est en contact avec au plus seulement l'un des côtés de trois pastilles cylindriques adjacentes, ladite pastille d'insert étant sous la forme d'un cylindre (4, 24, 44) pourvu de saillies (10, 30, 50) sous la forme de saillies latérales venant de surfaces sensiblement verticales (12, 32, 52) de ladite pastille d'insert sensiblement cylindrique lesdites saillies étant séparées les unes des autres par des zones de surface courbées convexement (14, 34, 54) de ladite pastille d'insert (2, 22, 44), lesdites saillies (10, 30, 50) s'étendant seulement partiellement dans les espaces (68) formés entre les côtés de six pastilles cylindriques adjacentes (66, 75), et bloquant une partie en coupe majeure desdites espaces (68), chacune desdites saillies étant en relation espacée par rapport à l'un desdits deux cylindres adjacents (66, 75) vers lesquels il fait saillie, lesdites pastilles et ledit matériau anti-écoulement étant bordés et retenus sous la forme d'une plaque par un matériau solidifié, dans lequel ledit matériau solidifié et ladite plaque sont élastiques.
  2. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle ledit matériau anti-écoulement est formé d'un seul bloc comme une partie de ladite pastille d'insert (2, 22, 44) spéciale.
  3. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle lesdites saillies (10, 30, 50) sont sous la forme de saillies latérales depuis des surfaces sensiblement verticales (12, 32, 52) de ladite pastille d'insert sensiblement cylindrique lesdites saillies étant séparées les unes des autres par des zones de surface courbées convexement (14, 34, 54) de ladite pastille d'insert (2, 22, 44).
  4. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle la hauteur desdites saillies (10, 30) est inférieure à la hauteur des corps cylindriques (4, 24) depuis lesquels elles font saillie.
  5. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle lesdites saillies (10) sont pourvues de surfaces sensiblement demi-cylindriques (16).
  6. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle lesdites saillies (50) sont sensiblement sous la forme de prismes triangulaires inclinés vers l'extérieur.
  7. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle lesdites saillies (30) émergent de manière inclinée depuis ladite pastille cylindrique (22), ont sensiblement des surfaces semi-circulaires (36), et une face d'extrémité (38) qui fusionne avec une face d'extrémité courbée convexement (26) de ladite pastille cylindrique (22).
  8. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle au moins l'une des faces supérieure et inférieure (58, 60) desdites saillies (50) sont en biseau.
  9. Pastille d'insert (2, 22, 44) destinée à être utilisée dans une plaque de blindage composite pour absorber et dissiper l'énergie cinétique de projectiles de perforation de blindage à grande vitesse, ainsi que de projectiles explosif, caractérisés en ce que ladite pastille d'insert est sous la forme d'un cylindre (4, 24, 44) pourvu de saillies (10, 30, 50) sous la forme de saillies latérales venant de surfaces sensiblement verticales (12, 32, 52) de ladite pastille d'insert sensiblement cylindrique lesdites saillies étant séparées les unes des autres par des zones de surface courbées convexement (14, 34, 54) de ladite pastille d'insert (2, 22, 44).
  10. Pastille d'insert (2, 22) selon la revendication 9, dans laquelle dans lequel la hauteur desdites saillies (10, 30) est inférieure à la hauteur du corps cylindrique (4, 24) depuis lequel elles font saillie.
  11. Pastille d'insert selon la revendication 9, dans laquelle lesdites saillies (10) sont pourvues de surfaces sensiblement demi-cylindriques (16).
  12. Pastille d'insert selon la revendication 9, dans laquelle lesdites saillies (50) sont sensiblement sous la forme de prismes triangulaires inclinés vers l'extérieur.
  13. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle une majorité desdites pastilles ont au moins une face d'extrémité courbée convexement orientée pour faire face sensiblement dans la direction d'une surface majeure de réception d'impact extérieur de ladite plaque.
  14. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle lesdites pastilles ont au moins un axe d'au moins 9 mm.
  15. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle lesdites pastilles ont au moins un axe d'au moins 20 mm.
  16. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle chacune desdites pastilles est formée d'un matériau céramique sélectionné dans le groupe consistant en de l'oxyde, des nitrures, des carbures et des borures d'alumine, de magnésium, de zirconium, de tungstène, de molybdène, de titane et de silice frittés.
  17. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle chacune desdites pastilles est formée d'un matériau sélectionné dans le groupe consistant en l'alumine, le carbure de bore, le nitrure de bore, le diborure de titane, le carbure de silice, l'oxyde de silice, le nitrure de silice, l'oxyde de magnésium, l'oxynitrure d'aluminium de silice et des mélanges de ceux-ci.
  18. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle ledit matériau et ladite plaque (83) sont élastiques.
  19. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce qu'un canal est placé dans une pluralité desdites pastilles pour réduire le poids par surface de celles-ci.
  20. Plaque de blindage composite selon la revendication 13, dans laquelle ledit canal occupe un volume de jusqu'à 25% de ladite pastille.
  21. Pastille d'insert selon la revendication 9, dans laquelle ladite plaque (63) est du type comprenant une seule couche intérieure de pastilles qui sont bordées et retenues sous la forme d'une plaque par un matériau élastique, sensiblement intérieurement dans ledit matériau élastique, de telle manière que les pastilles sont bordées dans une pluralité de rangées et de colonnes fournissant un support latéral mutuel, lesdites pastilles étant faites de matériau céramique, dans laquelle une majorité de chacune desdites pastilles est sensiblement en contact avec au moins trois pastilles adjacentes et au moins une majorité desdites pastilles sont sensiblement de forme cylindrique avec au moins une face d'extrémité courbée convexement.
