Abstract

L'invention concerne une munition perforante (1) comprenant un corps de pénétration (2) délimitant une cavité interne (3) fermée par un culot (4).
Le corps de pénétration (2) est réalisé en un matériau ayant une limite élastique supérieure ou égale à 1200 Méga Pascals et comporte une pointe avant (2a) comprenant au moins un insert (7) solidaire de la pointe (2a), insert (7) réalisé en un matériau à hautes caractéristiques mécaniques, plus dense que celui du corps (2) et disposé dans un logement (15) débouchant à l'extérieur du corps (2), chaque insert (7) étant constitué par un barreau sensiblement cylindrique logé dans un alésage (15) du corps de pénétration (2).
