Description

Holzwandkonstruktion in Blockbohlen bauweise Wooden wall construction in logs
Beschreibungdescription
The invention relates to a wooden wall construction in log construction, whereby stacked and possibly adjacent wooden beams are connected to each other with the aid of screws which are bridged to bridge the mutual contact area of two wooden beams from the top or the underside of the two wooden beams and only over part of them Height or thickness of each wooden beam are guided.
When constructing such a wooden wall construction in block plank construction, the stacked wooden beams are connected by screws, whereby a problem naturally lies in the fact that the screws do not guarantee a positive connection in the long term due to the volume changes caused by shrinkage and swelling. The utility model DE 29920853 IM, from which a wooden wall construction of the type mentioned is known, provides for eliminating the aforementioned problem to provide each screw below the head with a spiral spring, which generate permanent pressure by screwing in and countersinking the screw thread and thus for absolute Strength of the beam wall should ensure. At least because of this spiral spring, each screw hole must be pre-drilled to accommodate this spiral spring in the known wooden wall construction.
Another known embodiment provides (EP-0787866B1) that machine screws which are matched to a position of wooden beams are inserted into predrilled holes, the screws being operatively connected to one another by providing threaded bores in the head of the screws, into which the threaded holes provided end of the shaft of the next screw can be screwed. A type of continuous fastening rod is thereby formed, the head of each individual screw being supported on the upper side of a wooden beam.
A block plank for the construction of wooden houses is known from DE 19828 275 A1. If two such logs are placed on top of each other and connected by screws, a hole is drilled for each screw, which turns out to be a through hole extends completely through the upper screed, so that the thread of the screw only engages in the lower screed.
From DE 100 13810 A1, a carrier made of wood with sections loaded with transverse tension is known. Such sections have a particular effect in the area of cutouts or openings in the carrier. In order to absorb the transverse tensile load, rod-shaped elements are used which run transversely to the longitudinal direction of the carrier and are formed by screws. These screws are screwed in from the top or from the bottom of the girder and each lead only over part of the height of the girder and are therefore directly assigned to the zone subjected to transverse pull. This prior art therefore only affects a single wooden beam, but not its connection to another wooden beam.
From German utility model DE 9307029 U1 it is known to connect outer wall block planks to one another by means of cross nailing.
The present invention has for its object to provide a wooden wall construction using screws, which is quick and easy to manufacture and in which an optimal attachment of the supported wooden beams can be done.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the wooden beams are connected to one another by screws provided with threaded sections at least at their two end regions, which are screwed in without predrilling and only extend over part of the height or thickness of the wooden beam and thus only engage in the area of direct contact between the two wooden beams , wherein the length of the screws is made smaller than the height of a wooden beam.
According to the invention, the screws only engage in the area of direct contact between the two wooden beams and are screwed in without predrilling. Only significantly shorter screws are required, which is why they are recessed particularly deep. Due to the much shorter screws to be used, special material and therefore cost savings can be achieved. In addition, the significantly shorter shaft with a thread significantly reduces the screwing torque compared to a long screw. The significantly shorter dimensions of the screws used in the invention also result in a faster and shorter setting time. The creation of a wooden wall construction is made much easier and faster by the measures according to the invention. In particular, this ensures that the connection maintains its performance even in the event of changes in volume of the wooden parts to be connected due to shrinkage and swelling. The connection remains stiff even after repeated shrinkage and swelling of the wooden beam.
In this context, it is advantageous if the screws protrude approximately equally far into the mutually adjacent wooden beams on both sides of the mutual contact area. Sufficient mutual fastening of two wooden beams lying one above the other is therefore always guaranteed. The screws are anchored in the same way in both wooden beams.
The simplest type of mutual connection of wooden beams is that in the mutual contact area of two wooden beams, at least two screws are screwed in at a distance approximately parallel to one another.
One design variant provides that the screws are threaded over their entire shaft length. This can be advantageous for manufacturing reasons. The transmission of tensile forces can also be improved by a longer thread engagement.
Furthermore, it is provided that the screws have an inner tool attack at one end, the diameter of the section of the screws surrounding this inner tool attack being approximately the same size or only slightly larger than the outer diameter of the thread. In this way it has become possible, without a particular increase in the screwing torque, to countersink the screws without pre-drilling a hole to such an extent that the screws only engage in the area of direct contact between the two wooden beams.
The type of mutual fastening of wooden beams according to the invention when erecting wooden wall constructions additionally enables simple sealing of the mutual contact area between two wooden beams. For this reason it is also provided that the screws are inserted between strip-shaped sealing materials arranged or inserted on the edge regions of the mutual abutment region of the wooden beams.
One variant provides that the screws are screwed in at right angles to the longitudinal extension of the wooden beams. This also specifies the shortest screw-in distance. Another possibility is when the screws are screwed in at an acute angle to the length of the wooden beams. As a result, even higher tensile and compressive forces can be transmitted during the mutual connection. The shear forces to be transmitted, ie the forces acting in the horizontal direction, can be dimensioned much higher.
In this context, it can be advantageous if the screws are screwed in both at right angles and at an acute angle to the longitudinal extension of the wooden beams, optionally alternately in succession. Depending on the required power transmission, the most optimal solution can be used.
An additional possibility is that the screws are screwed in pairs crossing one another at an acute angle to the longitudinal extent of the wooden beams or transversely to them. It is quite conceivable that the screws that are screwed in intersecting each other are also at an acute angle to the vertical center plane of the wall structure made of wooden beams.
Es zeigen:Embodiments of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
Fig.1 bis Fig. 3 Vertikalschnitte durch übereinander geschichtete Holzbalken verschiedener Querschnittsformen, welche durch Schrauben miteinander verbunden sind;1 to 3 vertical sections through stacked wooden beams of different cross-sectional shapes, which are connected by screws;
Fig. 4 to 6 side views of wooden wall structures formed from wooden beams, in which the screws are screwed in different ways.
In the wooden wall construction shown in block plank construction, wooden beams 1 are layered one above the other and the successive wooden beams 1 are connected to one another with the aid of screws 2. The wooden beams 1 are connected to one another by screws 2 provided with threaded sections 3 and 4 at least at their two end regions. These screws 2 are the mutual contact area of two wooden beams 1 bridged from the top or the bottom of the wooden beam 1 from without drilling a hole and are guided only over part A of the height or thickness B of the wooden beam 1. Thus, the screws 2 are only assigned to the directly mutual contact area 5 of two wooden beams 1. The screws are therefore screwed in without pre-drilling, so that the assembly time is significantly reduced. The screws 2 can only be provided with a threaded section 3 and 4 in the region of their two ends. However, it is also conceivable to provide a continuous thread over the entire length of the shaft. Different thread shapes, different thread pitches and different ratios between core diameter and outer thread diameter are possible within the scope of the invention. The design and mode of operation of the drilling and / or penetration tip to be formed at one free end can be carried out in various ways. The shape of the screw head is also variable, but it must be designed so that it can be brought into the deeply recessed position within the wooden beams without any particular problems. It is also conceivable that two thread sections have a different thread pitch. Although this increases the screwing torque considerably when screwing into the first wooden beam 1, it can be achieved that when the screws 2 engage in the two wooden beams 1 placed one on top of the other, they are tightened against one another in order to thereby increase the mutual contact force. Of course, a surface coating is also advantageous for the screws used here. A coating which reduces the screwing-in torque of the screws 2 is particularly suitable. Such a coating can also be applied in addition to an anti-corrosion coating, or the anti-torque effect can also emanate from this anti-corrosion coating.
The screws 2 protrude on both sides of the mutual contact area 5 approximately equally far into the adjacent wooden beams 1. The length C of the screws 2 is made smaller than the height B of a wooden beam 1.
In the mutual contact area 5 of two wooden beams 1, two or more than two screws 2 are screwed in at a spacing approximately parallel to one another.
It is possible to screw in the screws 2 at right angles to the longitudinal extension of the wooden beams 1 or at an acute angle to the longitudinal extension of the wooden beams 1 (see FIGS. 5 and 6). Depending on the requirement of the mutual connection of wooden beams 1, the cheapest type of connection can therefore be selected. It is therefore also possible to screw in the screws 2 alternately in succession both at right angles and at an acute angle to the longitudinal extent of the wooden beams 1. A variant also provides for screws 2 to be inserted in pairs. crossing the other at an acute angle to the longitudinal extension of the wooden beams 1.
The screws 2 have an inner tool grip 6 at one end, the diameter of the section of the screws 2 surrounding this inner tool grip 6 being approximately the same size or only slightly larger than the outer diameter of the thread.
The screws 2 can be screwed in with a screwdriver bit, the shank of which adjoins the area of engagement for attachment to the screw 2 or an imaginary envelope cylinder of this shank has a diameter which is equal to or smaller than the diameter of the section of the screw 2 surrounding the inner tool attack 6. Furthermore, this shank has a length for bridging the area of the height B of the wooden beam 1 from the inner tool attack 6 of the screw 2 to the upper or lower limit and further to the screwdriver insert. As a result, the screws can be driven properly up to the final setting position without causing an additional increase in torque from the insertion tool.
If strip-shaped sealing materials 7 are used, the screws 2 are arranged between sealing materials 7 inserted at the edge regions of the mutual contact region 5 of the wooden beams 1.
The cross-sectional shape of the wooden beams can be designed in a variety of ways when using the measures according to the invention. In this way, wooden wall constructions can also be formed according to the type of logs given in nature. Wooden beams 1 sawn onto different cross-sectional shapes with or without mutual groove and comb formation can also be used here.
In Fig. 1, three holes 8 are visible, which have been made by screwing in the screws 2. Corresponding bores 8 are visible in FIGS. 2 and 3. According to the representation in FIGS. 2 and 3, the bores 8 appear to be arranged in a line one above the other, but in fact the bores 8 of one beam are in each case offset by a bit from the bores 8 of the next beam, as is shown in FIGS. 6 can be seen.
