Description

The invention relates to a shelf with two vertical supports on which shelf elements can be fastened at different heights by means of mounting elements, and with lighting means for the shelf elements, which are supplied with electrical energy using the supports.

Shelves with electrical lighting devices are known from the prior art in many design variants and are often used in the field of shopfitting. Common to these constructions is the problem of laying the power supply lines. Since the illumination means are used to illuminate the shelf elements, such as shelves or drawers, it is desirable that these are each assigned to individual shelf elements. Often, such as in the case of the exchange of products presented on the shelf or untergbrachten, the distance between adjacent shelf elements or the total number of shelf elements of a shelf must be changed. In this case, first the electrical contact of the lighting means must be separated and then re-manufactured at a different height, resulting in special requirements for the electrical connections.

From the DE 34 39 657 A1 is known a shelf in which the electrical current guide lines are housed in the cavity of the vertical support profiles of the shelf. The individual shelf elements are designed in the manner of shelves, which each lighting means are assigned. To produce a current-conducting connection to these lighting means, the power supply lines accommodated in the supports are provided with individual contacts which establish the electrical connection when the consoles of the shelves are suspended. In order to allow a variety of possible vertical positions for the shelves, it is necessary to provide a corresponding plurality of contacts, which is why a montage-unfriendly and expensive construction of the shelf results, at least during the first construction.

From the GB 2 272 279 A a shelf construction is known in which run along the outside of the vertical supports electrical supply lines, which are resilient Contacting elements are connected to the lighting means of each also designed like shelf shelves shelf elements. Although with the help of this construction, as it were stepless contacting the lighting means regardless of the installation height of the respective shelf element, the design effort and thus the manufacturing cost of such a shelf are also high.

The invention has for its object to provide a shelf with lighting devices on the individual shelf elements, which is easy to assemble and inexpensive to manufacture.

To solve this problem is proposed in a shelf with the features specified that the supports are made of an electrically conductive material and both are in the current flow of the lighting means supplying power circuit, and that the mounting elements connected to make electrical contact with the support are.

Such a shelf is easy to assemble, and it is inexpensive to manufacture. Since the vertical supports are made of an electrically conductive material and both are in the current flow of the power supplying the lighting means, separate power guides in or on the supports are not required, which lowers the manufacturing cost of such a shelf. For ease of assembly contributes that each mounting member is connected to make electrical contact with the support. For electrical contacting, it is therefore sufficient to fix the shelf element via the mounting elements in the desired height of the shelf, e.g. by inserting. Separate contacting measures such as the connection of electrical plug contacts are not required.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the shelf elements are shelves, and that the mounting elements are brackets, which are supported to produce an electrical contact on the material of the support. The connection of the consoles with the supports is carried out directly and in an assembly-friendly manner by supporting the material of the supports. For contacting, it is therefore sufficient to use the shelf in a corresponding console, without further contacting measures would be required.

With a preferred embodiment of the shelf is proposed that the brackets are made of an electrically conductive material and in the current flow of the lighting means supplying energy with power circuit. This allows a further simplification of the shelf associated with a reduction in manufacturing costs. Separate current-carrying paths on the consoles are not required, but rather are themselves made of a good electrically conductive material, such as. Steel sheet, and are part of the flow of current from or to the lighting means.

The brackets are preferably provided with fastening elements which engage in corresponding fastening elements of the supports. Preferably, the fasteners of the supports openings, and the fastening elements of the brackets hooks, which pass through the openings and engage behind with their end portions of the support at the rear. In this case, it is advantageous if the production of the electrical contact between the end portions of the hook and the material of the support takes place. Separate contacting elements are not required, but the already mechanically related connection structures of the shelf are additionally used to also take over the electrical contact for the power supply of the illumination means.

Furthermore, it is proposed that the supports, facing the shelves, be provided with a protective or decorative surface coating, e.g. a painting, whereas the shelves facing away from the backs or inner sides of the supports are blank or uncoated. In this way, the supports can be provided with any type of surface coating for decorative or protective purposes without this preventing or impairing the electrical contact for the lighting device. The latter takes place rather in those back areas of the supports, which are blank or uncoated.

In a further embodiment, it is proposed that the shelves are separable from the consoles and the consoles have recesses for this, in which the shelves are used. For the power supply of existing electrically non-conductive material shelves these are provided along their narrow sides with a conductor which is in electrical contact with the edge of the recess of the console. Again, a particularly simple contacting of the shelves, since already with their insertion into the consoles, the electrical power supply is effected without, for example, electrical connectors must be connected together.

Furthermore, it is proposed with the invention that the conductor tracks extend along the underside of the shelf, where they hardly affect the overall impression of the shelf even if it consists of a glass or acrylic plate. Preferably, the conductor tracks are metallically vapor deposited or glued to the underside of the shelf.

The lighting means for the shelves can be arranged either in the area of the long side facing away from the supports of the shelf, or in the region of the long side of the shelf facing the supports.

For safety reasons, it is proposed that the circuit is a low-voltage DC circuit which can be connected via a transformer to the public power grid. Touching the self-energizing supports or consoles is therefore completely harmless to humans.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the shelf elements are drawers, and that the mounting elements are rails that guide the drawers during removal or insertion. The production of the electrical contact of the shelf elements with the supports is achieved via an electrical contacting of the rails. During assembly, it is therefore sufficient to fasten the drawer in the desired height of the shelf over the rails. Separate contacting measures e.g. the laying of any cabling or connecting additional electrical plug contacts are not required.

In this context, it is also advantageous if the rails are made of an electrically conductive material and in the current flow of the lighting means supplying energy with power circuit. This allows a further simplification of the shelf associated with a reduction in manufacturing costs. Separate current-carrying paths outside or along the rails are not required, but rather the rails themselves are made of a material of good electrical conductivity, e.g. Steel sheet, and are part of the flow of current from or to the lighting means.

Further, it is advantageous if the rails are electrically connected via at least one current-carrying element with the vertical supports. The provision of additional current-carrying elements also simplifies the assembly of the shelf according to the invention, if, for example, the installation height of individual drawers should be changed. The current-carrying elements can be provided so that their position does not need to be adjusted even when changing the vertical position of the individual drawers.

Preferably, a current-carrying element is provided with fastening elements which engage in corresponding fastening elements of the supports. Be particularly advantageous embodiment has proven, in which fasteners of the supports openings, and the fastening elements of the current-carrying elements are hooks that pass through the openings and engage behind the supports with their end portions on the back. Separate contacting elements are not required, but the current-carrying elements are connected directly to the current-carrying supports.

Kugelkontakte elektrisch kontaktiert. With a further embodiment, it is proposed that the rails are composed of a fixed outer rail and an inner rail which is movable together with the drawer and which are electrically connected to one another via an electrical grinding / ball contact. The outer rail is fixedly mounted on the side wall of the shelf, whereas the inner rail is firmly connected to the retractable and drawer drawer. Since the lighting means to work reliably even when pulling or pushing the drawer, the mutually movable inner and outer rails are electrically contacted via sliding or ball contacts.

An extension of the drawer extension is achieved when an intermediate rail is arranged between the inner rail and the outer rail, which is electrically connected to the outer rail and the inner rail via a respective electrical grinding / ball contact.

The drawers advantageously have at their rear end a storage area stockpiling a large number of goods and at their front end an exhibition area which can be viewed from the outside, the lighting means being arranged in the area of the exhibition area. Such drawers with a storage area and an exhibition area, especially in shop, for example, perfumeries, stationer shops, etc., widely used. In the warehouse area, a large number of similar goods are stored, whereas in the exhibition area individual goods are displayed as examples and are visible to the customer. By arranging the means of illumination in the exhibition area, the latter is well lit, so that the customer can easily recognize the goods presented in the exhibition area.

The FIGS. 1 to 4 and 5 to 9 show, supplemented respectively by Fig. 10 , in each case an embodiment of a shelf according to the invention. In the in the FIGS. 1 to 4 Shelf shown, the individual shelf elements are designed in the manner of shelves 2, which are connected by means of consoles 4a, 4b designed mounting elements to produce an electrical contact by supporting with the supports 1a, 1b. In the in the FIGS. 5 to 9 shown shelf, the individual shelf elements, however, are formed by drawers 102. These are electrically connected via rails 104 serving as mounting elements to the supports 1a, 1b.

That in the FIGS. 1 to 4 Shelf module shown is composed of two vertical supports 1 a, 1 b and several, in the embodiment a total of five hinged therein shelf elements in the form of shelves 2 together. The vertical supports 1a, 1b may, as shown, be free-standing stands or be attached to a building wall in the manner of carrier rails. They consist of open or closed steel sections and are provided in a commercial manner with distributed over their height openings in the form of slots 3, in which consoles 4a, 4b of the shelves 2 can be hooked. Due to the large number of slots 3, the shelves 2 can be hooked at different heights on the supports 1a, 1b. The shelf module after Fig. 1 shows a total of two profile supports, namely a left support 1a and a right support 1b. However, such as the Fig. 10 shows, the number of columns and shelves can be increased arbitrarily, for example, to support particularly elongated fabric supports safely and without deflection of the shelves. To cover the back of the shelf, a rear wall 5 is provided.

The individual shelves 2 are illuminated and provided for this purpose with suitable lighting means 7. The view of the shelf after Fig. 1 allows such lighting means 7 in the region of the supports 1a, 1b facing, ie the rear long side of the shelves 2 recognize. These lighting means 7 may be, for example, high-intensity light-emitting diodes or cold cathode lamps.

An alternative or additionally installable arrangement of lighting means 7 shows Fig. 4 , There is on those front long side of the shelf 2, which is the supports 1a, 1b remote from the long side, a lighting rail 8 is placed or pushed. Therein sit as light means 7 light-emitting diodes, which radiate directly into the narrow front edge of the here consisting of a glass shelf 2.

But also on the side of the shelves 2 can be arranged in accordance with the invention bulbs, so as to order the goods, for. to illuminate from the side.

To supply all lighting means of the shelf is arranged in both embodiments at the foot of the shelf between the two supports 1a, 1b, a transformer 10 connected to the 220-volt AC mains, cf. the FIGS. 3 and 7 , The transformer 10 is a low voltage transformer that provides a DC voltage of 12 volts. From the first transformer output runs a line 11 to the left support 1a, from the second transformer output another line 12 to the right support 1b. The leads 11 and 12 are contacted in such a manner on the supports 1a, 1b, that the supports themselves are placed under low-voltage and even in the current flow of the various lighting means 7 supplying power circuit. For this purpose, the two supports 1a, 1b are preferably made of steel or another good electrical conductor.

Details of the connection of the shelf elements with the supports 1a, 1b are for the embodiment with the shelves 2 below with reference to the Fig. 4 explained.

To each shelf 2 includes two consoles 4a, 4b, of which the left console 4a is mounted in the left support 1a, and the right console 4b in the right support 1b. For hooking two hooks 13 are formed on the consisting of sheet steel brackets in the embodiment, which pass through the slots 3 of the respective support and with their end portions 14 engage behind the support on the inside or back 15. At this location of the backgrip, i. between the back 15 of the support 1a, 1b and the end portions 14 and hooks 13 of the brackets 4a, 4b, the electrical contact and thus the voltage transfer from the respective vertical support 1a, 1b on the respective horizontal bracket 4a, 4b.

The two parallel consoles 4a, 4b can have an in Fig. 4 dashed lines, rigid element 16 may be interconnected. By appropriate choice of material of the connecting element 16, however, to avoid that the two consoles 4a, 4b get into electrical short circuit. The two consoles and the connecting element 16 have, facing away from the supports, a recess 19, in which a the actual shelf 2 forming disc of glass or acrylic can be inserted. On its underside and along its narrow sides, the glass pane is provided with an electrical conductor 20, which is in electrical contact with the edge 21 of the recess 19 of the respective console 4a, 4b. The current for the operation of the illumination means can therefore flow through the steel sheet brackets 4a and 4b, and pass through the contact at the edge 21 of the recess 19 via the conductor 20 to the electrical load or away from it. The conductor track 20 is preferably attached to the underside of the shelf 2 by metallic vapor deposition or by gluing. At this point, the conductor track 20, especially as it runs exclusively along the short narrow side of the shelf 2, barely visible. At the in Fig. 4 with 22 numbered digit the conductor 20 is in contact with not closer illustrated contacting means of the deferred from the front of the shelf 2 lighting rail. 8

In the Fig. 1 illustrated, along the rear long side of the shelf 2 arranged lighting means 7 are not supplied via the conductor 20 with power, but are directly connected between the electrically conductive consoles 4a, 4b.

The circuit therefore runs, starting from the transformer 10, via the line 11, the first support 1a, the console 4a and the conductor 20 resting on this console 4a to the illumination means 7. The return path of the illumination means 7 via the other conductor 20 to the console 4b, the right support 1a and via the line 12 back to the transformer 10th

A further embodiment of a shelf according to the invention is described below with reference to the in the FIGS. 5 to 9 illustrated module explained. In contrast to the embodiment described above, the individual shelf elements are formed in this embodiment of retractable and retractable drawers 102. As Fig. 5 can be seen, the drawers 102 are mounted on designed by type of rails 104 mounting elements on rigid side walls 107 of the shelf. While the mounting elements are connected in the first embodiment by direct support with the supports 1a, 1b, the rails 104 are electrically connected in this embodiment via additional current-carrying elements 105, 106 with the current-carrying supports 1a, 1b.

In the embodiment, the drawers 102 consist of a storage area 102a, in which a plurality of goods is stored, and a front of the drawer 102 arranged exhibition area 102b, which is easily visible even when the drawer 102 is closed and the presentation of the goods or samples used. At the in Fig. 5 The display area 102b has an opening 112 in which some goods can be accommodated by way of example and presented as samples to a customer, with the customer having the possibility of being able to access the goods displayed in the opening 112. The opening 112 is inclined relative to the horizontal, so that lower-lying openings 112 drawers 102 near the floor are well visible to the customer. At the rear end of the exhibition area 102b, two parallel and superimposed lighting means 7 are provided on the partition 102 dividing the drawer 102 in the exemplary embodiment. These lighting means 7 can, for example, high-intensity light-emitting diodes, cathode lamps, or the like. be.

The lighting means 7 are supplied via the current-carrying supports 1a, 1b with electrical energy, wherein the drawer 102 is set extensible in the usual way via a rail 104 on each of an electrically non-conductive side wall 107 of the shelf. The existing of an electrically conductive material rail 104 is part of the circuit and electrically connected via additional current-carrying elements 105, 106 with the vertical supports 1a, 1b. The one current-carrying element 106 extends substantially horizontally and has at its rear end two fasteners designed in the manner of hooks 109, which are suspended in corresponding openings 110 of the supports 1a, 1b, as this type of suspension already described in detail with reference to FIG Fig. 4 was described for consoles.

In contrast to the current-carrying element 106, the further current-carrying element 105 extends substantially vertically. Regardless of the installation height of the individual drawers 102, the rails 104 are contacted at their rear end with the vertical current-carrying element 105, which is why e.g. when changing the installation height of the drawers 102 no rearrangement of the current-carrying elements 105, 106 is required, which simplifies the installation of the shelf as a whole. The rails 104 provided on both sides of the drawer 102 and also the current-carrying elements 105, 106 provided on both sides result in an electrical parallel connection of the drawers 102 or the illumination means 107.

Alternatively, it is also possible that the rear end of the rails 104 is supported directly on the vertical supports 1a, 1b, so as to achieve the electrical connection with the current-carrying supports 1a, 1b. For example, 104 hooks can be provided at the rear end of the rails, which are then hooked directly into openings of the vertical supports in the manner of the hook connection already described. The current-carrying elements 105, 106 would not be required in such an arrangement.

Fig. 6 can be seen the dual function of the rails 104, which serve on the one hand as brackets or guides of the drawers 102, and on the other hand themselves are the current path of the lighting means 7 supplying power circuit. Details of the current flow or to the structure of the rails 104 will be described later with reference to Fig. 9 described in detail.

According to the plan view in FIG Fig. 7 the two horizontal current-carrying elements 106 are arranged laterally outside the side wall 107. Also can be in Fig. 7 recognize the position of the illumination means 7 in the front region of the drawer 102. The illumination means 7 may also be otherwise disposed on the drawer 102, but it is desirable that they illuminate the exhibition area 102b well and are not directly visible to the viewer.

Gewindebolzen, auf die Auszugschienen 104.How the detail representation in Fig. 8 can be better seen, the side wall 107 is composed in two parts of an inner member 107a and an outer member 107b. Inner and outer elements 107a, 107b are flat plates, on each of which a respective groove is recessed, in which the vertical current-carrying element 105 is inserted. The current-carrying element 105 is therefore electrically shielded to the outside by the two elements 107a, 107b and not visible. The current flow takes place starting from the vertical support 1b via the horizontal current-carrying element 106, via a fastening element 108 to the vertical current-carrying element 105 and from there via further lower fastening elements 108, such as the bolts or threaded bolts used for fastening the rails 104 the slide rails 104.

The further power supply and details of the slide rail 104 are in Fig. 9 shown. The pull-out rail 104, which itself is part of the current path, is composed of an outer rail 104a fixed to the side wall 107 and an inner rail 104b fixed to the movable drawer 102. Both the inner rail 104b and the outer rail 104a are made of a metal with good electrical conductivity. Since the inner rail 104b, together with the drawer 102 and the illumination means 7, is movable relative to the outer rail 104a, the further current flow takes place from the outer rail 104a to the inner rail 104b and from there via a fastening element 108 to the illumination means 7 via ball contacts 111. The ball contacts 111 formed by a plurality between the rails arranged balls 115, which also consist of an electrically conductive metal. In the embodiment, a metallic intermediate rail 104c between the outer rail 104a and the inner rail 104b is provided for extending the drawer during extension or insertion. The flow of current from the outer rail 104a toward the inner rail 104b therefore takes place firstly via a first ball contact 115 onto the intermediate rail 104c and from there via another ball contact 111 onto the inner rail 104b. As an alternative to the ball contact 111 shown in the embodiment, the mutually Moving elements of the rail 104 of course also be contacted with each other via other contacts, such as sliding contacts, etc., electrically.

The return current path from the illumination means 7 to the support 1a takes place analogously to the above-described forward current path.

In Fig. 10 Finally, the principle of the electrical connection in the base region of the shelf in the case of several juxtaposed shelf modules is shown in plan view for both embodiments, here in the case of five modules with a total of six vertical supports 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f. Two shelf modules share a support. The third support 1c is connected to one output, and the fourth support 1d is connected to the other output of the transformer 10. The alternates with the supports connected to the other output. For this purpose, two bus bars 23, 24 are provided, which contact the base elements 25a, 25b, 25c, 25d, 25e, 25f of the supports 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f. These base elements are made of sheet steel and are therefore in electrical contact with their respective support. The bus bar 23 is contacted with respect to the base elements 25b, 25d, 25f, and the bus bar 24 with respect to the base elements 25a, 25c, 25e. The contact via the busbars 23, 24 is very simple and easy to install, a single wiring of the supports deleted. In the Fig. 10 shown electrical interconnection can be applied equally in both embodiments of the invention.
