- Fluid product dispensing pumps are well known in the state of the art, in particular for dispensing products in the fields of cosmetics, perfumery or pharmacy. They generally comprise a piston sliding in a pump body, more particularly in a pump chamber provided in this pump body, and adapted to dispense a dose of fluid product at each actuation of the pump.
- the pump chamber generally includes an inlet valve to allow the dose of product expelled on each actuation to be defined.
- certain pumps sometimes incorporate shutters at the level of the dispensing orifice, to avoid any contamination of the product between two actuations. A problem which arises with this type of pump relates to priming.
- the pump chamber is filled with air, and it is therefore necessary to expel this air entirely to allow filling of said pump chamber with fluid and allow a metering precise and reproducible each time the pump is actuated. Priming is made all the more complicated since the pump includes a shutter. It is difficult to expel the air contained in the pump chamber from the latter, in particular because of the presence of said shutter.
- Another problem that can arise with fluid dispensing pumps concerns the quality of the spray, when it is a spray pump. Indeed, particularly when there is a shutter provided at the dispensing orifice, the quality and characteristics of the spray at the time of expulsion are dependent on said shutter.

- a passage 33 is provided between said second and third pistons 34, 35 at said second part of the pump chamber 23, said passage 33 being connected to the bypass passage 74, and consequently to the dip tube 18 and to the reservoir 60.
- the pressure in the pump chamber 20 rises very quickly, and this pressure rapidly displaces the shutter 38 by away from the dispensing orifice 45.
- the third piston 35 being integral with the shutter 38, it moves at the same time as the latter.
