Förderrichtung F der Etiketten 4 stromabwärts angeordnete Entnahmeöffnung 5 auf, durch die die Etiketten 4 einzeln aus der eingesetzten Kassette 1 resp. dem Magazin 3 abgezogen resp. ausgestossen werden.
Die Entnahmeöffnung 5 erstreckt sich quer zur Abzugsrichtung F der Etiketten 4 über wenigstens deren Breite und weist eine schlitzartige schmale Form auf, sodass die anschliessende, in Abzugsrichtung F vordere Wand 8 der Kassette 1 den Teilstapel über der Abzugsöffnung 5 zurückhält. Die Abzugsöffnung 7 ist rechteckig ausgebildet und erstreckt sich mit den vornehlich längeren Oeffnungskanten quer zur Abzugsrichtung F der Etiketten 4. In den sich gegenüberliegenden Seitenwänden 11, 12 der Kassette 1 bildet die Abzugsöffnung 7 eine von einem Bogen- resp. einem Kreisbogen geformte Ausnehmung, an die die Abzugsrolle 10 angepasst ist. Wie in Fig. 4 gezeigt, ist die Kassette 1 so zum Einbau in das Magazin 3 des Anlegers 2 eingebaut, dass die Etiketten 4 jeweils vom unteren Ende des Etikettenstapels abgezogen werden. D.h., die Abzugsöffnung 7 und die Fördervorrichtung 6 befinden sich an der Unterseite der in dem Magazin 3 des Anlegers 2 eingebauten Kassette 1. Die Abzugsrolle 10 ist zum teilweisen Eintauchen in die Kassette 1 durch die Abzugsöffnung 7 angeordnet. Durch eine entsprechende Ausbildung der Anordnungsweise der Abzugsrolle 10 könnte der Reibungsschluss mit den Etiketten 4 verändert werden, beispielsweise dadurch, wenn die Abzugsrolle 10 gegen eine Federkraft eingesetzt ist.
Der Reibungsschluss könnte auch durch ein auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Abzugsöffnung 7 angeordnetes und auf den Etikettenstapel einwirkendes Druckorgan 25, beispielsweise eine einseitig befestigte Blattfeder, oder dgl. veränderbar oder konstant einstellbar, erzielt werden. Hierzu könnte eine Oeffnung 17 in der als Decke der Kassette 1 vorgesehenen Wand 15 dienen.
Die Entnahme einer Kassette 1 aus dem Magazin 3 erfolgt durch einen von einer Perforation am Bogen 13 begrenzten, umlegbaren Lappen 24, der anhebbar oder bei wenigstens teilentleerter Kassette 1 in diese eindückbar ist, sodass ein Griff entsteht (siehe Fig. 1, 3 und 5), durch den die Kassette ausgezogen werden kann. Die Kassette 1 könnte aus einem nichtmetallischen, vorzugweise leicht verformbaren Werkstoff, wie beispielsweise Kunststoff, Karton, Papier oder Folie gebildet sein. Dabei könnte die Kassette 1 als Faltschachtel ausgebildet sein, wozu sich Karton, Papier oder eine Folie besonders eignen.
Hierzu könnte ein in Fig. 5 veranschaulichter konfektionierter Bogen 13 verwendet werden. Die einzelnen Abschnitte des eine Kassette 1 bestimmenden Bogens 13 sind mit den entsprechenden Bezugszeichen der in den Fig. 1 bis 3 verwendeten Bezugszeichen versehen. Die der Abzugsöffnung 7 zugeordnete Wand bildet einen Boden 14 der Kassette 1 und der Abschnitt 15 die vierte Wand. Im übrigen weist die mit dem Boden 14 der Kassette 1 die Entnahmeöffnung 5 bildende Wand 8 eine geringere Höhe a auf als die die Höhe der Kassette 1 bestimmenden (Seiten-) Wände 11, 12 und die Rückwand 16 der Kassette 1.
Die Fördervorrichtung 6 weist gemäss Fig. 4 eine in Förderrichtung F der abgezogenen Etiketten 4 der Abzugsrolle 10 nachgeschaltete Förderrolle 18 auf, die ausserhalb des Magazins 3 gelagert ist. Der Förderrolle 18 ist eine Rückhaltevorrichtung 9 zugeordnet, die gemeinsam dafür besorgt sind, dass jeweils nur die vorderste resp. der Abzugsöffnung 7 nächststehende Etikette 4 aus der Kassette 1 resp. dem Magazin 3 ausgestossen wird, wobei die Entnahme im synchronen Zusammenwirken mit einem stromabwärts angeordneten Adressier-, Frankier- oder anderen Verarbeitungsgerät erfolgt.
Für eine Optimierung des Reibungsschlusses mit den Etiketten 4 sind die den Transport bewirkenden Förder- bzw. Abzugsrollen mit einem die Friktionsreibung begünstigenden Belag, beispielsweise aus Gummi, versehen.
Am rückwärtigen Ende des Magazins 3 befindet sich ein in der Fig. 4 schematisch dargestelltes Positionierorgan 19, das die Kassette 1 resp. die gestapelten Etiketten 4 gegen einen vorderen Anschlag 20 in Betriebslage hält.

Claims (9)

  1.   4. Feeder according to claim 3, characterised in that the cassette (1) is designed as a folding box.
  5. Feeder according to claim 4, characterised in that the cassette (1) has a handle (24) for removing it from the magazine (3).
  6. Feeder according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the take-off roller (10) is arranged downstream of a conveying roller (18) of the conveyor (6) supported outside the magazine (3) as viewed in the conveying direction (F).
  7. Feeder according to claim 6, characterised in that a retaining device (9) acting on the labels (4) projecting from the cassette (1) is associated with the conveying roller (18).
  8. Feeder according to claim 7, characterised in that a processing machine, in particular a franking machine, is associated therewith.
  9. Feeder according to claim 8, characterised in that a conveying path for the label in the feeder (2) leads downstream to a conveying path for a flat postal item of the franking machine.
