L'invention concerne un dispositif (4) de serrage de pièces conçu pour supporter des pièces (P) de forme allongée, présentant une étendue (E) à dominante longitudinale entourée par au moins une surface latérale. Le dispositif (4) de serrage peut être combiné avec des machines-outils (6) équipées d'au moins une tête (114) porte-outil permettant l'usinage des pièces (P). Ce dispositif (4) comprend un corps (10) conçu pour supporter des moyens (16) de préhension qui maintiennent la pièce. Ce corps (10) comporte un base (22) conçue pour interagir avec des moyens (28) de support du dispositif (4) de serrage de pièces, et comprenant une surface (a) de référence laquelle présente au moins une ligne de référence (1) pour la pièce (P), cette ligne de référence (1) formant un angle (α) avec la base, de telle manière que dans une configuration de préhension de la pièce (P) par les moyens (16) de préhension, une partie au moins de la surface latérale de la pièce (P) est accessible à la tête porte-outil (114) sur toute l'étendue principale (E) de la pièce, et aux extrémités P', P''.
