Description

Une agrafe (1) selon l'invention est réalisée en métal ou toute autre matièreThe present invention relates to a fixing device for spectacle lenses, more particularly for so-called "three-piece frame" spectacles. For this type of glasses, the glasses do not have a rim and the nose or bridge, as well as the tenons of the branches are fixed directly on the glasses by different types of fixing. Many known fastening means require the drilling of the glass at one or more points for the passage of screws tightened by nuts, possibly glued or equipped with thread locks to avoid their untimely loosening. Other fixing means have been proposed such as the clamp systems of documents EP 0 790 519 or WO 99/19760 or DE 32 39699 which hold the glasses by compression and prevent them from being pierced. The clamp of the first document is either screwed onto the frame and tightened by a nut, or welded to the frame and tightened by a lever. Buffers made of elastic material are necessary interfaces between the planar branches of the clamp and the curved faces of the glass and the system requires the intervention of a technician for centering the latter. The clamp of the second document comprises a movable and curved bridge, the pressure force on the glass and determined by the tightening or loosening of a screw in a thread secured to a post of the frame branch. The glass is only held by pinching or compression between the post and the movable bridge in the absence of any drilling of the glass. This complex assembly requires: - the intervention of an optician or a technician for the precise positioning of the glass since there are no mounting marks between glass and tenon, the use of screwdrivers and precision tools, and compliance with pressure rules for tightening the screw, - the use of brakes. The clamp of the third document is simpler than the previous one, it comprises two complementary parts enclosing the glass and joined by a horizontal clamping screw and glued to the glass by a patch of glue. In general, all known glass fixing devices for “three-piece” frames have at least one clamping screw and require the intervention of an optician or a technician and the use of precision tools, to replace a defective lens. A first object of the invention is to provide a simple device without screws or brakes and requiring no precision tool for the replacement of a lens, a second object being to allow the user to mount himself different frames on the same pair of corrective lenses or not. These objects are achieved by the invention which consists of a clip for fixing a spectacle lens to a frame element of the “three-piece frame” type composed of a nose or bridge and of two branches each extended on the lens side by a post, characterized in that it comprises three elements, namely: a front branch secured to a post or a bridge of the frame, an interior segment, said front branch and said interior segment being articulated one to the other 'other by an ear system, a pin whose axis is adapted to be engaged in the ear system to form a hinge pin and whose head is adapted to be engaged between the front branch and the inner segment to form a locking spacer and in that said clip comprises at least one clip pin on at least one of the two elements (front branch, inner segment) capable of engaging in a corresponding hole in the glass. According to the variants, the branch can come from manufacturing with the frame part of which it is integral or else be attached or fixed thereon. The invention will be better understood using the description below made with reference to the following appended figures: FIG. 1 is a view in longitudinal section of a clip according to the invention in the closed position, FIG. 2 is a longitudinal section view of the clip of Figure 1 in the open position, Figure 3 is a sectional view along AA of Figure 1, - Figures 4 (from 4a to 4d) are detail views of a first part of the clip called the rear segment, FIGS. 5 (from 5a to 5c) are detail views of a second part of the clip called the front branch, FIGS. 6 (from 6a to 6c) are detail views of a third piece of the clip called a pin. A clip (1) according to the invention is made of metal or any other material
Par exemple la branche (2) comporte deux oreilles (7, 8) et le segment intérieur(plastic, various alloys ...) in use in eyewear and it is formed of the front branch (2) of a stud (3) and of a rectilinear and rigid interior segment, articulated one with respect to the another by a hinge ear system crossed by an axis (5) of a pin (6) serving as an axis of rotation. For example, the branch (2) has two ears (7, 8) and the inner segment
(2) has an ear (9). The axis (5) is extended at the top by a rigid rectangular head (10) whose width corresponds to the predetermined spacing between the front branch (2) and the inner segment (4) and whose variable width is sufficient to serve as a spacer between these two elements and keep them parallel. In addition at least one end of the clip has on its inner face at least one pin or nipple (12, 13) for holding a glass (11) by clipping while engaging in a bore of said glass. As an exemplary embodiment, the front branch (2) and the inner segment (4) shown in the figures each have and on the inner face of their end in contact with the glass, an oblong stud (11, 12) disposed transversely to the longitudinal axis of the clip. Alternatively, one can provide oblong nipples arranged longitudinally, one can also replace an oblong nipple with two separate cylindrical nipples. According to another variant, it is possible to provide a longer nipple on only one of the interior faces of the clip. In all variants, the pins have a first function of holding the glass by clipping in oblong holes (horizontal or vertical as the case may be) and pre-drilled in the glass by the manufacturer or by the optician, and a second function of anti relative rotation of the clip and the glass. In addition, the nipples may have on either side one or more deposits of soft or rubbery material for taking up play between the nipple and the bore. The oblong holes in the glass can also be replaced, as a variant, by two separate cylindrical holes. In all variants, the holes have a holding function by cooperation with the clip and a reference function for the precise positioning of the glass and the clip. For example, for mounting or replacing a glass, the pins (12) and (13) of the front branch (2) and of the interior segment (4) of the clip are engaged in a bore (14) of said glass. , and we engage the ear (9) between the ears (7, 8) in aligning their respective holes, and the axis (5) of the spindle is introduced into said holes, until the head (10) of the spindle abuts against the upper ear (7), the upper face of which is provided at a distance (h) from the upper face of the front branch (2) and the inner segment (4) of the clip. Preferably the height (h) is substantially equal to or slightly greater than the height of the head of the spindle, and the spacing (D) between the interior faces of the two elements (2, 4) of the clip is substantially equal to the width of the head (10) so that it acts as a locking spacer (see Figure 3). This spacing (D) is predetermined as a function of the thickness of the glass (11). Optionally, a standard clip can be provided to cooperate with a glass of calibrated thickness. Preferably but not limited to the end of the axis (5) is equipped with a non-return rubber bead (15) and the bore of the lower ear (8) is of a diameter greater than that of the ears ( 7, 9) so that the spindle (6) can be lifted without completely releasing the joint from the clip. It is then possible to rotate the inner segment (4) as shown in Figure 2 so as to open the clip and disengage the pins from their drilling. It is then possible to replace the lens and / or change the frame, then close the clip and lock it again by engaging the head (10) between the two parts of said clip as in Figure 1 Preferably but not limited to, the head (10) is fitted with a clipping means for forcibly clipping it into its housing (such as, for example, an additional thickness produced by machining, a circlip or a seal engaged in a groove, etc.). ). The invention has in particular the following advantages: the intervention can be carried out by the user without the intervention of an optician or a technician, it is carried out without precision tool and requires neither glue nor loosening thread brake , nor adjustment in the tightening of nuts, it allows to change glasses frame while keeping the same pair of glass, the clip is simple for the manufacture as for the assembly, the clip can be used as well to fix the bridge (or nose), than the tenons of the branches on the glasses. Of course the parts of the clip can be reversed with respect to the lens, that is to say that the branch integral with the frame can be placed on the inside and the segment in front of the lens.
