Aus der DE 196 33 668 C1 ist ein derartiges Walzenwechselwerkzeug bekannt, das die jeweils zu wechselnde Walze auf einer Führungsbahn aus dem Walzenstapel entfernt. Darüber hinaus bedingt die Führungsbahn einen langen Hebel, damit die Walze aus der Walzenebene des Walzenstapels herausbewegt wird. Ein weiterer Vorteil liegt darin, daß dadurch auch der seitliche Zugang zur Walzenmaschine deutlich verbessert wird. Die Bewegungssteuerung der Walze ist zudem direkt. Darüber hinaus ermöglicht das Walzenwechselwerkzeug einen zielgerichteten schnellen Walzenwechsel, da das Walzenwechselwerkzeug beim Einhängen an der Walzenmaschine über den Schaftfortsatz gelenkt wird. Die eingehängte Ausbauvorrichtung 1 ist in Fig. 2 dargestellt. Zum Auswechseln der Walze 6 wird dann die Laufkatze 9 zum Kopf 8 des Trägers 2 hin verfahren und bewegt dadurch die Walzenaufnahme 4 derart, daß das Walzenende 5 in die Aufnahmeöffnung 10 gelangt, wie dies in Fig. 3 dargestellt ist.
