Description

The invention relates to a method for manually merging manually processable flat shipments with automatically sorted in a sorter by the distribution order, stored on a section conveyor shipments, which transports the items in the sections to a collection station in which the items automatically stacked in the distribution order in collection container become.

It is known from DE 198 29 484 C1 to combine stacks of automatically processable items, which are each already sorted according to the order of distribution, into an overall stack, a portion conveyor being used which transports the items into a collection container.

In all previously known automation solutions, however, a portion of the programs is always only manually processed. So they can not be inserted into the shipment stack by machine. This is done by the delivery agent. The reasons for this are essentially in the format properties. If these shipments are not inserted in the "parcel" per delivery point or at least in the correct place in the stack, the time savings achievable during delivery are again lower because the deliverer processes a second stack of manual shipments in addition to the "parcel" stack Has.
If manually processable consignments had to be added ("merged") to a consignment stack sorted mechanically in a distribution order, then the consignment batch was automatically sorted manually into the same compartments in which the manual consignments were sorted , However, this process is very time-consuming.

From EP 0 661 105 B1, DE 196 50 875 C1 and DE 197 05 891 C1 it is known to provide placeholders for certain types of mailing when sorting according to the distribution order. In addition, DE 196 50 875 C1 or DE 197 05 891 C1 discloses to sort placeholders together with automatically processable items according to the order of distribution for only manually processable items, and then to replace the placeholders by the items assigned to them only which can be processed manually ,

-bereiches automatisch hinzugefügt werden.US-A-2002/0074268 discloses a method for processing flat shipments with an automatic sorter including a conveyor belt, wherein the section conveyor transports the mail items in sections to a collecting station, and wherein the delivery points are distinctive separation cards that are so large and stable that they Form compartments in the collection bin between consignments, to be added automatically before or after the consignments of a delivery point or area.

The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a method for manually merging manually processable flat broadcasts with automatically sorted in a sorter according to the distribution order, transported with a section conveyor in collection container shipments, with which the necessary manual effort is reduced.

According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
In this case, the delivery points characterizing separation cards that are so large and stable that they form compartments located in the sump between the programs, automatically added before or after the broadcasts of a delivery point or Zustellpunktbereiches. The collection containers are filled only with the shipments and the separation cards so far that there is still room for the manually added items. The containers are then transported to the competent delivery office, where the manually processable shipments according to their Address to be placed in the appropriate subjects.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are set forth in the subclaims.
Thus, it is advantageous to automatically transport the separation cards before storing the automatically sorted items in the sections associated with the delivery points. This can be done, for example, with a device as described in DE 198 29 484 C1, only without reading devices.

Likewise, it is possible to automatically transport the separation cards after the filing of automatically sorted items in the sections associated with the delivery points.

It is also possible, during the automatic loading of the collecting container from the section conveyor, to automatically transport the separation cards directly between the corresponding mailings / consignment stacks into the collecting containers.

So that the items do not slip or get mixed up during transport, the space for the items to be added manually during transport to the deliverers is filled by a filling element for fixing the items.

To make the manual addition of mailpieces ergonomic, it is advantageous to form the containers so that they are stackable with the opening directed sideways and are stacked on a mobile rack for manually adding the mailings to a compartment wall.

In order for the operator responsible for the sorting to be able to reach the openings of the containers well with the least possible change in his local position, it is advantageous to apply part of the frame about a vertical axis the side with the openings of the container pivotally carry out.

It is also advantageous if, for better orientation of the employee on the compartment wall formed the separation cards are colored according to the areas of the distribution line.

Subsequently, the invention will be explained with reference to the drawing in an embodiment.

As a result of the solution according to the invention, the machine-sorted items 4 are fed to the delivery person or to a person at the delivery office with minimal transport volume, which allows the manual addition of only manually editable items in an efficient and ergonomic manner.
For this purpose, separation cards 3 are automatically added to the automatically loaded in a distribution order in sections 2 of a section conveyor belt 1 by a sorter shipments 4.
This is done by the separating cards 3 are placed before the sorter by means of a device, as described in DE 198 29 484 C1, only without reading device and buffer lines at the bottom of the sections. If certain areas of the distribution line are to be identified by colored separation cards, so are several pile shots with separating devices (a batch receptacle for each color) as shown in DE 198 29 484 C1.
It is also possible, of course, to place the separation cards 3 after the programs 4 on the section conveyor belt 1 at the top. An additional possibility may be to shoot the separation cards in the collection station at the right time in addition to the shipments 4 in the collection container 5 as a separation between the broadcasts for the Verteilhaltepunkte. Depending on requirements, a separation card 3 can also be inserted only after shipments for several delivery points. The separation cards 3 must be adapted to the size of the collecting container 5 and stiff so that they form in the container 5 compartments, between which the sorted consignments are 4. The container 5 before transport is only filled to the extent that there is still room for a subsequent manual addition of only manually processable shipments. In order to ensure the position and orientation of the items during transport, the free space is filled by a removable filling element 6. The collection container 5 are then transported to the delivery office while maintaining the distribution order. There they are stacked on mobile racks 7 with the openings to the side, for example by means of robots, so that forms a compartment wall, in the subjects of the responsible employee classifies the manually processed broadcasts. For better identification of the subjects, the separation cards 3 can be marked in color or otherwise. The mobile frame 7 can also be made so foldable that a compartment wall is formed in L-shape and allows loading with little effort.

After manually adding the consignments and completing any control activities, there are several possibilities to proceed:
  1. a) consignment stack can be removed leaving the separation cards 3 from the collection containers 5, bundled by the deliverer still in the desired form and thus for the delivery will be prepared. It is then possible to insert programs with oversize in the right places in the stack,
  2. b) Shipment stacks are left with the separation cards 3 in the collection containers 5. The collection container 5 are transported to the delivery vehicle and loaded there. The removal from the collection containers 5 takes place during delivery,
  3. c) as b), but the separation cards 3 are pulled in advance (possible with "packed" stacks of mail).
